Can't even see the burger it's so small.
    Kimberly S.

Soooo disappointed!! Saw this on Drive Ins, Diners and Dives. I ordered The Pueblo Farmer and my husband got The Hangover. My bun was cold like from the refrigerator. The burger was so small the bun overpowered it. You couldn't really taste the flavors that it was topped with. Ended up taking the bun off and eating it. Just okay.

Burger with no mayo, no pickles, wrong bun.

I sent my burger back twice for being incorrect. The third time I gave up and trashed it.

We took the whole herd to The Skirted Heifer on a Sunday afternoon, and let's just say... I now fully understand the name. One look at that cheese-skirted masterpiece my kids ordered and I audibly said "ohhhhhh THAT'S the heifer." It's not just a burger--it's a dairy-draped experience. I ventured out and got the Hot Goat (burger of the week). Loved the creamy goat cheese--generous slather--but couldn't taste the hot honey at all. Not even a whisper. Sad for my sweet-heat loving soul. Hubby went full Guy Fieri and got the Hangover burger (as featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives) and he fell in greasy, yolky, cheesy love. Zero regrets. I think he saw a glimpse of the afterlife mid-bite. Fries? We tried both--Belgian and sweet potato. The Belgian seemed like classic fries (not complaining!), but the sweet potato stole the show. Bonus points for the help-yourself sauce station--ranch, ketchup, and that magical Heifer Sauce. Bless. Fountain drink game was strong--cane sugar sodas (some local-ish brand I can't remember but would recognize in a soda lineup). Despite the Sunday crowd, service was shockingly quick. Like "wait... that's ours already?" fast. Everything was super clean, and the industrial patio vibe was perfect for inhaling fries in the sun. Would I come back? Absolutely. Would I ask for extra hot honey next time? Also yes. The Heifer's got some serious burger chops--and she knows it.

Still delicious as always. Sweet potatoes were on point with the nice crisp...and can't go wrong with their dipping sauces. The burger still taste great. Get plenty of napkins because it can get messy real quick!

Stopped into Skirted Heifer and tried their grass-fed Skirted Heifer burger with pickles and grilled onions. The beef was top-notch -- great flavor and seasoned perfectly. The signature cheese "skirt" definitely lives up to the name, spilling out the sides in a crispy, golden layer. For me, it was a bit too much cheese, but still tasty overall. My daughter had the kids cheeseburger and enjoyed it. Fries were crispy and well done, and all the toppings tasted super fresh and high quality. It's clear they care about the ingredients. One of the unexpected highlights was the soda -- I had the birch beer, which reminded me of an extra-smooth root beer. I can't remember the brand, but it was excellent. The only downside for me was how greasy the burger got from all that cheese, which kept it from being a perfect 5. I'd probably give it a 3.8 if I could, but rounding up for Yelp. Definitely a solid stop for burger lovers!

    #5 The B & B with sweet potato fries

We felt like eating a good burger so we decided to stop at the Skirted Heifer. The service was so so, they were busy, but they seemed rushed. This was weird, because when I went to order, the young lady barely looked up and didn't greet me. She took my order, but didn't do anything to assist through the ordering process, she didn't say anything at all other than repeating my families order. I decided on the #5 B and B with sweet potato fries. I was eating the burger and about half way through, my stomach started to hurt. It could have been a combination of the blue cheese, bacon, and the burger, but it didn't sit well with my stomach. I cut the burger in half prior to eating, which after eating half the burger, it was a good stopping point. I ended up throwing the rest of it away (which I hate wasting food). The bright spot of the meal was the sweet potato fries. I normally don't like sweet potato fries, but the Skirted Heifer has the best sweet potato fries. They have a nice crisp and favor is light so you can taste the batter and the sweet potato. I've been to two Skirted Heifer locations in Colorado Springs and I will most likely not return unless options are very limited

Overall a solid burger that was a lot bigger then it seemed. Got the classic skirted which was really good only downfall was the bottom bun was burnt black but luckily everything else on the burger was fantastic. Really like the fries to include the sweet potato fries. Staff was also personable and friendly. Will absolutely return and recommend !!

Every time my husband and I entertain guests from out of town we bring them here. Everyone should experience the cheese skirt especially if it's your first time. The staff is always friendly. The burgers are always cooked perfectly nice and juicy. I love that they have specials in case you want to try something different. Also pro-tip get the half n half fries. Half regular, half sweet potato! The best! This location also has some outdoor seating so you can enjoy the sun!

Notice how the meal #'s carry the impression that fries are included in what you are ordering.

First, let me say, I didn't fully read the details when creating a pick-up order. Thats on me, but the deceptive images etc.. from their menu are well, wrong to say the least. Recently ordered 4 burgers, one of which was a kids burger. Got 3 drinks.. Total cost was almost $70 and when we got the order home, the only one that had fries was the kids meal. But had we added fries, the meal for 4 would have been almost $90. Ridiculous... The images in the ordering app for the burgers are all images with a burger and fries. simple right, nope, they charge extra for the fries even after making it "seem" like the fries are included. Oh well fool me once, never fool me again. $70 for a less than average burger, with no fries for 4.... Never again.

No server in sight for a bit, but turns out our lone waitress was covering what appeared to be the entire Western Hemisphere. Seriously, the woman was a machine. Respect. Management, though... maybe try tag-teaming the floor next time? Hand out a menu? Bust a table? Throw a pretzel at someone? Help a girl out. Also, let's talk about the fact that this is a brewery and they were out of like a third of their beers. My top pick? Gone. My second pick? DELICIOUS. Still, how does a brewery run out of beer? Did a bachelor party come through like a tornado? Blink twice if you need hops. BUT. The food? Absolute royalty. Club sandwich? Massive and had a spicy little attitude. Jalapeño burger? Dripping with joy. Pepperoni pizza? So big we considered naming it and claiming it on our taxes. And the fries? Crispy, golden sticks of happiness. Daughter inhaled her traditional burger like she was being timed. Cool pub vibe, and once the service did kick in, it was genuinely awesome. We're chalking this up to an off night staffing-wise and giving Rock Bottom one more shot--because food this good deserves a rematch!!

I never knew a little fresh arugula and jalapeño on avo toast was the thing missing in my life? The rest of our group had various standard menu items, but no one complained at all! The mimosa flight for $18 was 3 full size mimosas with various juices of choice and we all felt great after those! Our only group complaint was the wait...one member of our party got us on the wait list 25 mins before we arrived (they need an online system for waitlist like Snooze), and were told another 20-ish minutes to be seated upon checking in. We waited and waited and waited...but, we had a party of 5, and only two tables in the entire dining area can accommodate over 4. When we were finally seated, over 65-70 mins after getting on the waitlist, we overheard someone at the bar (who was supposedly the owner) saying another large party, who arrived after us, should have been seated first! It was shocking, we waited in our cars for an hour and I went in to check when our table was getting ready, as there was zero room for our group to wait inside. We weren't a last minute walk-in, lingering outside in the cold. This is where an online waitlist that shows people table sizes and wait times would be much more efficient, and not have staff whispering behind customer's backs. The food and service were so good, our bartender/waitress girl rocked everything! My daughter's sweet potato fries were the best I have ever tasted!
