I had an amazing facial experience leaving my skin hydrated and plump. The esthetician provided an exceptional facial massage and gave me guidance on how to lighten the brown spots. I normally do not do skin treatments, but I turned 50 last year and decided this was good a time as any to try something more than just a facial. Someone recommended me to this place and I'm so glad I went!! The place is super clean and inviting, and all the staff wore masks the entire time. I had ultherapy as well as RF microneedling done. It's only been a few days but my face feels smoother and tighter, and I can't wait for the results to continue to show. Wow, they take their time explaining the procedure and are meticulous with their prep before the treatments. Kate could not have been more gentle and professional, constantly checking my comfort level. She was wonderful! After my treatments, they gave me detailed post treatment instructions. They did not push me in any way to purchase bunch of products or solicit for more treatment. They actually steered me away from certain popular treatments, telling me that my skin type was not suitable for those. So this is a long time coming. But I have to start out by saying I've seen Dr Han a few times I really thought he knew what he was talking about. The last time I went I was inquiring about a new procedure that would cost a lot of money, he was very rude to me and seemed so disinterested and told me that I don't come on a regular basis and I'm not dedicated on keeping my treatments up. Despite my horrific experience with this place, I am glad to see that another reviewer had a good one. I would never wish for anyone else to have to experience what I had experienced. I had explained in my previous review that neither Dr. Richard Han nor Dr. Kenneth Han could figure out what went wrong with my procedure. They also had never informed me or explained to me any possible adverse reaction to Levulan. (It was only my guess that I might have been allergic to it.) They both assured me that it was safe and effective for my type of skin. I trusted them. When it went wrong, neither of them was prepared to handle it. Although they promised to 'take care of me' until my skin got back to where it was prior to Levulan, they DID NOT! I understand with any 'surgery' there is risks. But when a doctor screws up on his procedure (surgery), he is responsible to make right of it again. He can't just abandon his patient. My treatment cost more than $3,500! And yes, I expected superb work from this place, but what I got was nothing superb! read more

Bought two LivingSocial vouchers, used the European facial one - showed up 20 minutes before appointment time, wasn't seen till 15 minutes past appointment time & facial lasted 45 minutes instead of the full 60 minutes! Worse yet, scheduled a vibraderm weeks in advance but unfortunately got into a CAR ACCIDENT the day of the appointment. Of course they couldn't re-schedule me before the voucher expired & said they'll put me on the waiting list! I specifically explained my EMERGENCY & was told they would have to ask the manager to see if they could still honor my voucher. Still haven't heard back & I've pretty much forfeited the voucher because how dare I get into an accident on the day of my precious appointment - needless to say: two thumbs way down!!!!! read more

I've been getting my Botox and fillers done by Dr. Han for the past couple years. He is one of the best out there. He informs you of all your options, is caring and always consistent. The office is nice and in a great location. My only complaint would be he is only there 2 days a week. So it makes it hard to get in unless you book ahead of time (which I don't like to do) The office staff is always friendly but lacks in responding quickly to emails and voicemails. This has always been an issue since day one but I just keep calling and following up myself. I have had more than one facial here, and their facials last anywhere between 40 and 45 minutes. Other places I go facials will last anywhere between 50 and 60 minutes. STAY AWAY from this spa. I went in for some laser hair removal on my back. The doctors NEVER did an initial consultation as they advertise now. They never even took initial pictures. After the 4 treatment, I was complaining that it wasn't working. They told me I probably needed to buy more treatments. They performed one more treatment and I wanted to see how it would do. My hair is almost completely back. After writing a few letters back and forth, they had advised me that laser hair removal is NOT PERMANENT! Say what? I asked for my money back and they balked. These guys are a joke. They are not the sort of doctors we should give business to in our area. I was told that some lasers just don't work on some people. They should tell you this in advance but THEY DON'T. Dr Han gives you that feeling like he should be selling you cars. Even when I showed him the manufacturers web site of the equipment he purchased showing it is permanent laser hair removal, he quickly stated, " I need to address this with them becaused it is not accurate". Stick to used cars Dr. Han. I am very unhappy with Skin Nirvana. I wouldn't do business with them! read more

I can't speak to the laser services that they offer that other patrons had problems with... I had a free consultation with Dr. Han regarding my good ol' fashioned, run-of-the-mill breakout. Dr. Han did something that every other dermatologist I've seen hasn't done- HE LISTENED. He then hooked me up with a fantastic solution that really seems to be a miracle in a bottle. Part of the speech felt a little sales-pitchy, but then again, when you're selling a good product and service, I'm totally okay with that. Don't go there.....You will have a terrible look.... When I visited Dr. Han for Botox I told him I would like to have a natural look. After a week of his Botox injection one of my eyebrows was a lot higher than the other one and I look terrible... I thought it will get better after two weeks which is the timeline for Botox to fully works on your body....After two weeks nothing have been changed and I still have the terrible look.... I have been getting botox done by another doctor more than 2 years and never have this issue so this was Dr hon's fault. I called his office and spoke with Alice the office manager and asked her to refund for the units of botox were injected to my eyebrows and she refused to do so. I wish I could have had my original look back soon...... Probably I have to suffer for three more months and they don't even care how I look like... read more

I was reluctant to try the Photofacial/IPL because I have sensitive skin, but I went into Skin Nirvana and they did a wonderful job. I have only had one treatment so far, but I notice the hyperpigmentation on my cheeks have dramatically decreased. I also had a dark spot near my lips that was a result of acne, but now it is gone!! I will definitely go back to continue to treat those stubborn age spots, and I trust Dr. Han and his staff to do the job . read more

I recently finished a laser package with Skin Nirvana. I was so very pleased with everything the Med spa had to offer. The customer service that they treated me with was exceptional. I had services with Dr. Richard and Dr. Kenneth and even some facials with there aesthetic staff. The whole staff including the Patient Coordinator were so well educated on the procedures and the do's and dont's of my pre and post treatment care. Any time I had a question whether I called or I was there for an appointment I always got a definite answer and reasons to back those answers. I am of Latino decent and have always been very sceptical of any treatments to improve my aging and hyper pigmented skin because I have seen and heard of horror stories with people actually doing more damage than improvement. I feel horribly for those people but I know now what direction I can point those people in for some Truly Amazing Results. The direction of Skin Nirvana! I would tell them to be clear and honest with what they want or expect to see in there skin and always to do exactly what the doctors and staff say to do in regards to after care or post treatment care. They too will be able to walk with more confidence and there head held high because they know that "yes" everyone is starring cause "I LOOK AMAZING" and feel Better than Ever! Thank You Skin Nirvana! I have been going to dr. Kenneth Han for about 2 years now and am very pleased. He is extremely knowledgable. He recommends, but is never pushy. I tried one of the nurses once to save a little money, but believe me it's better to pay a little more and let the doctor do the injections. I'm still too chicken to try the lasers. read more
