Just wanted to say how thankful I am finding Dr. Rivkin! I had my last rhinoplasty about 10 years ago, two surgeries in total. This office is also super communicative and easily reachable before and after appointments with any questions or concerns I may have. I recently received under eye filler done by Presile Kong and I am so beyond pleased! She was very nice and informative especially being that it was my first time ever receiving filler. I have always struggled with dark and baggy under eyes because of both genetics and poor sleep. It has been a huge insecurity of mine. I came to this clinic because I thought that a specialist who had previously lived in Russia would do a very high-quality job. As a rule, our Russian cosmetologists are the best. In the end, I was "a little" shocked when they told me the price for my complex of procedures. It was $7,500 for filler and Botox. Never in my life have I paid such a huge price. You can buy a car for this money. But at that moment the situation was critical for me, I needed to fill in under my eye to hide the defect. I thought that since the price was so high, the quality would be high. And I decided to take a risk. In the end, I got just some kind of horror. They injected me with much more Botox than necessary. It was obvious that the dosage was excessive, because my forehead just went numb. It became absolutely motionless, like a plastic doll. This is not the first time I have done Botox and I know how it becomes normal. After that, my head hurt for three days. But the main thing I came for was the filler under my eyes. Again, I had done this procedure before and more than once, so I knew perfectly well how it should look. They injected too much filler and injected it too close to the surface. Because after that, my nasolacrimal beard began to look even worse. A bluish tint appeared, which indicates the external conditions of the drug. And my face became puffy, and it looked just awful. Honestly, I went to the clinic for advice. They offered me to come and inject a lipolytic to dissolve the filler, and then inject it again. Surely, they would not even take this money. But my appearance is much better than mine, and I was simply afraid to show up to get an even worse result. What if the doctor does not know how to inject the filler correctly, then what will happen to my face after using lipolytics on it, which can lead to failures? I see that all the reviews about this company are written by people who have one or two reviews on Google maps. Think about it. It's a shame that they wasted time and money, but it's even more of a shame that they ruined my appearance. I still have a problem under my left eye that can't be fixed. Now I only have to have blepharoplasty. I know that I should have at least gotten a refund right away, but I was so upset that I didn't want to come to this situation at all. I hope that those who are looking for quality cosmetic care will read my review and draw the appropriate conclusions. I came to see Dr. Rivkin at Westside Aesthetics after watching countless internet ads and online videos promoting him as a "filler expert." Unfortunately, my experience was the complete opposite of what was promised -- and it has turned into one of the most painful, experiences of my life. On August 5th, I received chin filler and immediately felt sharp pain in my gums, teeth, and jaw that has persisted every single day since. The aesthetic results were minimal, but the nerve pain and tooth sensitivity have been constant and debilitating. When I returned for a follow-up, Dr. Rivkin admitted he'd never seen a reaction like this before, calling it "unprecedented." Despite this, his office refused to issue a refund -- even after I explained that I can't risk further nerve damage by allowing more injections. Instead, they repeatedly pushed me to "come back in" for more procedures, ignoring my clear and repeated pleas that I was in pain and terrified to be injected again. It's now been months of suffering, anxiety, and emotional distress -- and they have just stopped responding entirely. Paying $2500 for a procedure that left me in constant pain and with no benefit is beyond unacceptable. This clinic's advertising promises expertise and safety, but my reality has been pain, nerve damage, and total indifference. They should be ashamed. Beware of the marketing. I'm having trouble expressing how much Dr. Rivkin has changed my life for the better. Many years ago I had a chin implant intra orally, soon after removed, that left me with a scar prominent enough to honestly destroy my self- esteem. Now, most people will say that's an exaggeration and that personality and confidence is what matters, but that scar was all I could see when I looked at myself in the mirror. Some of you will understand, it is that one part of yourself that for no special reason has always been in the way- for some of you it might be your height, for others your stomach, varicose veins, or wrinkles... you name it- for me, it was my chin scar. I searched for doctors over the past 8 years, hoping a laser, a cream, or some sort of magical treatment would at least lessen the visibility of that cursed scar. I went to New York, Beverly Hills, Brazil, and even Korea and NO DOCTOR was able to suggest ANYTHING that could fix it. I tried lasers but they only made it somewhat worse. It was then that I came to Doctor Rivkin. He heard my complaints and agonies in all seriousness and quickly made suggestions, NEVER pushing any treatment. HIS SUGGESTIONS WORKED! I went to Dr. Rivkin for Botox and fillers and was very disappointed. He told me I was being given a large amount of both products, but based on what was actually administered, it was about half of what I was charged for. Unless you work in the medical field, there's no way to know exactly how much you're receiving -- you have to trust your doctor's honesty. Unfortunately, I left feeling misled and overcharged. First and foremost, I was uncomfortable that the business asked me to send my credit card details over text. The communication during scheduling was also disappointing. When I called the business to provide my credit card information , the staff member simply said I had no appointment and the call ended. They did not offer any alternative dates or times or attempt to work with me to find a suitable opening. The abrupt end to the call made me feel dismissed. For a professional service, I would expect at least some courtesy of suggesting other options if my preferred time was not available; instead, I was left without any resolution. The overall booking process seemed confusing and inflexible. The business had me text my preferred appointment times upfront, but then they refused to proceed without texting my credit card information as well. In other words, they would not hold or confirm a time slot unless I sent my payment details through an unsecured channel. This seemed unreasonable to me. My experience was disappointing and concerning due to the payment security risks and poor communication. I respect that businesses may want to secure appointments, but I believe there are safer, more professional ways to do so.
