Not a bad place for a meal, but a little pricey for what it is. $35 for a steak sandwich with fries and a drink (non alcoholic). Service is good and the restaurant has a lot of open seating. We hit up Indigo Alehouse for Mother's Day brunch and were pleasantly surprised to find they opened early just for the occasion, major points for making sure no one had to stand around hangry. We snagged a cute table by the window and were off to a solid start. The brunch menu had a fun Mexican twist, which felt fresh and unexpected. I went for the "eggsadilla" (yep, a quesadilla packed with eggs... it's as awesome as it sounds) and the breakfast potatoes were next-level good. Crispy, salty, perfect. We all treated ourselves to coffee cocktails which were dangerously tasty and just what brunch dreams are made of. Only hiccup? There were four of us but just one menu for the whole table. Cue the awkward passing and peeking over shoulders. And while our waitress was super sweet, the vibe shifted about 45 minutes in, suddenly we were getting a lot of attention. Like, "please wrap it up" levels of attention. We'd only been there an hour, but it felt like the brunch version of last call. Nothing extra festive for Mother's Day itself; no decor or specials, but the food was delicious, the place was buzzing, and I'm glad we picked it. A good HH spot. I went on a weeknight and the restaurant was steady. The entire restaurant has HH from 3-6pm and 9-11pm and not just the bar area, which is a plus. Theres a bunch of items on the HH menu to choose from. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and margarita on HH. We also ordered a side of fries, the fried chicken sandwich and the country fried chicken with gravy, mash potatoes and green beans. Everything came out hot. Food was good. We also ordered the buttered cake. Came out extra hot and was topped with whipped cream. It was only missing the vanilla icecream to give that balance. The service was fantastic. I've been here a few times over the years, but when I visited in May I tried something new-- the Caesar salad with steak. Oh. My. Word! That was a life changing steak. It was cooked to perfection (I tried it rare for the first time, I'm normally a medium-rare fan). Perfect balance of meat to salad and the peppers and tortilla strips were an excellent addition! This is a solid 3.75 restaurant! We got the jambalaya pasta, special Mac, and jerk tacos, plus wine. The Mac, surprisingly was the best dish! Great flavors. Different, but it was very good. The jerk tacos were okay. The meat was tender and the pickle toppings complemented it well, but the flavor did not taste like jerk. I would've liked it more if they called it something else. The jambalaya was also OK- least favorite. The flavors were good, but the sauce was a little too runny, and the chicken was overcooked and a little rubbery. Probably wouldn't order it again. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant. I love the aesthetic of the place. The lighting and vibe are very relaxing and comfortable, and the staff is kind and attentive. They also have a really great happy hour that you can't really beat, which is what I usually come for! read more

The Indigo calls itself a neighborhood restaurant, but I'd add that it is a 'fancy' neighborhood joint. What you immediately feel is the upbeat and welcoming vibe. Was guested last night for dinner by a thoughtful friend and family member following an unhappy event that day. Upon entering the restaurant, it was evident that the near full house was having a great time dining and socializing. Almost every table had multiple cocktails as well as starters. We found a perfect table for two and were immediately greeted by our server. Wish I had gotten his name to recommend him for his exemplary service. A genuinely nice person with a kind and comfortable service demeanor. He preempted our every need from start to finish. Since I was the guest and not paying the tab, I don't know the gratuity that left for him, but I hope it was generous. My host had the grilled schrimp salad. I had Momma's Meatloaf Dinner, a generous and satisfying meal, well seasoned and really enjoyed. This is a near perfect restaurant. Prices are fair, service is tops, food is enjoyable. I have been out at several restaurants in the last couple of weeks and had horrible service I mean horrible, I went with two of my friends on Thursday night And we are the best service we've had well at any restaurant because Brian was absolutely amazing. While in town visiting my boyfriend's dad, he recommended we try Indigo for dinner. We visited on a Saturday around 5pm, and it was definitely busy, but we were sat very quickly at a booth. Our server quickly greeted us and welcomed us in. We started off with chips and salsa because his dad