I had a 9:30 appointment to have my rear brakes replaced and my car was on the lift at 9:32, so far so good. I walked out to look at my worn equipment and without any hassle the mechanic showed me what I had, or in this case, what I didn't have. I went back to the waiting room, full of all different types of mags, a full coffee pot and a clean rest room, yea, those two kinda go together. My car was down off the lift and out for a test drive within an hour and the price was exactly what was quoted on the phone. (cheapest of 6 places that I called) No one tried to sell me anything else or find other stuff wrong with the car, in fact the one mechanic actually gave some great advise on how to solve another issue I'm having with out spending another chunk of change. I'm not an expert on car maintenance by any means, but I feel safe bringing my car to this Valu Auto Care Center. I have met two of the guys that work here and they don't make me feel like an idiot when I bring my car in. They let me ask questions and provide detailed answers. When there's something wrong with your car, they often bring you into the shop so you can see the problem. When I spoke to my other car-savvy friends, they confirm that I'm getting decent service at fair prices. You can't find this kind of service everywhere and I'm grateful I've found a mechanic I can trust. My only complaint is that I wish they had longer hours. I believe they close at 5:30pm on weekdays. This obviously becomes are problem in an area where most people are dependent on their cars and public transportation is non-existent. Until I see evidence to convince me otherwise, I trust the mechanics at this location and I will continue to bring my car here for maintenance. read more

Great people and great service. I usually take my car here just for an oil change but I needed Additional work done to get my car to past inspection. I made an appointment and scheduled to bring the car in in the morning. I was thinking I would have to pick up the car the next day but to my surprise a hour after I dropped it off they called let me know exactly what needed to be fixed for the car to pass inspection and exactly how much it would cost. They didn't try to put extras services in there or change the price like some of the other places do. They let me know they could get everything done that day as well! Once everything was done I came back paid and my car was waiting for me in the lot. Straight forward shop that gives you exactly what you need to keep your car on the road. Cant say enough about the service at Team Pro Auto Care. Jim and Rob are the most honestly mechanics I've ever met. I've had numerous repairs and services done on my Truck and my wife's at team pro. My truck needed new brakes (pads and rotors, front and back) and while the quote was 50% less than a dealer would charge, It was more than I wanted to spend that day. Rob worked with me to let me know I could replace the back brakes first because they were most urgent and I could replace the front in a month to help break up the cost. DO NOT GO HERE. Whatever you do. I was charged $20 over the "absolute worst case scenario" quote I got from Valu (before the work was done, of course) and what I compared to other businesses in the area. When I paid, the total came to $50 about the already high repair total! The mechanic told me he had fixed my oil, and that's what the extra $50 was. I argued with him that I'd never asked to have my oil done as I had Triple A change it ONE WEEK ago. We argued, he raised his voice, and finally acquiesced as if he was doing me a favor. When I got home, I checked my oil and found that, actually, they'd DRAINED A THIRD OF IT FROM THE TANK. They were also incredibly rude, disrespectful, and insulting. Do not, ever, go here unless you would like to be ridiculously ripped off and treated like garbage while they do it. read more
