Avoid this scam-money crazy place. I went to this place to…read moreget my scar removed and after paying $800 for the procedure that's supposed to be 3 times treatment, im now being forced to buy their "cream". Here's what happened: I did my first treatment and it gave me a laser burn which made the scar spot even bigger and darker. My skin is bit sensitive, thinner, and weaker than the other people. Skin thickness and ect. Is different depending on the ethnicity as well and they should know that better. BUT without knowing my skin type, they have proceeded the laser with the highest power(they told me that they used the highest power) and that gave me the burn. I cant imagine how painful it was during the treatment even after numbing the area!!! and i thought it was normal. But after doing some research, i figured ITS NOT NORMAL. Even that being said, i tried to be patient and gave it almost a year to heal up after the FIRST treatment. I didnt want to proceed with the second treatment when they told me i should. (What?) so I explained myself that i want to make sure that the dark spot is gone before the second procedure because im not too sure if this will even go away. Then they agreed and gave me this hydroquinone cream to treat the dark spot. Now, fyi, this cream has to be purchased, but they just gave it to me to use them until the second treatment. At this point they knew something was wrong and thats why they gave me the cream for free. Using the cream, it made my scar spot even more red and irritated. So i stopped using it after a week of usage. I went back for my second procedure after giving the spot some time to heal back from the side affect of the cream, and now they say that using the cream is mandatory to proceed with the laser and since i havent been using it, i need to buy one and come back after two weeks for the treatment. And they cant give me any more for free because the first two were "complimentary" and now ill have to buy it on my own. Ok, first of all, i barely even used that cream and it expired and now theyre forcing me to buy one in order to proceed with the procedure. The nurse said "we cant force anybody to buy the cream, but unfortunately you cant proceed with the treatment if you dont use the cream. The 4% is $76 and the 8% is $150" Excuse me Olivia, do you hear yourself? You cant force me but if not, you wont do the procedure? And most importantly, I WAS NOT INFORMED ABOUT THIS CREAM BEING MANDATORY to begin with. And she says "it wasnt mandatory at first but our protocol changes and it changed recently" yeah sounds more like it JUST changed, doesnt it? It literally took almost a year to heal from the first laser burn and i dont want to do another treatment and wait another year to heal and do the last treatment and give THAT another year, total of 3 gracious years to just heal from the scar WITH THE TREATMENT THAT I PAID? but what can i do? I already paid my $800 and i cant just let that be thrown out the window, not being able to get a refund. 1. They did not informed me about the cream being mandatory 2. And they say it wasnt mandatory but now it is 3. They wont proceed with my second treatment without using the cream 4. The cream was supposed to be mandatory to prevent from forming dark spots, so they "recommend" patients using them prior to the treatment because it's NOT mandatory. What? Does that make sense to anybody? Even if WAS mandatory, then how come I WAS NEVER TOLD ABOUT IT? 5. And on top of that, the nurse kept going back and forth saying it was mandatory then the next minute, it wasnt mandatory, but a little later, now its mandatory but also not mandatory because they cant force anyone to buy it but wont proceed with the treatment if not purchased. I bet they bought the good reviews here. This place is just ridiculous.

I'm writing this review to warn others about the possible side effects of facial laser treatment…read morebecause I do not feel I was properly informed of the risks beforehand. I had laser treatment performed on my entire face, including around my eyes. After the procedure, I developed severe post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation under both eyes. I was verbally told there was only a possibility of small hyperpigmentation spots, not extensive dark discoloration covering the entire under-eye area. I will admit that I did not thoroughly read all of the paperwork I signed. However, if I had fully understood that this could be a possible outcome, I never would have agreed to the procedure. I now look worse than I did before the treatment, which has been incredibly distressing and the emotional impact of this experience has been far greater than I was prepared for. I returned for follow-up appointments and was repeatedly assured that results can take up to 90 days. Unfortunately, at the 90-day mark, there was still no meaningful improvement. I contacted the spa again via text message, which had been our primary form of communication, and sent photos showing the condition of my eyes after 90 days. I never received a response. I strongly encourage anyone considering this treatment to fully research the potential risks and make sure they clearly understand all possible side effects before proceeding.

I came in for a highly recommended Hydrafacial, and Mimi absolutely did not disappoint. She took…read morethe time to explain each step of the process and educate me on the benefits, which made the experience even better. I'll definitely be scheduling my Hydrafacial on a quarterly basis moving forward. Thank you to Mimi and the entire team at the Spa at South Bay Plastic Surgeons for making everything so seamless--from booking the appointment to checkout. I truly appreciate the great service and wish you all a Happy New Year!

Wow I've never seen a bigger nail salon! It doesn't look like much from the outside, it looks like…read moreyour typical small nail salon from the outside in a strip mall. It's HUGE inside. There was probably 40-50 people inside getting their nails done. The lady at the front desk wasn't very friendly. I came for a pedicure with my sister. We tried to get our pedis at the same time and next to each other and our times were a bit staggered. Not too big of a deal. They have lots of color options, regular polish and gel. I got a standard regular polish and it looked great. No massage with the pedi. It definitely feels a bit like a factory because once you're done they immediately want you off the chair so they can start working on the next place. At least they're efficient!

I realize I should have made an appointment, so I take responsibility for that. What I don't like is being told it'll be 20-30 minutes only to end up waiting an hour. I sat there and watched people who came in after I did get full mani/pedi services while I was left wondering if I'd been skipped. I don't think all of them had appointments - I'm not kidding when I say I waited longer than anyone else. Once I got sat down, my service was so rushed. The tech wasn't outright rude, but seemed impatient and annoyed. My hands got snatched up roughly with cuticle trimming and filing being done so quickly that it hurt. It's disappointing to wait and wait only to get a rushed, and honestly a bit sloppy, service. Receptionist lady is also not very friendly. There are many, many nail shops that are better than this and treat paying customers better.
