Love going there in the spring/summer to be on the top patio to enjoy the view while eating their nachos that's good and the wide selection of beers/cocktails. I try to go there when this certain bartender doesn't work that day because he is rude and needs to take customer service training! Sky high is great! Great food, drinks and vibe. Especially in the summer when you can play cornhole on the rooftop. The only negative thing I have to say is that sometimes the service is very slow, even on days when they aren't busy. If you can sit in the bar, do it! I always get great service there. read more

I went to Sky High expecting the usual brewpub food and atmosphere - good food, a fun atmosphere, and good service. The atmosphere was great - I could tell that the views out of the large windows would be great at sunset (we were there after dark), but the food was disappointing. I ordered a salmon burger, expecting a hearty salmon flavor and minimal fillers. Instead, the burger barely tasted of fish and was extremely dry, even though they tried to compensate with a really juicy tomato slice and tartar sauce. My fries were also cooked to the point of being nearly burnt and were generally unpleasant to eat. Our server (who was very nice) asked how the meal went, and I told him my opinions. Instead of offering to bring my suggestions back to the chef, he suggested that I order the fish tacos next time. Why not take the customer's opinions into consideration? read more

Eww I hated this place. Found a black curly hair in my food. The service sucks too and when I complained about our food, the management couldn't care less. Corvallis can do better than this.... So disappointed. read more

A pretty cool space with both a tasting room and a restaurant with outdoor seating for warmer days. There used to be a better view of the river, but new construction blocks that. Ordered a burger here to go, it was delish. Nice service and blows all the burgers in Bend out of the water. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the cheese was melted! We use to go to locals night at Deschutes Brewery but they just aren't this great. Never mind 10 B they just suck now. Nice job to the staff here as well. Our to go meal had napkins and utensils. Thanks! Will definitely visit again. Now if only our dogs could sit on the deck. read more

Location and view are fun but the service I have experienced multiple times is not worth it. Basically plan on being ignored. Both times I have been here I haven't gotten refills, food takes a long time to come out and when it arrives it's cold, servers avoid eye contact and it is an overall unpleasant experience. read more

We were meeting up with cousins we had not seen in decades. Really! The staff was terrific in letting us visit as long as we wanted before we ordered. That was great. What wasn't great was the burgers. Sorry! We all ordered the same but with different cheeses and I have to say we all agreed the burgers were dry and tasteless. I even found myself adding salt to the burger. I've NEVER done that before. The only other thing I would mention, and I found this funny in a way, and a sad commentary in another, my burger and beer came to $14.45. I provided $20.45 in cash and asked for dollar bills back (for the tip) what came back to me was $5.45....the same forty five cents I had provided. Fun place tho'! read more

It really is a great place to eat. However, the chef apparently has no idea how to cook the Thai Chicken with peanut sauce. I could taste almost no peanut sauce. From now on I'll stick to the burgers, because everyone in my group enjoyed theirs. read more

The staff is super friendly and the beer is tasty. I've been here a few times throughout their building process, and every time I've gone in I've been acknowledged immediately and helped shortly after. It's pretty much the perfect place. The wood at the bar is absolutely beautiful and there's seating that overlooks the brewery, really cool. Keep it up sky high! All was fine until we were charged $7 for a pint of beer on Nitro. The extra price ($2.75 more) was NOT posted anywhere. I have been to dozens of pub all over the world and never been charge extra for a Nitro beer. When we complained, the "manager" gave us a lame apology, admitted we were overcharged, but offer no recourse (even though we spent $50 on dinner & drinks). I guess they don't need our business; good thing, with dozens of other excellent restaurants in Corvallis, we will not be back. read more

Ate at sky high today for the first time after trying to go for soooo long. My family has heard great things about this place and it seems everytime we have tried to stop in its about a 90 min wait. That's longer then olive garden! Okay so we got in today after about 10 min waiting and was not very impressed with the building.. very little seating and we had to sit outside even though it was pretty chilly. Our food was pretty good although I would probably not likely be coming back often because even though we got to sit down this time the food itself took an hour to come out with our appetizer then our food. In my opinion way to long with how little busy they were. Our waitress was also focusing on bigger tables then ours..we had to ask her to fill our drinks everytime because she didn't once do it on her own. I felt like her boss not her customer, I shouldn't have to tell you we need drinks, we are ready to order because you never came back by, and seriously this one wasn't okay SHE DIDN'T BRING SILVERWARE OR NAPKINS...egh after all that the food was decent but not worth the poor service unfortunately. read more
