Our builder sent the same contract technician out to fix this issue 3 separate times and he repeatedly insisted there was no problem. The constant smell of gas in our home told a very different story, however. We finally had enough of trying to get our builder to address the issue that they created and repeatedly failed to fix and called Tri-Town. We set a date for one of their technicians to visit and met Jason later in the week. He was very prompt, friendly, and extremely professional; it was very obvious from the start that he knew what he was doing and he had creative solutions to our long term issue. Turns out (just as we suspected) a valve was faulty and leaking gas into the basement. Jason explained exactly what was wrong and showed us with a lighter that there was gas flowing even after the furnace had shut off. He tapped the valve with a screwdriver and the force dislodged the stuck piece so that it closed properly: voila! He had the part ordered immediately and set up a second appointment with us to replace it. Once it arrived, the next appointment went just as well as the first; Jason was polite, professional, and punctual and he left us with a functional furnace valve. I would highly recommend booking with Tri-Town if you have any HVAC issues and will definitely use them again if the need arises.

I had this company install a water softener and it has been a rough time…read more It started with an original estimate they provided while in my utility room, it was almost doubled when I called to schedule, and it was almost tripled from the original estimate day of. The water softener was installed a couple of weeks ago and yesterday it flooded my basement. I dealt with the flooding because they could not help over the holiday. Next day, while tech was here inspecting everything, he said to use the non-GFCI in the other room with an extension cord to run everything, the GFCI in utility is now giving trouble. After he left, I followed up with some questions and was then told to NOT run any of it before an electrician or HVAC takes a look. Dangerous inconsistency, just disappoint me in the moment and tell me I am without A/C. Now I am dealing with a damaged electrical components and a downed HVAC system without any support because they THINK it was caused by the equipment and it was unavoidable for them - 30 day warranty sounds nice until something happens.

I had Norm's come onsite to fix a leak from a frozen pipe which went directly to an outdoor spigot…read more After Norm's replaced and soldered the copper pipe we noticed the outside spigot was hard to turn on and off. We didn't pay much attention to it until we started watering our outdoor garden in May. After a few times using this spigot it eventually would not work at all. I called Norms and explained what happened after they came out and was told that they were booked up and could not come out until August which was unacceptable to me. Their solution to me was to call another plumber!! Well long story short I did call another plumber. He found bits of solder in the spigot valve right next to where Norms had soldered the pipe. The entire spigot assembly including the valve at the end had to be replaced. To add further insult Norms charged me $242 to solder a new piece of pipe. The plumber who came out to fix the mess Norms did charged me $262 for the same work done AND A COMPLETE SPIGOT ASSEMBLY. An update to my earlier review as I just received a check for 50% of the original invoice as promised. I have updated my review rating accordingly. I appreciate the response given this matter from Norm's plumbing.

He charged my AC and fixed a stem valve, then said I was good to go. He never even checked the air coming out of my vents; he just said I was good and collected his money. My AC was blowing out cool, not cold, air at 65 degrees. I called him back, and he said my unit was old and I needed to buy a new one. Keep in mind, he never stepped foot in my house except to collect payment. I got a second opinion, and it turns out my coils in my furnace and outside were clogged. After another company cleaned the coils, my AC is right where it should be, blowing out COLD air at 55 degrees. But Sid told me multiple times he has been doing this as long as I have been alive... How many other people has he scammed into replacing their units?
