Given that the building I was moving to had strict moving policies and a limited time period to move stuff in, I scheduled time with Gulia and her team and I hopped on Zoom to assess what needed to be transported. As the main point of contact, she's warm, transparent about costs, and laid out the best strategy: 3-man job, 9-hours to complete. On moving day, Frank, Aidyn, and Sergey arrived with masks and were the most professional and capable movers I've worked with. They had a plan to wrap and move every piece of furniture into the truck, was able to do the same with my friend's stuff, and quickly loaded it in the new building. I have to give them bonus points because they were kind to my roommates as they were moving stuff out, friendly to the building staff, and considerate to my unit neighbors as they moved my stuff in. They didn't waste a minute - That 9-hour quote turned out to be 5.5 hours once everything was done! Whenever my friends or co-workers are looking for movers, I'll definitely recommend them. PRO TIP: Try to book as early as possible. Given COVID-19 and the exodus from SF, I started talking to Gulia 4 weeks before the move so we could tentatively lock in a spot. Despite this, they showed up with a truck that was not large enough to fit all of our furniture and items. This caused us to have to make a second trip in which we had to leave even more behind than we anticipated. They damaged a few pieces of furniture (including our couch and dining room chairs,) they scratched the floors moving out of our old residence, and they damaged a wall moving into our new residence. Management has failed to adequately address the situation despite promising they would multiple times now. If you are looking to move in the SF Bay Area, I would not suggest using Truket.
