Transparently, there was a moment I considered switching providers but this was due to a specific nurse practitioner versus the practice. I was switched to a different NP and have been happy. My last visit did uncover an atypical mole plus another to freeze off for precaution. I returned to see Dr. Cassis and had my mole surgically removed. Four stitches and will return for removal. The team took great care of me, from scheduling to having empathy for my fear of the needles and surgery. I received hugs from a couple of people and they didn't make me feel embarrassed. There's plenty of parking near the medical center. Two lobbies - one for basic skin checks and another for services with Dr. Cassis. Take note that calling to make an appointment can take a moment if the team isn't available to answer. It's listed as a core complaint in other reviews and it's not unfounded. The front desk team for skin checks is also fairly business-like but I've not experienced or witnessed rude behavior. I'm okay with that because the appointments run on time and that feels rare with other medical appointments.

And was not seen until 70 minutes after my scheduled time. The reason is not the staff or the provider. It's the scheduler trying to squeeze in too many into the day. Many of the other patients I saw were elderly. They need more time than 15 minutes. Bottom line is the schedule process does not provide the medical care experience that I think AiD leadership would expect. This needs to be fixed.

She has an aggressive nurse who has been incredibly rude and has an arbitrary policy for late arrivals - I can't tell if it's 5 minutes or 10, but I've been in both scenarios and there is no grace period in her mind for a downtown office.
