On June 7th, I brought a friend who was visiting from Washington to get IV therapy with me. We were offered a private room, and the staff was attentive at the start of our visit. However, after our second IV bags were connected, neither of us was checked on again. Both my friend and I fell asleep during treatment. I eventually woke up because I needed to use the restroom and pressed the call button multiple times before someone responded. When the nurse came in, she noticed my IV bag was empty and so was my friends . Once the lights were turned on, I could see a significant amount of blood had backflowed into the tubing approximately 12 inches from my arm. When the IV was disconnected, blood also got onto the pillow beneath my arm. I was told this was "normal" and the situation was laughed off, which left me feeling uneasy. After speaking with a nurse friend, I learned that while the blood backflow itself is generally not harmful, it can happen when an IV bag is allowed to run dry and isn't disconnected promptly. What concerns me most is not the blood in the tubing, but that neither of us was checked on after the second bag was hung. Had I not repeatedly pressed the call button, I'm not sure how much longer we would have been left unattended. I've always had wonderful experiences here, which is why this stood out so much. My hope is that this feedback helps improve monitoring, especially for guests placed in private rooms. A simple check-in and a more professional response would have gone a long way.

I was told as well that my skin would get worst but slowly get better as I had facials. Well it definitely got worst after the first one. Vivella has a cancellation policy where you need to cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. That being said, for my second facial they e-mailed me I believe a day or two before my next appointment to confirm. They then emailed me the night before my appointment to cancel. I didn't see it till the next morning and came to my appointment anyways and waited outside for maybe half an hour before I checked my email. The following time Mary who did my one facial and consolations came late and talked me out of getting a facial. Once again my skin was pretty bad and said I didn't need it. I honestly think she just didn't want to do it. I ended up never coming back and ended up going on acutane, against her advice, and my skin has never looked better (with some scaring still but no acne or redness). Vivella has been very unprofessional in how they handle their clients by forgetting about them and emailing last minute when their clients have to pay a fee to cancel their appointments in advance. Service wise I couldn't really say because I never completed my treatments but unprofessional in how they conduct their business.

I have had injectables done for decades and stopped after covid so it's been a min. I have had them done by a variety of people and this is by far the best experience! I do mean experience from start to finish the appointment process and communication,the paperwork, a professional very educational comprehensive consultation. The procedure was as comfortable as possible practically painless. Even the pricing was reasonable. I went to Skinbeam to receive PRP microneedling treatments for some facial scars. After 3 treatments the deep scars had disappeared. shes probably gonna delete this but supposedly yelp doesn't allow you to delete reviews so i dont…read moreknow.. but dont go here if you're looking for any facial treatments done or anything. this is about my moms experience, i write reviews for her because she is mostly a spanish speaker and doesn't do reviews but this is something i feel like the owner of the business took advantage of. initially, she seemed nice and i thought she could help my mom with her problem but it was actually quite the opposite, dont be fooled. firstly, my mom bought the package and it was pricy. she charged her in full without even doing anything first so theres where it goes wrong. then she gave her a kit or something with the package she bought and it came with expired sunscreen? which is just ridiculous, that alone just says 'i dont care about my customers'. you dont give expired sunscreen to people even if its 'free' or 'expensive' like she claims but its not, my mom basically paid for that. go see for yourself how much that package costs. then, she would only see my mom for her sessions only whenever she was available. that also just says you dont care about your customers/business in my opinion. then, she charged her for everything first and without a bill or anything which is just unprofessional for a business of already 3 years or whatever. and the treatments she did on my mom only damaged her skin. first, she injected vitamin into my moms vein in her arm and that gave her dark bruising. my mom did not take a picture because she thought it was normal. and then since my mom is melanated, she did some kind of laser on her face and it gave my mom white spots on her face. her excuse was that its because my mom is melanated, okay if thats the case then why didnt you say that before doing it on her? not even any warning? then she had the audacity to pressure my mom to leave a review without even finishing all the treatments. this business is just a money grab and she doesnt want to give my mom her money back, every time we would bring it up she wouldnt answer or would say my mom needs to come in for evaluation. we arent dumb lady, we know you just want to cover up your mistakes and gaslight her again. and then saying she signed a 'consent form' now you want to be professional when you didnt even want to provide her a bill? consent forms dont mean anything in cases like this and definitely dont mean you just get to experiment on people then take their money and not want to refund them because they realized youre experimenting on them. thats why we go to school, clearly you were not ready for this. if youre really a kaiser doctor, im not impressed or surprised, ive been to so many kaiser doctors and theyve never helped me with my issues its ironic. the sad part is you get to go on vacation soon and probably used that money to do so then leave my mom hanging. we will be disputing this. you really showed your true colors when my sister called you to call you out and of course you had nothing to say then played victim with my dad saying she 'threatened you'. dont make me laugh, writing a review or disputing is not threatening you, im so sorry if what YOU did makes YOU look bad. take your business somewhere else to someone who is more professional/qualified
