    Fried chicken

Went here because I've been soooo curious so why not. Walked in & were greeted & seated immediate my 2 favorite things! We had a great server Kaia- she took really good care of us. We ordered the triple dipper & it was not at all good. Salsa wasn't tasty & tasted artificial , guac wasn't guac but rather avocado with some "pico" on top & not seasoned & the queso wasn't at all warm it was hard as a rock. Kaia fixed the queso & the rest was just ‍ For food we had fried chicken & fish n chips. It was good. But overall our favorite part was the service. So thank you Kaia.

The carrot cake is pretty amazing but the food is lacking. I had the nachos and they just seemed dry, the cheese for the pretzels was thick and should have been warmer and creamier. My best friend had the French dip and she said it wasn't that great as well. The service was fast though and it wasn't busy on Wednesday evening.

I have been to this particular establishment in the past. I don't frequent it often only because I am not on that side of town. I was excited after going to the movies and us making the decision to go for dinner since in the past it's been very good! I will say most of the food was good. Me and my mom shared the Club sandwich which is usually a triple decker sandwich right? No it was literally two slices of regular toast with minimal inside ingredients. It was very disappointing. We shared tots and onion rings with cilantro ranch which was very good! My son got the macaroni and cheese with chicken and it was good! And we also got the fish and chips! Which was also good. It's a fun atmosphere and probably more going on in the bar area verses the dining area. It was pretty sparse. Our server was in training but I felt he was attentive and friendly!

We initially wanted to dine at Tucanos next door, but the wait was 2 hours for a party of 9 for lunch. So we opted to stay close by and went right next door. It was Monday, Veteran's Day, but the restaurant was not very busy. We were seated immediately. Which was great, because we were all hungry. The restaurant is large & bright (during the day, can't comment on evening). Our server was friendly and got our drinks out quick. Food/ drink runners & our server appeared to work well as a team and everyone was polite & friendly. We ordered several appetizers to start. Onion Rings, Tater Tot Fondue, Firecracker Shrimp & Mozzarella Sticks. The onion rings were good. The Tater Tots sounded way better on paper than what it was. Basically, a handful of run of the mill, frozen tots with a bland, cold, watery dip. The Firecracker Shrimp were ok. The Mozzarella Sticks were bad. I mean not good at all. Very dry. Didn't even feel like cheese inside the breading. Not stringy, just mush. I typically do not like to mention price, but the value vs quality of all appetizers was way off. I really can't remember what everyone ordered. I ordered the Fish & Chips & my husband had the Sirloin. Free beer with Steaks, which was nice. The Fish & Chips was ok. Fish Sticks would be a better description. It was served with fries & extremely dry slaw. Looks like they just drizzled a bit of dressing on top. It's also served with a remoulade with no option for regular tartar sauce. I asked for mayo & relish & a bit of lemon to somewhat mimic tartar sauce, but they do not have relish. The Steak was ordered medium, but it was closer to well done, very dry. The rice and mashed taters were ok. My 5 year old enjoyed her Mac & cheese though. The consensus among everyone was that everything was just ok at best. But everything was served cold. Nothing was served hot or even warm. The drinks were good though.

I asked for my burger to be well done. It's a $20 burger. Should be perfect right?! This is the same burger after I sent it back and asked for well done! It was still pink ! My daughter found a hair in her chicken sandwich. Very disappointing and not worth the price! Still hungry

A surprisingly good spot to watch sports and have some yummy drinks. While the chicken wings aren't anything to write home about (in fact, I would skip them), the full-order nachos are no joke! Definitely recommend ordering and sharing them--the best bang for your buck. We've visited twice in the last month and I must say Kayley was an incredible bar server. In the large, bright bar area, you'll find a dozen TVs that are bound to be playing whatever game you want to watch. On our most recent visit, we watched as the beer-brewing fermentation tanks were being cleaned. If you're craving dessert, I recommend the large carrot cake, which I take home and eat a little of each morning for breakfast for a few days after visiting. A great neighborhood spot!

    Cajun pasta

We went for lunch. I tried the Cajun pasta without the shrimp. The pasta had good flavor with plenty of grilled chicken and andouille sausage. It tasted a bit oily and after I finished my meal the plate was soaking in oil. See pics. Would not reorder, gave me a stomachache.

I used to work at Rock Bottom in Omaha, NE before it closed down, and it has been my favorite bar food ever since. The atmosphere is basic but nicer than many bars/breweries. On the rustic side. The food was just as I remembered it 8 years ago--wings were my groups favorite, and nachos were a close second. Imo every table should get the nachos as these are a great value, and also a well balanced dish compared to many other restaurants! Margarita pizza was also great, and the carrot cake is always exceptional. I've been burned by a few other RB locations recently, and this one did not disappoint! Our server was great and very friendly as well, and the beers were well described and delicious. My only complaint is that they took the mac and cheese off the menu, and this was by far their best dish. Now they serve this as a side, but it was not the same and not nearly as good. Overall I highly recommend stopping in!

