Willing to be patience and reasonable in my selection based on my credit and income. I was transparent about my income and requested approval be verified first before I even began looking for a vehicle. I was told I was approved after filling out the application and that included the verification of income, I was provided a 2022 ford escape and put a down payment down when I was asked to by Scott. Drove off into the sunset. Never once was told there could be issues with the lender nearly a month after I purchased the vehicle. I was told abruptly with no warning my income wasn't completely verifiable? I sent atleast 15 different documents of financial statements and a detailed employment summary from my boss and suddenly, now I'm not allowed to keep my vehicle unless I give them an additional $3,000. I opted to get into a cheaper vehicle and was told I still needed $3,000 more? Seems like a complete scam. I LOST $1,500 in insurance costs because I had the vehicle insured beyond the refund policy. Galaxyauto took no responsibility for that. I am the provider in my household and now I am likely out of both of my jobs due to galaxyautos inability to be transparent and communicate effectively about the buying process and what the risks were or that my income may not have been acceptable for whatever scammy reason. This company is taking advantage of every person that walks through those doors unless they have half the total cost of the vehicle down as payment or an 839 credit score, so their job is easier. Do not waste your time being played by this shady company.

In October 2021, I was in the market to buy a new vehicle, but the specific one I wanted, Toyota RAV4 Prime, is not sold in the state I live in. Due to supply chain issues and production, RAV4 Primes are extremely hard to find. Most dealers that I called are only selling them to local in-state residents or adding huge markups (~ 5 to 10K or more!). The few Toyota dealerships that do sell to out of state residents AND at MSRP generally have really long waitlist (6 months or more). I chatted with Patrick at West Herr in late October and he said that they could sell me a Prime at MSRP but the wait could be 4 - 6 months if I was set on a specific color, but it could be sooner if I was flexible on color. He was friendly, professional, and 100% transparent and honest from the 1st time I chatted with him. On November 11, about 3 weeks after I left my initial deposit, I received a call from Patrick asking if I was open to the silver/black color and that the vehicle was set to arrive in early December. My wife and I decided that the silver/black color was fine. Patrick was also helpful in adding / removing options/accessories that I did not want. The best part of the whole experience was that there were no surprise dealer add-ons, packages, markups, etc. This was my first time buying a vehicle out-of-state and having it shipped and Patrick and West Herr Toyota Orchard Park made me feel comfortable throughout the entire buying experience. He was very communicative and gave me updates on ETA, took photos of the vehicle when it came in. The paperwork to sign and buy the car was still done on paper and sent via FedEx. The only way I think it could be faster is if that was moved to digital/DocuSign. Nonetheless, the whole process was relatively quick and easy. Patrick even came in on his dayoff, December 24th, when the dealership was closed, so that he could meet the truck driver and load up my RAV4 Prime. The vehicle was delivered on 12/30 and my wife and I are extremely satisfied with the vehicle and the service we received from Patrick and the staff at West Herr Toyota Orchard Park.

My review is in regards to the service department, and especially Gary!!…read more I bought my vehicle at another dealership and although I loved my car-buying experience, I was extremely disappointed with my interaction with the body shop and service center. So much so I will never go there again unless it's something only covered under some of their extra warranties I purchased. One of the reasons for my disappointment, which was driving me insane, is that they provided NO explanation as to why one of my car features was not working according to what my owner's manual stated it should do. When I picked my car, I looked the woman dead in the eye and said "it says it right in the owner's manual!" And she just looked at me like "yea I don't care please leave". And no, I was not rude, I just wanted someone to listen to me and explain why it wasn't functioning. I tried calling 2 other dealerships and they did not answer the phone. Finally, this dealership took my call. They transferred me to service immediately, and then transferred me to Gary who was best equipped to answer my question. Gary took all of the time necessary to research why my car wasn't doing what the manual said it should do. He was patient and just as curious as I was! He figured it out at after looking up my VIN number and checking the code on the part. He explained it to me and even sent me an email so I could see for myself. Super nice, super professional, and plain old good at what he does. If this location wasn't 30 minutes away from me I would 100 percent come here for every single vehicle need based on this experience. These are my kind of people! I even asked multiple times to confirm, and was reassured face-to-face that the title would be in my name only. Had I been told the truth, I would have never gone through with the purchase through Damien Unfortunately, that turned out to be untrue. After an accident, I discovered the cosigner is in fact listed on the title, which has now created a complicated and stressful situation that could have been completely avoided with accurate information from the start. This experience has been frustrating and disappointing. I trusted what I was told during the buying process, and that trust was misplaced. I strongly recommend that anyone purchasing a vehicle here double-check all paperwork themselves before finalizing anything.
