Left botched Brought my mom here as a birthday present since nurse Muna seemed very knowledgeable online, we were recommended to dissolve her current under eye filler then do the Agnes laser treatment to tighten the under eye and fix her under eye bags then do filler again. We dissolved on day one then returned around 3weeks later to do the under eye treatment. On top of waiting around 45 minutes after our appointment time to be seen when we walked in and sat down nurse Muna asked what we were there to do (while she was scrolling on her phone and texting) and didn't know the plan she had recommended us and I had to remind her. after that we sat around for a bit and numbed my moms under eyes then we did the procedure which seemed quite painful for my mom ( she kept wincing and was tearing up at one point and needed a break because it was so painful for her) after we left we were told to use sunscreen and protect her under eyes and stay out of the sun (my mom works nights so she made sure to stay indoors for the next 2 weeks and followed instructions) we were told we might need a second session (each session is 2000$) (but to come back for another one and filler as well) we waited but results never came and my mom was left with deep pits/ scarring under her eyes that made her insecure and made her feel so much worse than she originally did with her normal eye bags . I contacted the nurse who did the treatment and explained and was recommended some creams that I bought immediately to help, she said it looked like just discoloration but you can tell the scars are deep like acne scars, there's depth to them. Was told the creams would take about 6 weeks to fix it, the 6 weeks passed and the scarring is still there. Contacted the nurse again and she basically said my mom was given the same treatment as everyone else and she's just "sensitive" to lasers then recommended we go to someone else to fix it since that's not something she offers. My biggest disappointment was not that I had complications after a cosmetic procedure. Complications can happen with any provider. My issue is how I was treated afterward. It has now been over 5 months since my AGNES and filler procedure, and I am still dealing with ongoing pain, tenderness, swelling, and complications. I reached out repeatedly starting just days after my procedure and continued seeking help for over three months, yet I felt completely dismissed. At my two-month follow-up, I was still in pain, still swollen, and the area remained tender and pink. Instead of properly examining the area, she took photos, spent most of the appointment looking at her phone, and gave short, dismissive responses. I was told I was just "sensitive." When I pointed out the swelling and unevenness under my eye, I was told it was probably fat. When I explained that the area was still tender and pink, I was then told it was probably healing. The explanations constantly changed, but I never felt my concerns were truly heard or investigated. What shocked me most was the complete lack of compassion, accountability, and follow-up care. When a patient tells you they are in pain every day and struggling physically and emotionally, you would expect empathy and a genuine desire to help. Instead, I felt ignored and brushed aside. Because I was not getting answers, I have spent months seeking second opinions, undergoing additional evaluations, imaging, and treatments at my own expense. I have spent a significant amount of money trying to address problems that began immediately after my procedure and are still ongoing today. Aesthetic procedures are easy when everything goes perfectly. The true test of a provider is how they handle complications and patient concerns when things do not go as planned. In my experience, there was a complete lack of support, bedside manner, and responsibility once problems arose. This experience has been physically, emotionally, and financially draining. I had a bad experience there sadly, which is unfortunate because I saw so many raving reviews. I'm not sure why mine went so sour and I'm still paying $200 monthly charges for poor service and not any results. I went to Nurse Muna for under eye bags and chronic cystic acne. I learned about the RF Agnes machine and I was really excited about it. I was surprised that the service got worse and worse (I went in total 3 times). The first time was to dissolve old under eye filler from years and years ago that made my eyes look more puffy. That quick visit / consultation went well so I thought I was in good hands. The 2nd visit, the RF Agnes was really painful. I wasn't numbed for the skin around my mouth (hormonal acne areas such as chin, cheeks around lips) which are very sensitive parts. It was sooo painful and I felt like she was downplaying my feelings about how bad it was. She numbed my under eyes thank god. I walked away feeling a little weird, but I thought maybe it was a fluke and next time I'll ask for numbing beforehand. I thought maybe she was in a rush and I just excused the behavior for some reason. Maybe because I have felt desperate to get rid of my acne and not a lot of other places offer it. She was also texting and not really looking at me or talking to me unless I initiated. It was strange. The 3rd time was the absolute worst. First off, she was fighting on the phone with one of her family members for a good amount of time. It wasn't a quick bickering and a hang up. I sat in the chair uneasy for maybe up to 8 - 10 minutes. I felt so uneasy, but knowing that she was going to put needles into my face I went into a fight / flight response called fawning and tried to console her. I should have just left with hindsight, but the power of really feeling desperate about acne can make you do crazy things. I made it a point to ask for numbing cream. This time she put little dots of it in some places but I noticed she would use the RF machine on spots she didn't do the numbing. When she put the RF maching into my under eye bag and I was announcing too much pain, she just shoved it in harder and said, it's a painful procedure. I feel like it took awhile to process how horrible she was and I didn't even get any significant results. I really regret going there. I am paying monthly for a horrible service still through a payment plan. I tried to contest it through the payment plan company but they said I have to go to her first and I had such a bad experience I am not sure it is worth the energy. I just wanted to warn people to not go there. Hopefully the practice doesn't spin it on me as I have seen them do to other patients with bad experiences in the reviews. By then it was back to square one because by then I had to start all over and she would look at me like what are you saying ?.my entire experience felt very uncomfortable. Then I pointed out the crows feet she added a higher $ amount, but then retracted after she had me frown, she said "it'll be the same price " you just need a little bit," then she went back to texting and then prepped for my injection. At this point I just wanted to get my toxin and leave I felt disrespected. We proceeded with the Botox only to the forehead, and she said she would do one dot by my crows feet. After a bit more conversation I handed her my card and she charged me. I asked for a receipt she said that I would get the invoice sent to my email. I mentioned to her that I keep track of the units for my own knowledge. she didn't tell me how much she was charging per unit she just gave me a quote early before she injected.. It was definitely more than my usual I wasn't opposed to paying her if she had the magic touch & it would make a difference. To summarize she was very distracted. She was very vague and didn't really give me much information other than what I already knew from her post. I was hoping that she personalize and have recommendations and let me know would work for me. I was trying to get her engaged but I was the one trying to pull information from her. The worst was seeing the bill was $200 more. I did reach out via email with no response I then texted her "assistant " she did reply & texted me back saying that Muna told her that she gave me 60 units I've never had more than 40 once I had close to 50 but never 60 in my forehead. She charged $13 a unit . I felt deceived, suckered for paying additional $200 than what she initially quoted me for the forehead only$500+ I would never recommend this to a friend or a loved on. Also, I don't see any exceptional work that makes me look refreshed. I naturally have high eyebrow arch and my left eyebrow is slightly higher than my right. I've never had Botox above the eyebrow arch area ever!! I can fix it with makeup and make it look even,but I've never experienced this Botox botch before? I don't like my overall look. I came to Muna for a last ditch effort to help with my condition, ocular pharyngeal muscular dystrophy that cause my lower lids to droop. she recommended I use filler under my eyes to help lift my lower lid. I was concerned of filler migration, but she guarantee that that wouldn't happen, but the result was quite the opposite, all my filler migrated into my cheeks and she had to reverse the procedure with a enzyme that dissolves filler. I didn't get upset. I told her things happen, she then proceeded to say that I manifested the filler to migrate! That was pretty shocking and sounded crazy and very unprofessional!! when I asked for a partial refund, she said no there is no refund's!! I gave her $1030 For her services I think she could at least give me back what she made off of this procedure and charge me for the filler that was removed anyways, that would be fair. I do not recommend going to somebody that is not going to back their work So I would not recommend going to a nurse, go to a doctor that knows what they are doing and will take responsibility for the work they do.