    FULLY LOADED NACHOS
    Taneika S.

Normally I love this place. Their nachos are the best! But I got a salad recently and had to pick out a ton of slimy lettuce. Just kind of laziness in the kitchen. If I'm paying $16.00 for a salad and have to pick out most of the lettuce. Kind of yucky. Editing: went back again 11/8, had the same experience unfortunately Josh.

The apps came out very fast and my favorite was the onion rings with the bubbas sauce....I could put that on just about anything! Yum! The Monte Cristo was deeply fried though the inside was quite flavorful and the raspberry jam compliments well. I don't think I would order again, but it was well worth the try and a great value with the massive portion size which served me for another full meal. The club is always a hit among the family and as you can see comes packed with all the goods! The fries and tots are both delish and especially dipped in that bubbas sauce! The place is loud and crazy and full of people having a blast. My only complaint is that it is toasty in there each time I have gone. But otherwise it's a great casual spot to grab a bite and vibe with some friends!

So Bubba's was a big disappointment Sunday. It was a kitchen failure and more so when I escalated…read moreto a manager. Note I did not mention our server. She was actually pretty good. Attentive and understanding of our issues. So let the story begin.... I peddled down to the area of Bubba's and my daughter suggested we ear there (wife, daughter and I). Sounded good. We went, we were sat our server took our drink order promptly, brought them and we ordered food. Our daughter ordered the kids, macaroni and cheese, wife ordered cheese pizza. I ordered the Reuben. When they came out, my Reuben sandwich was piping hot. That was the only thing that was acceptable. Our daughter's mac & cheese was lukewarm at best along with the fries that came with it. My wife's cheese pizza was the same. It almost seemed like the other orders were made, and sitting under a "warming bin" for a while till my Reuben came out. Once the Reuben was done, everything was delivered. Oh, and my fries were also unacceptable. I caught somebody asked for our server or a manager ... manager came by. I explained the story she said I'll get that taken care of. I was maybe halfway through my Reuben and the new pizza and new mac & cheese and french fries came out. It was all hot and fine. Then came the bill. The bill had two orders of pizza and two orders of mac & cheese, which I guess if they had to do it that way makes sense because there was a second pizza ordered in a second mac & cheese ordered. And then there was a credit for the second pizza and mac & cheese. Nothing more. I kind of expected some kind of ok the kitchen messed up let me charge half price on the new pizza and mac & cheese or something like that, but nothing. Our server came by I said let me talk to the manager. Manager came I explained my thoughts.. first thing she said was well you get to take the pizza home. And in a sense she was right the cold pizza that first came we boxed stuff cause I can always throw it in the oven at home. But I did not order pizzas to go. I ordered a pizza to be eaten at the restaurant. That struck a really poor cord with me. A manager should not be making excuses and not saying well yeah we gave it to you cold but you could take it home and heat it up. She did finally say what do you want me to do I said well take the pizza off. I'll pay for the mac & cheese and I'll call it even, turns out she redid our bill so that it had the original just one Reuben one pizza one mac & cheese, and gave me a credit for the pizza and the mac & cheese so that was better. BUT, I should never have to argue with a manager on something that was a kitchen fail. So the kitchen fail would've been the one star had the manager made things right at the beginning, I would've bumped it to three stars being that I had to argue with manager two stars. There's my story help it helps...

It has all the right ingredients to satisfy anyone's burger cravings. And on the particular Monday that we came here, they were offering an all-day happy hour discount on burgers. So, we got a discount on the burger. If you had ordered fries, you would have just paid the original price of the burger which is honestly a steal! If you're sitting at the bar you can see the window where your food comes up -- our salad and fries both sat there about ten minutes before anyone brought them the ten feet over to us. Not a huge deal, but it's a little cruddy sitting there thinking "I'm pretty sure that's ours" and waiting. The ambiance is very dark, with a lot of stairs up and down -- you head into sort of a basement-type area. Everything I saw was clean and nice. It's a cool, funky spot to take a date or hit for happy hour, so the vibe and ambiance are definitely spot on for that. Signature cocktails -- all fine. Not the best thing ever, but solid. I'd have them again. Side salad -- good. The ranch is made in house and very flavorful, and the salad was actually loaded with veggies. French fries with garlic aioli -- a bit of a letdown. We didn't even finish them. They came out okay, just a little dry, and the aioli itself wasn't very good -- we didn't really like it. Pro tip: The entrées looked pricey, which is why we stuck to snacking at the bar -- and after the fries came out, we were fine calling it there and eating elsewhere. Overall, would recommend for happy hour, and would return.
