Made an appointment for a cortisone shot because a friend had recommended this place. I arrived and they saw me for about 5-10 minutes. They deemed that a cortisone shot probably wouldn't really help so that was that. I was done and walked out of the patient room. They still charged me for the full price even though the service was not provided. On top of that the front desk felt very dismissive - wasn't overtly rude, but you could sense the.. "hurry up and just pay and be done with this" vibe. I do understand that they spent a few minutes talking to me and determining the shot was not the solution. I didn't use any of their product or have any actual service done so was surprised I was charged the full rate. But yes, I was told it was for their "time and energy". It's like if I brought my car in for an oil change and the place said your car doesn't need an oil change or we don't have the tools to change this car, but still charge for the full rate of the oil change for the service, parts, and labor. I could understand paying a fraction of the payment just for the appointment I guess, but even then it was very quick. Personally as a business I would hope to genuinely provide value to my clients and treat those 5-10 minutes they talked with me as good will so that it's a good vibe, and you feel grateful and want to come back.. and want to continue referring others for suitable services. After all, it was another friend who referred me there, and now we both don't plan on coming back. read more

She is super informed and catered to all my skin needs with high end products. I cannot say enough good things about the pimple place. I've gone to them for cortisone injections on some really horrible spots i've gotten recently, and have been treated with such care, kindness, and absolutely no judgement. The first time i went in, Elisa was so kind and looped in Priya for a second opinion which i really appreciated. When ive gotten cortisone shots at my regular dermatologist i always felt like they would just stab me with the cortisone shot without hardly looking at the spot and then send me on my way, but elisa and priya took so much care with treating me correctly, and my MASSIVE spot went away within 24 hours. I had the most outstanding experience with Priya Patel, Physician Assistant extraordinaire and her staff at her business, The Pimple Place! She is now my new go-to for all things acne related. While my dermatologist is very competent, I am never able to make an appointment at a moment's notice as he and his staff are often booked out months in advance! Enter Priya and The Pimple Place! As many of you may know, cystic acne is at best unsightly, and at worst incredibly painful and prone to infection while being incredibly slow to resolve on its own. I was able to easily make an appointment online as a new patient on a Sunday to see Priya the following day for a cortisone injection. And voila!! The pain, redness and swelling from my facial cyst went down almost immediately and I'm as good as new! This is an incredible result as many of you who may be familiar with cystic acne - it can last for weeks if left untreated or even worse, if I try and pick at it. I could not have asked for any better outcome! AND, this facility even accepts walk ins for any acne related emergencies. In addition, as a new patient I was thoroughly educated on all kinds of acne prevention and sunscreen options - which I am excitedly exploring. The Pimple Place offers all kinds of additional facial options which I'm excited to try out going forward. There is absolutely no hard upsell which is also a bonus. I really wanted to like this place since everyone was so sweet and great customer service, but I came here to get a cortisone shot only to leave with a bruise in the middle of my place right before my big event. I've gotten several cortisone injections before but have never left with a bruise on my face.
