I had a service call from a company who I thought was honest and they have told me that the furnace is broken and I need to get replaced or to repairs as it has crack in the system. I called Skradski Heating and Cooling and the tech spend an hour or more checking the system. He sent me pictures and proof that the system just needs pipes and connector and that nothing is broken. After several years of great quality service and communication, I am changing my score to a 1 based on today's experience as well as last year's issues. They provide a 4 hour block to arrive once you schedule service. Previously, they came beyond the 4 hour block and I asked if this happened again, to call and let me know of this delay. Today, no call and after 4 hours, I called Skradski. They claimed I requested an afternoon appointment vs the morning, which was not true. Then, in order to 'make things right', they expected me to stay around for another 30 minutes for another tech to come in and provide a service I prepaid for (spring maintenance). I said 'no thanks'. Thank goodness, there are other HVAC companies in the Omaha area who will provide the service everyone deserves and not to blame the customer for the miscommunication. read more

Our AC went out on a Thursday during the first heat wave of the summer in 2020. We called a few companies and everyone was booked for a couple weeks. We then decided to go with a guy named Joe that has a business card with the phrase "You Know a Guy" that came with high praises from several people we know. Unfortunately, Joe stood us up and didn't return any of our calls or texts. If you get recommended for Joe, take a hard pass. Anyway...since we were stood up on Monday, we needed to find someone ASAP to get in and fix this broken AC. Tuesday morning we called around and the only appointment we could find for a same-week appointment was with Skradski that Friday. Thursday rolls around and we get a call from their secretary saying there is a tech available that day that can come in a couple hours, so of course we said yes! Ryan came and did a quick troubleshoot and found a faulty compressor capacitor and changed it on the spot. He also did a quick check of the Freon and temp differentials and was out the door within 30 minutes. Great customer service and great work! Highly recommend! Service fee: $85 read more

Skradski has been performing routine maintenance on my HVA/C since 2017. (Prior to that I used the company that sold me my system but I was unhappy with their service.) On 6/7, while their tech was doing routine maintenance in switching the system to spring/summer, he found that there was a leak in the coil of the A/C. We discussed what my alternatives were, but while he couldn't give me an estimate of the costs, he called the office and setup an app't for me to discuss the matter with someone who could. On 6/8 I met with Scott, discussed what my choices were, arrived at a decision and set up an app't to have the work done the next day. On 6/9, Skradski's people came and, within 2 and 1/2 hours, they had my new A/C system installed and running. I would definitely recommend Skradski if you have problems with your HVA/C systems. read more

I would highly recommend, they were very professional. The furnace i have was above a drop ceiling and was a difficult job. They even let me know, via text message with a picture of the technician, who and when they would arrive! They were quick and had everything clean when they left. read more

just had furnace replaced last month, not only were they reasonable, but very efficient as they took out the old one redid some duct work and the pipes out the side of the house. would recommend them to anyone, as they drive work trucks not mercedes like another company in town who charges forty nine just to drive the mercedes in your drive, plus the cost of the work. very happy with service i received from them, and did not have to listed to an upsale like the other company i used for plumbing. excellent job guys and many thanks rocco read more

Quick and great, honest service! They spoke with us at length & I could tell they felt bad that the specific part that would fix our problem was a little pricey. They were upfront and sure about the fact that our issue was just a sound issue, and the unit was functioning fine and wasn't at risk of breaking soon like we were worried about, and had mentioned that to them before they took a look. They were totally fine with us taking a little time to think about if we wanted to put the money into it or not. And when we decided to, they promptly got the part & installed it quickly. I don't write reviews. One cold morning last month I realized my furnace had stopped operating. I called my regular guys, but they couldn't come until late afternoon, earliest. I called a few other places. Then I called Skradski. The wonderful technician arrived within 2 hours, quickly diagnosed the issue and found out parts and labor were covered under my furnace warranty. I didn't know and he could've charged, but that is the service you get with Skradski: honest, efficient and well worth the price. I will now be switching my bi-annual maintenance to Skradski.
