    Country eggs Benedict

The eggs Benedict were tasty but WAY too little gravy. Flavor was quite good. Potatoes were very good. My friend had the crepes which were very tasty. Service was excellent.

Such a cute cafe. Love the decor. Long wait time on the weekends & no reservations. They also have a policy where they do not seat your party until everyone is there. Now that makes sense if the majority of your party is there but if just one person is missing and you've got five other people I really feel like they should seat you. Unfortunately, we didn't know this and one of our party members was quite late so we had to stand outside in the cold for a really long time waiting. We did eventually move in, but it was very crowded and we were kind of in the way. Service was good and the food was good as well They have a pretty extensive menu. I had the Nutella strawberry and banana crêpe. It was good and I like the fact that you cannot get crêpes everywhere. Next time I might try out the French toast or the eggs Benedict. They were also able to split the check which was great and very helpful for having a big party. I would definitely come back and also want to check out some other other locations

This is my favorite brunch restaurant, I go there to work, to relax, to socialize. I love the environment and above all the food and coffee. My favorite fiesta skillets and California Benedict ;) Definitely you should give it a try.

I've been coming to this location for years and always enjoy the variety of brunch items they offer. This time, I visited around 11 AM on a Monday. It's a popular spot, so we waited about 5 minutes for a table. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they had expanded their seating area. The staff, as always, were friendly and efficient in serving our food. We appreciated the choice of sides and the generous portions of our scramblers. The restaurant was nicely decorated with Halloween themes. I'll definitely be back -- this is one of the best brunch spots in the area, in my opinion. Parking is easy since there's a parking lot.

Rusty Pelicans is the classic brunch place in town. Been to the Edmonds location many times, but this one is much closer. We went early and was able to snag a 4-top without a wait. The place was packed, but we knew what we wanted. 1) Fiesta skillet with soft poached egg. This was really good once you load up the hot sauce. Only wish I had some avocado to go with it. 2) two eggs any style with bacon. I really think this place has one of the best bacon around town. Don't want to skip on this! 3) Strawberry and banana crepe. We ordered the half size and it was huge. However the kitchen kept messing up the order. Asked for tropical sauce on the side, but they covered it with the tropical sauce and gave the Nutella on the side. After it was remade, it came with no sauce, no whipped cream. Did not turn out to be enjoyable. Their lemon curd crepe was good in the past so our 10-year old had hopes for this and it was disappointing. 4) kids 1-egg breakfast. Solid and satisfying, My son asked for bacon, but got a sausage link instead, One thing to note is they do not have hash browns. More like lightly seared potatoes.,..hit or miss if they are crispy. If you are expecting hot/crispy potato then be warned you are at the wrong place. If you want a solid breakfast/brunch spot, this is the place. Overall, I will come back and hopefully it will go more smoothly then

    Crab beni

Recently stopped for breakfast with family. The resturant is spacious with a friendly vibe. The food was good. Had the crab Benedict. I would say the crab was a little bland. The rest of the dish was amazing. The best part of this restaurant is the staff. They where amazing. My kid didn't like her crepes and they where happy to replace with something else. Super friendly and helpful.

I know that yelp says they don't remove reviews, but I am 100% positive that I've left a five star review for Rusty pelican before. I remember writing it after I found out that they roasted their own coffee beans. Does anybody else have that problem? I noticed a review I wrote for a hotel has also been removed Anyhow, I had to get out of my house due to some remodeling going on, so I decided to take myself to lunch. I ended up at Rusty pelican and I am so glad I did. The chicken souvlaki was amazing. It was tender, flavorful, healthy, and it came with a Greek salad that was absolutely delicious. It was exactly what I was in the mood for and the serving was big enough that I could've easily shared it or made it dinner instead of lunch. Service was impeccable from the host to the girl who poured my water, to my server- I wish I got names, but honestly, everyone there was absolutely fantastic. I love that everything is made from scratch, too. It's a family run business and the kindest people. Exactly who you want to support.

I ordered egg benedict and french toast. Staff checked on our table to make sure we have all we need. Very nice service.

