I would give it a zero if I was allowed. Had a spot removed on a VERY visible area on my body and the stitching was SOOO poorly done you can see X marks - every single stitch mark is visible. Do not go here if you want something to look cosmetically nice. I have to have laser treatments going forward just to fix the horrible scar Dr. Lyndsey created. Also, bed side manners aren't great. I've had nothing but great experiences here. Admittedly, looking at some of the other complaints about phones, I've rarely had occasion to call them but the one time I did call I didn't have an issue. You can set up appointments on their website and that makes things so super easy for me. I'm neurodivergent and I hate talking to people on the phone, so having a website where I can book things is greatly appreciated. The web forms aren't the most simple to navigate but it works pretty well. Dr. Lyndsey has been great. I'm transgender and never had an issue here. The doctor has been understanding and helpful. I've been by there a couple of times for different issues and it's always been quick and easy. I've consulted about hair loss, had some skin tags removed, and asked about some skin blemishes. I took my daughter to get her elbows and knees looked at because the skin was discolored and flakey . I was previously told it was psoriasis but Dr Stoddard said it was not so she suggested a skin biopsy to which I agreed to . The biopsy came back and nothing came up . I now received a bill for $1,185.63 from the place they sent the biopsy . I was never told I had to pay anything else other than the copayment . So disappointed! My first visit was good but I was kept waiting for 40 minutes past my appointment time. The 2nd appointment was for surgery. I had called a week prior and gave them all my new insurance information. When I got there for the surgery, they had none of the information in the system. We went back-and-forth for 40 minutes because they said they could not confirm the insurance information. After forty minutes, they said I would have to reschedule because I was past my time. This was all due to the staff not verifying the information prior to the appointment. I had gone out of my way to give them everything way in advance. Very disappointing. They didn't care at all how inconvenient they made my day and the people who are with me. read more

Like others mentioned, when trying to contact the office it seems almost impossible. It was a call center that I was directed to. Similar experience where prescription was not sent to the Pharmacy. So trying to get ahold of someone was difficult. read more

Dr Lyndsey was very professional and thorough. I had never had a complete body scan before. She named all the moles I had and how they were nothing to worry about. She also painlessly removed an ugly tag that I have wanted to remove for decades in minutes. The office was immaculate and I was very comfortable to take off my shoes and stand on the floor. Terrible experience with this business. I will start off by saying that I had a time-sensitive skin infection that was spreading that I was hoping to get treatment for. The first issue is that their business phone number doesn't actually go to their office, it goes to a call center location in another country. So I had to physically go into the office just to make an appointment. I had it confirmed multiple times by the call center and the front desk that they take my insurance. Their soonest appointment was 5 days later, which was fine. The biggest disappointment was getting a call just 5 HOURS before my appointment that they actually don't take my insurance and that I would have to pay cash. I wasted nearly an entire week waiting for my scheduled appointment, while my skin infection continued to get worse, when I could have been getting care elsewhere. The front desk was not apologetic about their mistake at all. Very disappointed and terrible experience. read more

I wish I could give them zero stars. If you need to call them have fun talking to someone in South Africa or Middle East. I finally gave up and went into the office to set up my appointment. I asked 5 times whether they took my insurance. They assured me that I was good to go, Then they text morning of my appointment that they don't take my insurance and it would be a cash appointment. Tried calling and they of course didn't answer so I went in person and the women working didn't even apologize, they don't give a flying f*ck! Stay away from this terrible office. read more

They never answer the PHONE! Been trying to call for about 3 weeks now. Time to move on and call a different dermatologist.

In late 2024 I went to have two epidermoid cysts looked at. Because they were not inflamed or infected, the doctor said their removal would be considered cosmetic. I had a few other spots to be checked. She would start looking at them before I finished speaking and naming off their condition quite quickly. I felt rushed, but she was efficient. They took photos of the cysts for my file and I just planned to return in 2025 to pay out of pocket for their removal. Mid-May 2025, one of the cysts started feeling painful and was swollen, she prescribed antibiotics and scheduled me to come in on July 1 to have the cyst excised. No further instructions or information was provided. A few days later I was having very bad pain, fever, and it was leaking. I called the office during business hours and got the closed office recording which also provided a number for an on-call doctor. I called that number and left my message and did not receive a call back. I tried again 2 days later, got the same recording, left a message, and still never received a call. I ended up going to urgent care and received 3 weeks of treatment from a different doctor there and the cyst has been removed. Needless to say, I cancelled the July 1 appointment which was also difficult since they never seem to answer the phone. My condition had grown worse and I never received information from Skin Physicians that this could happen, and never received a call back when I called to inquire. This is a terrible way to leave a patient. While all interactions with the doctor and staff have been professional and polite, I would never recommend this office due to lack of follow-up during a time of uncertainty and needing further treatment. read more

She reviewed whats transpired with my skin since my last visit, changed our approach given a recent autoimmune disease diagnosis, and is contacting a compounding pharmacy to create a topical version if the medication i was prescribed for the autoimmune disease. She also offered me a free followup that I'll book after i try the new topical. Very pleased with her reaching out and efforts to fix the situation. Im going back now. read more

I had a procedure yesterday. Went to pharmacy to pick up prescription, they had not received an order. Called after hours and left message. Called again this morning (the phone system and getting a person on the line is a joke) I was transferred to the nurses station, where the person was rude and unhelpful. Apparently my chart did not have notes in it (which is also concerning) I asked another question and was hung up on! My review is based on the follow up I needed and the lack of service provided. If you are looking for a quality and caring dermatologist that is compassionate, professional, listens to your concerns, is detail oriented and respectful of your privacy in the examination room without numerous folks being brought in to participate without your approval, Dr. Lyndsey is my first choice. She is proactive and spends the necessary time to catch skin related problems before they ever become a major issue and, if one is found, is tenacious at satisfactorily addressing the issue to a successful completion. Although she has recently moved her office to Chino from the Upland area, the annual trips are well worth the short drive to access her expertise. With her being paired with Dr. Steven Chow, Mohs Surgeon, for Mohs procedures, the services provided are a 'one stop' shop and have completely met my dermatology needs in this regard. The office is clean, well maintained and the staff are all very responsive and welcoming upon arrival. Dr. Lyndsey also values your time as she is able to maintain and adhere to the scheduled appointment period. Can't say enough about her and her team, and I know I am in great hands when it comes to challenging skin issues that may present itself now or in the near future.
