I have been going to the eyes of India having my eyelashes done by Khadija. She is great, and I have loved every set of lashes she put on. However, the last time I went to Eyes of India, Khadija was not there I was told by the lady that sits in the middle chair that she was on vacation I let the lady in the middle chair and do my lashes, her hands stunk and smelled like fish and they were very warm. She kept milking me for more money she put on a very thin line that looked ridiculous and said that is the $25lash. I told her they were not thick enough. she then put on a few more lashes and said that was $30 and they still looked ridiculous so she added more lashes and said it was 35. While paying her she requested I give her a tip I told her not today has she done my lashes beautiful like Khadija does for $30 she could've had the five dollar tip but instead she got milk and me for money I did go back a month later to see if Khadija was back, but she was not. I visit Eyes by India monthly for brow maintenance. They are quick, affordable and always look great! It's almost unheard of to get your brows done for just $10! I will say threading is PAINFUL, but it's over in literally under 5 minutes and they always look great. The interior is pretty shabby but for the low price tag I can overlook it! Friday's tend to be very busy and the wait during the lunch hours can be easily 20 minutes. Go first thing in the morning or after dinner for little to no wait. read more

While in the area a week ago, I took it upon myself to visit this place and get a much needed threading. I got my eyebrows threaded for the first time months ago and fell in love, so this was long overdue. The women who work here are very friendly, much more friendly than some of the other places I have been. The threading is much quicker than the last place I had it done. It was cheap and very convenient. I only wish they offered eyebrow tinting, as my natural brows are incredibly light and the threading job is barely noticeable unless I tint them. No appointments necessary, in and out in less than 10 minutes, definitely my kind of place and I'll be back. read more

I visited this place based on the Yelp reviews. I was very pleased with her skills to shape my brows, thread without over threading, and to not make my experience painful, as some technicians can press too hard and cause scarring - it happened to me before. I was most pleased when she pointed out the thinness of my brows towards the end and that she purposely didn't thread too much in that area in order to not make them look too sparse. That was a big plus for me, as that meant she paid attention (as she should) to my uniqueness and customized my brow threading accordingly. I shall return. read more

Are you a "threading" virgin? Not to worry. I was too until today. I stopped by Eyes by India in Greentree Mall after being directed there by another salon who said that they couldn't fit me in for a brow wax. As I approached Eyes by India the first thing that I noticed was their cool retro look and the very reasonable prices on their sign. Then I realized that this was not a waxing boutique, but rather a threading studio. A quick Google search told me that threading is an ancient hair removal method that is supposed to be safer and less painful than waxing, so I heading into the studio. One Indian woman was working on a customer's facial hair and several customers were waiting. I observed as the employee threaded the other customers and was extremely impressed by her expertise in brow shapes. She didn't rush and took time to explain to one customer why her hair type would not allow for a particular arch shape. Then I got into the chair and explained what I wanted from my eyebrows before she went to work on them. Tears filled my eyes as she threaded them because it was the most painful hair removal experience I have ever had. If felt like I was having my skin cut off of my face with a razor blade. The woman who was doing the threading assured me that it was only that painful because it was my first time. Luckily the experience was quick and the outcome was decent. However, later I noticed some stray hairs on my right brow that I'll have to pluck out on my own. I think waxing will still be my first choice for hair removal, but in a pinch I wouldn't hesitate to return to Eyes by India. read more

So this place is amazing! They always make my eyebrows on point! They're also very cheap as far as eyebrows go. It cost me about nine dollars to get my eyebrows threaded and I have to go in about every 6 to 9 weeks. The threading takes out the eyebrow from the root just like tweezing so the hair doesn't grow back as fast as if you were to get your eyebrows waxed. I love this new method of hair removal because my eyebrows and skin are really sensitive to different types of waxes. I love this place and will continue going there as long as they are in business! read more

Do not come here. The lashes they advertise are just adrel cluster lashes you can buy at Walgreens for cheaper and apply yourself. The Ardel lashes are meant to be warn for a few hours, NEVER slept in and never kept on for "8-10" days. The woman had me keep my eyes open the entire time causing the glue fumes to burn my eyes, I thought she was going to poke my eye out with her tweezers. She didn't wear gloves and was incredibly rude and seemed annoyed when my eyes couldn't stop watering and became irritated. She was talking on her phone the entire time which made me even more nervous because once again she had tweezers in my eyes!! When I left one of my eyes was glued shut to a bottom lash, my eyes are irritated and heavy. I can barely keep them open. I don't know what kind of glue they used but I can't get it off. I have been going to Eyes by India for easily 7 years by now. I have very thick unruly eyebrows and used to get them waxed noticing that every time I got them waxed more and more hair was taken away leaving me with little eyebrows (keep in mind I normally have pretty thick eyebrows in general). I go here every 2 weeks and get my eyebrows done and she does an amazing job EVERY TIME. I get compliments on my eyebrows alllll the time!!!! She got my eyebrows from barely anything to so perfect I even get asked if I "draw" my eyebrows on quite often. Since I found out about this place after they opened I decided to linger in and see what it was all about. Its been right after they opened. I was really skeptical at first as my eyes are very sensitive and I usually almost always cry when I am getting them waxed. Lol. My cousin-in-law laughs at me when she does them and jerks the paper off. Although this is not the best feeling in the world and there is some discomfort, the more you do it the less painful it is. Fast, relatively painless hair removal. I've got a lotta hair to contend with, and these ladies get it done right. I have to get my brows done about every two weeks or people start thinking I'm a wookie. I do have to do the full face when I'm feeling furry. I have to say that some of these ladies are gentler than others, but that may have more to do with what's getting done than who's doing it! The lip hurts pretty good, and several spots on the cheekbone do too. No worse than waxing, though. I don't complain about it. If you want to look good, you have to deal with some discomforts. That's just how it is. I'm not going to go out as the bearded lady, so I'll be going back again soon! read more

I got eyelash extensions for $30, so far they have been on for 2 days and I haven't had any issue with them. They were quick and very polite. The place was nicer than I had expected. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because I was expecting a different kind of extension and I couldn't figure out what they had since their website isn't currently working. I went to have my adhesive eyelashes put on for my dance performance. I have been here multiple times and they've looked great. I went in tonight and it was a disaster. There was black glue all around my eyes and face. I removed the eyelashes and quickly left. I would not recommend going here to get your lashes done, it is not reliable. read more

I went here to experience a cheap eyelash extension experience. I was not able to pay the higher price that most high-end salons offer for them, so I opted for the more affordable price that this place offered. I've learned that you definitely get what you pay for. If done correctly, the eyelash extensions should be attached to EACH individual natural lash, and not attached to three or more natural lashes. If done improperly and applied with too much adhesive glue, your natural lashes won't have room to grow and they could become damaged and fall out. The eyelash extensions were improperly applied here, which is understandable for the $20-$30 that you pay. If you want eyelash extensions, don't go for cheap ones because chances are you'll damage your real lashes. Paying extra for a good experience and lasting extensions at high-end salons is what you should do. I'm not saying that the other services offered here are bad, but they are not properly trained to apply lashes and if that's what you're looking for you should go somewhere else. read more