    Cran-Marnier mimosa
    Dan D.

A perfectly fine breakfast spot with food that won't ruin, or make, your day. The worst thing you could say about Rusty Pelican is that the food is not elevated. We went for a Sunday brunch and the dining room was perhaps 75% full. We got seated right away. When the cran-Marnier mimosa came out, my eyes told me it was made with fake juice and it was undermixed. Upon tasting it, it was all those things, but it nevertheless tasted inoffensive. On the other hand, I'd avoid the homemade buttered rum - way too rich as served; basically required me to mix in all the whipped cream to get it close to drinkable. I was far happier with the garden skillet: Eggs, potatoes, veggies, and a dense, moist biscuit. This was just hearty.

We came in for lunch about 1:30p and usually the service is prompt, friendly, and helpful but today even though we were seated quickly, it took quite a while for someone to bring water or check in at all. We asked the person who brought water what the soup of the day was and she said as she walked away "I don't know I'm not a server, they'll be with you soon." Even if you're not a server it seems like knowing the soup of the day would be something helpful to be aware of; it was lentil by the way. The ambience is classy casual with black and white decor. This was the first time I ordered hot chocolate (usually coffee for me) and it was good but it tasted exactly like Swiss Miss Marshmallow mix, complete with the tiny marshmallow floaty bits. I just expected a higher caliber of quality considering that of their other offerings and prices. The potato pancakes are exactly that, fried hash browns and they're perfect. The half sandwich and salad combo seemed a bit on the thin side, it left us feeling a bit flat and desiring.

Wow! Awesome brunch spot after church on Sunday. There were so many things on the menu I wanted to order but alas I could only choose one. We are from out of state so I won't be able to try more. The French Toast was the bomb. Servers were fantastic and on top of everything. If I get back again I want to try the Gyro. Thanks!

My favorite :) Hot chocolate with cinnamon cookie.

I love the vibe and decoration here. It feels good. I think that is one of the reason I keep coming. For drink, I love their hot chocolate with the cinnamon cookie. The service is amazing. Every staff that passed by, they were courteous and asked if I need something to refill or simply check on me. (It's not like most places, only the assign server who would help). Thanks for the wonderful service. You guys worked as a team. The only downside for me is the price. Expensive. Wish it's not that expensive.

Great spot for brunch. I like how tastefully appointed the decor is. My young daughter repeatedly requests to go here for dates with me because the servers are always so kind to her. Seating capacity is generous now that they have expanded the restaurant into the adjacent space, making the ambiance more relaxed. The price is a tad steep, but the food quality rocks.

I tried the croissant french toast, which was delicious although a tad too buttery for my tastes. It wasn't too sweet and the texture was good (not mushy, more crispy on the outside and bread-like though I wouldn't say it was fluffy either), and since it wasn't too sweet I did get to try their maple syrup, which was a great pairing. Very odd, but I did also order scrambled egg whites on the side which were not something I expected to stand out to me! But they were delicious! I also added some breakfast sausages but they were a bit sweet and I probably wouldn't order them again. The vegan coffee cake was alright, but they topped it with cream cheese which I don't like, so I just had to pick out the bread from the bottom. It totally doesn't taste vegan at all though, so this is definitely a great choice for vegans!

We got the Cuban pork hash, ham hash (from the specials menu), corned beef hash, and breakfast burrito. The potatoes were unique because they were neither crispy but they weren't mushy either and very nicely fluffy inside. Also very well seasoned! The eggs were perfectly done and oozy, the hollandaise sauce was light, more so added for extra creaminess. I'm not usually the biggest fan of hollandaise sauce as I find it sometimes too heavy but this was less rich which was nice. The breakfast burrito was tasty, nice amount of filling. I enjoyed the cubes of ham and how it wasn't overly salty. Definitely eat with hot sauce and some black pepper. I think it would get a little mundane if you were to eat the whole thing yourself but it's not bad. The banana bread donut isn't really a donut. More so a banana bread Bundt cake. It was nice, slightly sweet with what tasted like whipped browned butter.
