I have some special needs when it comes to surgery because of a syndrome I have and the dr and staff made sure I was completely safe during and after my surgery. Someone was always a text away during recovery and I was so grateful as I'm a huge perfectionist and worry wart! On June 30th I had a Co2 Fractional Laser. Things started as planned. I read the pros & cons consents.. etc. I remembered Judy telling the Laser tech " go higher around her eyes & upper cheekbone area. So he went from 60 to 90. That struck me as odd considering that this was my first treatment. I figured she knew what she was doing. After the treatment I followed all of the aftercare instructions to the tee!! I was like a damn " vampire"! I started noticing almost immediately these track marks like a waffle iron or grid marks all over my face. Seriously, concentrating on my cheekbones!! Surprise, Surprise! Like a burn!! So, I went back a couple of times not getting anywhere!! Now when I call for an appointment to see just him. I get a phone call from Judy. I feel like my face is worse than before I came to see them!! I've seen 4 plastic surgeons who repeated the same statement " this doesn't look right!" As their eyes are huge!! I can't even leave my house w/ out a full face of makeup!!! I feel like they should have made some effort to fix this other than tell me " I haven't see this happen before " I would under no circumstances put your appearance in their hands YOU will regret it!! Before injecting, Dr. Pham did not ask me to smile or move any facial muscles to evaluate my anatomy. Two weeks later, I have lost movement in the lower right side of my mouth. My speech has also been affected, especially when pronouncing "S" sounds, and it now sounds like I have a speech impediment. I contacted the office and returned to see him after one week. I was told to wait another week and it should get better. Since then no one has followed up, and there has been no improvement. I know there are risks with Botox, but I also know that with an experienced injector, these problems can be avoided. I did not feel my treatment reflected the individualized approach or patient care described on the website. I would not recommend this practice to others seeking careful, attentive cosmetic treatment.
