It's totally understandable that reservations wouldn't be possible on a World Cup day. Seems like the staff are not all on the same page, or I was misled to just get my group into the bar (which has happened at other bars during the tournament so it's not unheard of). Had to take my three nieces elsewhere at the last minute and don't imagine I'll be returning after that experience.

I have tried mostly all the hookah bars around Houston and was hyped to see this one opened up closer to highway 6. This is my 4th time here so decided to write a review. Hookahs are clean and hit great. They use KMs and the bowls are pretty big too for a standard bowl. They have all kinds of flavor and brands too - starbuzz, afzal (paan), al fakher, and fumari to name a few. Coals wise they only use coco Nara. I haven't been disappointed yet with the hookah or the service (to fix the hookahs to replacing the coal. They also have fruit heads and glass hookah if you are into that. I haven't tried the food yet but have tried the smoothies and they were really good. They sugar content was right enough where it wasn't over powering the flavor of the fruits. I have tried strawberry banana, the mango, and blueberry. They have a lot more flavors but my go to has been the strawberry banana and the mango ( probably the only place that I know has mango). They have free wifi and not to mention a free drink with a hookah. The place just opened a week and half ago and so far it's been my go to place for a good hookah session. read more

Sky Hookah Lounge is by far the best lounge in the area. The hookah never disappoints and they have a full bar with more then competitive prices. The hookah wasn't harsh, the coals were refreshed regularly, and the hookah was flavorful. Also, they don't mark-up prices on alcohol just because it's convenient. Their prices are actually cheaper then conventional bars. It seems as if they genuinely want us to have a pleasurable experience. This is something I respect because it shows that they just don't care about their bottom line, they care about us: the customers. I will definitely be going back. read more

Very poor service. I went there this weekend with my friends and the hookah I ordered tasted burnt literally 5 mins after ordering. I asked the waiter to check it out and even she agreed it didn't taste right. When she informed the manager, he had such a bad attitude towards us. It was really upsetting. We just wanted the quality we were paying for but I guess the manager didn't understand. It was embarrassing how he was talking to us. Honestly it wasn't worth the hassle. Been to Sky twice once during the week and once on the weekend the week is very chill and the weekend is really fun. I had so much fun! The hookahs are really good one of the servers recommended a fruit head never had it before but i sure will order it again and the drinks are super good The bartender Le'La made me a drink that i love so much it tasted just like the ocean water at sonic which is my favorite so definitely will be my go to when i go back. This place was pretty nice. The antmosphere is really chill and the music is very chill (as in its loud enough, but not too loud so you can keep a good conversation). The hookah's are pretty legit. The flavor' we're pretty great. We got the mixed fruit with the pineapple head with an ice tip and it was smooth af. Overall I believe this is one of the next and upcoming hookah lounges in Houston. I went today to Sky Hookah lounge and I got an amazing service from Mera. She was honestly very nice and actually knew how to speak and hold a conversation with the customers as well as working hard. I honestly think if you want to continue to have your hookah bar running well you should hire people like her more often. read more

I'm just not ok with a dj who is being paid by the owner, telling folks or allowing the MC to tell folks in order to request a song, you gotta pay. If I chose to tip him, so be it, but being forced ain't cool. My biggest complaint was the price of everything. Now I'm a country chick and realize that prices are more expensive in the city. I was approached by the manager and I told her I needed a set up. She asked me what chasers I wanted and I said water and coke. I was charged separately for the water and coke that was supposed to be included in my set up.... so all together for a set up and a hookah, I paid over $60. I've never paid, IN HOUSTON, more than $10 for a set up and $35 for a hookah. Then they have small 4 oz paper cups to get the ice out with. After all this she attempted to charge me a bottle fee for each bottle I brought in. I sincerely think the young lady wasn't sure about what she was doing. Again she maintained her professionalism but she looked overwhelmed. Let's move on to those hookahs, the flavor lasted maybe 10-15 minutes and then the other lady who was helping refresh the coals was firmly pressing them down on the foil. I called her to the side and advised her that she was going to burn the shisha like that and sure enough my next puff was nothing but burnt shisha. They did replace it for free so I can't say much about that but overall....... The employees need training, I think they were overwhelmed and I think y'all were understaffed to serve the amount of people that accompanied this party... Great establishment Great employees Refine their skills and you'll be open a long time.
