But this Walgreens will do everything they can to help you! Even though over the years there's been new employees they are obviously trained very well and so caring. Walgreens should pay more to keep these pharmacy techs who often leave because a higher paying job elsewhere. Finally, if this Walgreens gets closed in the Corporate cutbacks, I have no idea what I would do (the anxiety of finding a new pharmacy is very stressful). Do you really think your public is confined to shopping at one location? And why is it you are so anti-people walking into the store and shopping with you? It just feels like you'd make it easier to reach out to you but every time I've tried, you come back with a message that says survey is no longer accepted or thank you for the feedback, but then they don't give you anywhere to submit it because they're having problems with their website?? ... Don't think they need my business anymore. They're probably happy about that since they are just not engaged with their public. Why make it so hard to actually submit any feedback about the situations you run into trying to use your website, trying to use your coupons and if you don't have a mobile phone, which I happen to, but it's just easier to walk into the store and pick it up, well then you're straight out the gate not gonna actually get anything ...because you can't use any of their coupons in store... from the phone? It has to be ordered on the phone and then picked up in store which makes no sense at all. So I can just take my business elsewhere and that's easy enough for me but imagine if 100,000 people all do that. I wonder if Walgreens would notice then their customer service has slipped a lot since Covid hit?

Every once in a while, these mistakes result in full on catastrophe. I usually color my hair at home. I'm sure there are arguments against it but the outcome is usually quite acceptable. Periodically, however, I'll step to the left or the right and try some random different product off of the drugstore shelf. This usually ends badly and I have yet to learn that lesson. Recently, I threw caution to the wind and bought a product that I'd never used before (at the drug store). I ended up with hair the color of Banana Laffy Taffy. It was pretty awful. A trip to a salon didn't really change much and I'd already surpassed my "emergency hair repair" budget. I stopped in this location to grab some toner and conditioner to repair the damage. The aisles here are narrow and it gets crowded with more than two people shopping for the same items. On the day that I dropped in, someone thought that dragging three small children (one of whom screeched like a pasty little gibbon) was a good idea. So, my shopping trip took a little longer than expected because I had to hang out in another aisle to avoid being immersed in that mess. The staff was superbly informative when I asked for help finding a conditioning mask that would make my hair feel less like straw. I left with everything I needed to put myself back together for less than thirty bucks!

I was very disappointed to learn there was no clearance section and when I asked for a small discount for a kit that was especially damaged, I was told it would still be the full price. I mean I'm buying Christmas presents- the appearance of the package is pretty important to me! I'm not paying full price because you all weren't careful? I'll go to Sephora. The response I got was "well, the staff well purchase that if you don't." Uh, okay. So then I typed into Google "Ulta military discount" and tried showing the cashier they would offer 10% if I had purchased through the website? The cashier we had, who was extremely unenthusiastic, barely looked at us and only said 'well we don't do that here' . She didn't even say 'sorry, I wish we did', she didn't even say Happy Holidays as she handed us our bag AFTER WE SPENT $300! Yep. Someone needs to sing a Christmas carol. Because trying to talk to that cashier was the low point of our day. I should've pressed to speak to the manager but I didn't want to stare at the scowl of this girl anymore. I think I'll buy directly from the makeup website next time and skip this entire shitty experience.

Third time, same, the employee paged the manager, and never picked up. The customer service at this location is horrible. But as of Oct. 2025, they don't understand how to properly fill a prescription or how to read a calendar. My experience has been nothing but failed communication and illiteracy. They have taught me that pharmacists do not have to take the Hippocratic Oath, for they have no sort of critical thinking in the building. Per the "head pharmacist" they are not allowed to refill a prescription on the same day as it expires. Their lack of knowledge of the Gregorian calendar leads them to believe that same-day is early. Any time I have been inside the store, it has been organized and well-stocked. The front desk and standard Walgreens employee have been helpful and kind. The pharmacy however, has been stocked with mindless drones that do not understand the basic human experience and are about as useful as the pope's testicles. Or a 300lb horse jockey. And they provide as much help as a paper spork, Reddit awards, and male nipples. In fact, I would rather have a conversation with famed and disgraced televangelist Billy Henn than try to receive help from any of the members of the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens. Their best advice was telling me to use a different pharmacy. It was the only logical sentence that was spoken to me during our conversation. I was on hold multiple times attempting to speak to someone, only to be met with a pickup and immediate hang up. These pharmacists actively work against their client base. I wouldn't dare call myself a patient bc at that point I might as well call myself a willing participant in the most useless game show a la The Apprentice, of retail pharmacy. The bar of being a pharmacist at this Walgreens must be so low that I could sponsor a McNugget and it may very well beat out the competition of the current staff. (As of October 2025) . All of September was perfect. They ordered and filled the my Rx on time and had no problem. However as of October, someone was hired that contains less of a brain than a head of lettuce. It is a distressing signal that there are people out there that control the medications of others but cannot be bothered to have a thought of their own. What a shame. Edit for context: both my insurance and medical provider approved a refill for today (10/27/25) yet these dumb kids claim that the refill is "early". The pharmacists have no ability to comprehend or understand the task they have been hired to do. They are middlemen that cannot complete a simple task.
