I saw Tiffany for a consult and received Xerf and Pico. While it's still too early to see results, I would definitely go back for the office and service alone. First, the office is beautiful and so clean and calm. It definitely feels high-end, but it didn't feel snobbish. The people there were very warm and friendly. Tiffany was wonderful and met me right at my appointment time. She was attentive and answered all my questions. Best of all, she didn't try to push anything other treatments or upsell. While she did mention some other options later down the line, there was absolutely no pressure to get them down, and no pressure to sign up for any packages. The procedures both went smoothly and I had no bad side effects (but again, it's still too early to see results). The best part of Skin Select is that no one seemed rushed. I've been to other med spas where you feel like cattle, rushing you in and out. And I've been to other places where I've have to wait over an hour to see someone because they were just cramming as many patients as possible into an appointment session. I waited to write this review because I wanted my emotions to settle down because this experience has been one of the most frustrating that I've ever gone through. I went to Tiffany Wang to do Derma V laser to treat my broken capillaries after doing my own research and after being reassured by her that it is safe for all skin types. I've also gotten Derma V done before on my red arm stretch marks and saw great results, but this would be the first time having it done on my face so I was pretty nervous but also not too worried because my skin has responded well to this laser before. If you aren't familiar with Derma V, with each blast you are supposed to feel a cooling sensation and it's that cooling that helps it to be safe for multiple skin tones. We do the first "zap" and I jolt away because I felt nothing but pure heat. I had never felt anything like that before with the laser. She was shocked by my reaction so she proceeded to turn down the settings. Second zap. I still feel heat -- no cold. She's shocked again. She adjusts the settings again and says "let me turn up the cold" and then we proceed with the treatment and NOW I feel the cold. As we're doing the treatment I notice those first two spots beginning to turn red and she notices as well so she immediately applies bruise + steroid cream and tells me that it's normal and that might just be the way my skin responds to the laser (which confused me because again, I've done this laser before and have never had this sort of reaction). The spots are also burning and I've never felt that either with this laser. We finish up and she tells me to just use bruise cream and it should subside but I'm still feeling weird about it. To make the next part shorter -- by the next day, the "bruise" had began to peel because it was in fact not a bruise, it was a burn. She burned my face. I can't even put into words what I was feeling because the whole point of going to professionals is because you trust that they know what they're doing. So to leave with a burn just feels traumatizing and deeply upsetting. She did issue me a refund and offer to fix it once the burns heal, but I'm sure you can imagine not exactly trusting the person who just burned you to ever touch your face again. And while help was offered, I also feel like I was gaslit and made to feel like this happening was somehow my fault. "Your skin just reacted weird to the laser" "this has only ever happened to you". Zero accountability. The fact of the matter is that cold setting was NOT turned on and it should have been. I was burned because of the settings not being correct, NOT my skin just "reacting weird to the laser" because if that was the case why did my skin react perfectly normal when we performed the treatment at Metropolis Dermatology? So now I am left with two scars on my face that I am still trying hard to fade. This has affected my confidence with being on camera which is quite literally my job. This has affected my working relationships with brands because I had to request additional time on deliverables while the burns healed. It has been a deeply frustrating experience. And the worst part of it all is the only area where I feel like this is my fault is by going back to Tiffany in the first place when she caused me severe post inflammatory hyperpigmentation with a laser before when working at Metropolis. That should have been the last time I allowed her anywhere near my skin. If you have any ounce of melanin, I desperately encourage you to consider a different med spa. read more

I brought my mom here a few times and then later came back as a patient myself. We had a lot of sunspots/pigmentation on our faces from sun exposure, so my mom received Picoway and Ultra laser treatments and I had Picoway sessions--both with Tiffany. Overall, both of our experiences were amazing. We never had an issue with parking (there is street parking available but we opted for the parking structure), everyone there is so friendly, and the interior was clean and beautiful. Once we got checked-in, numbing cream was applied to our faces and then we got to relax in the numbing lounge (our favorite) and enjoy snacks and beverages. My anatomy reacts weirdly to Botox, so she walked me through every concern, every possible outcome, and basically gave me an anatomy lesson -- which was honestly super comforting. My favorite part of the experience was the numbing room. They had all my favorite snacks and I met other girls that were also getting treatments while watching Gossip Girl.
