My son has been struggling with acne for 3 years. We event to different acne clinics many times and prescribed with Retin- A (strength from 0.1-0.5-1) and oral antibiotic. However, none of these were help but caused severe skin dryness. I heard Serenity from my friend, I didn't have much confidence at first but would love to try whatever could possibly help my son. I had my first facial experience and I loved it. Victoria works on your skin for the entire 90 minutes patiently and thoroughly. I told her that it was my first facial treatment so she explained step by step of what she was doing and gave me advices. I arrived right when the store opened and I could tell she went in earlier to make sure the room was all set for me. The room was small but very organized and clean. She had the heater and humidifier on. I already felt relaxed just walking in the room. The acne treatment included cleansing, exfoliating, microdermabrasion, blackhead removal, skin extractions, LED light treatment, and ending with a refreshing face mask. I've had pretty clear skin for this whole year except for the occasional pimple and some acne scarring. For god knows what reason, my skin started breaking out these past couple weeks around my chin and cheeks with deeper than normal pimples. Like way more than usual. I was afraid because I knew I'd be left with scarring if I left them alone. I saw the reviews for Victoria and liked that she included microdermabrasion in her acne facial and that it was 90 minutes for a good price. I texted her to make an appointment on the same day. Her shop is located inside the Beijing Dongtian Hair Salon by the laundromat. Walk towards the back and her room is the first door to the right. Victoria is a super sweet lady. She spent a lot of time showing me before and after pictures of her clients and their amazing results. She also gave me advice on how to continue taking care of my skin and went over products with me. She cleansed my face, performed microdermabrasion, extractions, LED light mask, and a peel-off mask that smelled SOOO good. And this included a massage. The extractions were sooo painful, more than past facials that I've gotten. I was actually worried it would leave a mark. Plus extractions look horrible the day of/ after so I was a bit worried. I really enjoyed the facial and she explained to me that my pimples weren't going to go away with just one acne facial so I ended up buying her good deal for 2 facials. She also gave me a sample of an acne cream that she used on me! I waited a few days to write this review but I actually saw results a couple of days following! It's been four days and my skin is visibly better, my pores look so much smaller, the spots she extracted are flat now and look a lot better, almost no blackheads, and my overall face just feels so much cleaner. I have also received multiple compliments on how clearer and radiant my skin looks. Don't let the exterior of her shop fool you. Her room is located in a strip mall inside a hair salon, and it is very clean and comfortable. It's semi-private with a curtain dividing the other side of the room. From the times I've been there, there has only been one other customer. To make an appointment, I recommend texting her and it's fairly easy to secure a time. Had a great experience here! I received a 90 minute acne facial treatment, which includes multiple masks, cleanses, serums, creams and shoulder/chest massage. She is really great, patient and knowledgeable. I explained to her I had whiteheads and blackheads, as well as some discoloring and she immediately got to work on them. By the end of my treatment my whiteheads were mostly gone (she did explained to me that 1 or 2 whiteheads were not ready to be extracted, and that if forced it would leave a noticeable scar) which is great after only one treatment.
