Great for steaks. I've been to Agio numerous times and consistently very good. Stopped in on a Wednesday for specials and thoroughly pleased. $5 wines plus a number of appetizers and excellent small plates. The mussels are very good so don't pass on a large order. They also have a nice charcuterie board for $11. The meatballs are also good. After sampling appetizers we split a Teres major steak from the specials menu. Outstanding cut cooked perfectly rare on request. We've dined here a few times and they have an excellent an skirt steak with chimichurri, a nice Denver cut in addition to other steak cuts. Great breakfast as well. Must try if you haven't.

Don't let this place being attached to a hotel scare you away. They have a very nice dinning area with a full bar. Plenty of seating options. And clean and crisp. The staff was very polite and quick. The food was solid and you get a fair amount for a helping. The lasagna was fabulous. The garlic bread was good and the braised pork was solid. If you're in the area this is a good Italian restaurant. Well worth our stop.

Good food, clean restaurant and clean kitchen with employees dressed appropriately. Glad to know they're doing 3 meals a day; it is a hotel restaurant

So this used to be our layover spot when we traveled back and forth to NC but once the Millhouse left it went way down hill. Now they are Agio Italian and steak and the hotel is a Double Tree not a Holiday Inn anymore. Many changes! Walked right in and got a table. Refreshed atmosphere with more tables and no booths. Nice. Looking over the menu they have the Italian standard pastas and some nice steaks and chops. We started with the stuffed mushrooms. Sausage was delicious. Mushrooms a little mushy but really good with the marinara. We also got some bread. Ypu have to pay for it but it was garlic and came with more marinara. Nice and toasty. For my main I got the pesto pasta with blackened chicken. Very tasty! Chicken cooked nice but half of one of them had a little freezer burn texture. But overall very good. Deb got the piccata with chicken scaloppini. Very nice. Lots of chick in both dishes. Loved the capers and artichokes. Service was quick. Kate our server was so nice and friendly. Very efficient. Food was worth the price and you get a good portion. . We just might start making this our go to again.

We went for lunch and all three of us had pasta. I had the Fettachini Afredo with grilled chicken. My wife had Lemon Picatta, and our friend had Afredo with grilled shrimp. We all had Tiramisu for dessert. Everything was delicious. Our waittress Stephanie was great. Our total check was right at $100. We found that pretty high for a restaurant that did not even serve any kind of bread with their meals. There was a full bar but nobody was there.

    Brussel sprouts. Awesome!

Driving down the road looking for a decent lunch. Agio was it! Great food, great service, fairly laid back. We greatly enjoyed it! Grilled salmon on salad, Brussel sprouts, and mussels.

The service was great, but the atmosphere was probably more casual than expected. Given that, the food was quite good.

As the night went on, it became clear that the issue was not simply the kitchen or the restaurant being busy--it was our waitress. She was extremely unfocused, was not properly attending to her tables, and apparently was refusing or failing to run food for her own tables when it was ready. Meanwhile, we were left sitting there wondering why everyone around us was being served. What made it even more frustrating was that instead of taking accountability, she repeatedly blamed other members of the staff for mistakes and delays. After waiting almost two hours, some of our orders STILL came out incorrectly. At one point, the experience was so noticeably different from the service other tables were receiving that we genuinely questioned whether we were being treated differently for another reason. Finding out that the real problem was our server's handling of her tables does not make the experience any more acceptable. Other employees actually stepped in and tried to help correct a situation they did not create, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, one server's lack of attentiveness, urgency, and accountability completely ruined the experience. Waiting nearly two hours for incorrect food while watching tables seated after us get served first is unacceptable. Mistakes happen, restaurants get busy, and I understand that--but neglecting your tables and then blaming your coworkers instead of taking responsibility is something entirely different. Management seriously needs to address this because no customer should have an experience like this.

Maybe they only take reservations by phone, even though it is 2026, but it should say something to that effect on their website. It was evident they preferred reservations and said they were packed but there were plenty of tables unseated. The table we were seated at, was very wobbly. Which is an annoying thing that is easily fixed. I will say that the bread and the marinated saladswere both very good and our baked potatoes were perfect but that's where it ends. My son got the filet and my husband got the ribeye. They both ordered medium rare but both were well done and chewy. We did not say anything to our waitress or complain bc we are just not those kind people but it was disappointing to say the least. A steak place that has been in business for as long a they have should have perfected their steaks, I got the grilled chicken and when it came, I thought they had brought me fried chicken by mistake. I was expecting a grilled chicken breast (my mistake for assuming) but it was 4 pieces of what appeared to be smoked chicken on the bone. They were pretty tasty but felt like something I would get at a bbq restaurant, not a steak house. Needless to say, we will not be back.

Ate several meals at this sit down restaurant located at the Sea Palm resort during a recent visit…read more Upon checking in, my wife and I went to the bar for a beer and a margarita with some beer cheese bites. The margarita was from a slushee machine and the bartender gave it to us for free bc it was too thin - my wife did not complain about it. I opted for a Micehlob Ultra and a Centralia (local on tap). The bartender recommended the beer cheese pretzel bites and they were amazing, I could have ate the cheese with a spoon it was so good. We also had Saturday breakfast and Sunday brunch at the sit down restaurant in the clubhouse check-in area. Those are the only days they serve breakfast. Most tables seat 2 or 4 persons but can moved to accommodate larger parties. There is also inside or outside seating. For Saturday breakfast, I had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, toast, fresh fruit and Gouda cheese grits. The grits were the star of the show. They are amazing. Coffee is self serve, if you want a ceramic coffee cup, you need to ask a server bc they are paper cups otherwise. Brunch was a bit more pricy than Saturday breakfast ($30 per person and $3.50 per beverage) but it was well stocked with an omelet station, waffle bar, the amazing grits with toppings, sausage and gravy and breakfast meats. They also offered fried catfish and chicken, collared greens, zucchini casserole, a salad bar, charcuterie and desserts. It was a large, filling meal. Faves were fried chicken and the grits. I think they make their dressing in house (they had balsamic and ranch). Good option for on property dining, especially when you can use your Hilton resort credit.