swears by the salsa! I have to agree, their salsa is not only fresh, but well balanced in flavor (not spicy). We ordered the cranberry lemon drop which was absolutely delicious (I wanted another!) For dinner, I ordered their blackened chicken and substituted chimichurri cauliflower for rice pilaf. I also added a side of jerk sauce for the chicken, and although those two components are a strange combo, I wanted to make sure I tried them both! Drinks came out quickly and the food just took a little longer ...which was understandable given the high volume of guests. The chicken was good, but felt a little on the drier side. Jerk sauce was delicious, and the chimichurri cauliflower was very good. The green beans has a soy flavor which I loved! Would I order that again? Probably not, but I think if I would have gone with my first pick, I would have been very happy. The prices were VERY affordable where we all got a meal, 3 adult beverages total, and chips/salsa for about $70. I'm used to dropping at least $150 for a party of 3, so this was an awesome surprise. We were looking for a place to go out to dinner that had a lot of different options. My in laws had been to Indigo before and recommended it so we called in advance to see if we could get a table for 6 on a Thursday night. They couldn't take a reservation but recommended coming in and they would see what they could do. It's inside a really large strip mall with some other stores and a Fred Meyer. There was plenty of parking and we were able to find a spot nearby. We arrived around 5:55 and they had a high top table in the bar, since we were all adults we took the table and were seated right away. The waitress came over immediately and asked if we wanted to put an order in since we still had a few minutes left for happy hour. They have a pretty extensive happy hour list so we all ordered drinks and then opted for the nachos, coconut shrimp, and beet salad. The nachos were HUGE!! Everyone at the table was able to have plenty, the beet salad was less to be desired, but the coconut shrimp was good. We all ordered different entrees - pasta, salads, tacos, fried chicken. All plates were really big and we were all able to bring home to go boxes! If you're looking for a place where the meals appeal to lots of people - this is the place! We stopped by for an early dinner. Liked that they have a good sound system that doesn't blare so that you can hold a conversation at dinner. The happy hour fish and chips were good and filling. The meatloaf had good flavor, but had a rubbery texture that became tiresome. The serving size was immense. The green beans served with it were doused in a soy sauce, which did not complement the meat, so was left uneaten. We substituted grits for mashed potatoes and were disappointed in the quality. We shared the brownie and ice cream for dessert and it was very good. Overall, a mixed food experience, but we will return and try again. read more

They have a large menu (something for everyone), friendly staff, and good ambiance. They are also family friendly so taking the kids has never been a problem. It's been a while since we visited Indigo, and boy, we were in for a treat. I think I had forgotten how good the food was. I think we tried snout 7-8 items on the menu, and let me tell you we ordered for seconds as well.. we were probably really hungry.. lol. But on a serious level, they were able to seat us in really quick. Service was fast, and the staff was very attentive. I love the dim lighting but mostly enjoyed the outdoor fire on the patio. I shared a bowl (a heaping soup bowl btw) of chips & guacamole, a strawberry margarita on the rocks, and salmon tacos. The salmon definitely needed a bit more salt & salsa verde for extra flavor. My fiancé and I came here recently for happy hour. They have a massive happy hour menu that goes from 4-6. We got there about 515 and the place was busy but we didn't have a wait for a table. We ordered chips and salsa and then a bunch of stuff off the happy hour menu. We also got margaritas which were on happy hour. We got the spicy pork belly tacos, artichoke dip, fish and chips, and the pork sandwich. The portions were big and it was way too much food for us. Nothing was spectacular but everything we got was pretty good. The artichoke dip was lacking garlic and seasoning but packed with tons of artichoke. I also really liked the pita bread it came with. The pulled pork sandwich was a bit too sweet for me but their fries were really good. The fish and chips came with 2 pieces of fish and my fiancé enjoyed them. The spicy pork belly tacos were also tasty but very messy to eat. Our waitress was fantastic and made sure to keep checking on us without being annoying. We will probably be back to try some more of their happy hour menu. read more
