THESE GUYS ARE NOT HONEST OR TRUSTWORTHY. This company recently moved our items into storage while we determined where we would live next. When we wanted to get our things out of storage they wanted to charge us 4,600 DOLLARS to get it out. We'd already paid 4,800 to have it moved into storage (which was more than the original quote) We said we'd pay someone else to pick it up, for a week they wouldn't give us the address where it was...apparently they rented a couple storage lockers and put it there. AND CHARGED US MORE EACH MONTH THAN WHAT THEY WERE PAYING! If we wanted to "visit our items" they charge 100$ and needed a two week notice!? I have lived and moved all over the country and don't want anyone else to get burned like we did here. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. read more

The entire crew at Luigy's was great to work with. From the initial walkthrough with Gershon to the last box being unloaded 700+ miles away by Luis and Cesar, the process was seamless. We received quotes from over a handful of moving companies and Luigy's stuck out not only on cost ($8k for a 775 mile move of 10,000 lbs) but also on process. Luigy's was the only option that relied on one crew for pickup and delivery. This is important for limiting damage, timelines, and also keeps the cost down. All the other providers were middlemen that would outsource the delivery to a national firm (Atlas, Vanlines, etc) and then again outsource local unpacking at our new location. Our items were picked up on a Thursday morning at 8:00am, held at their facility in Novato until Friday morning at which time Luis and Cesar left at 6:00am and drove all day. By Saturday at 8:00am they were calling to let me know they were pulling up to my new place. Our items were kept on one truck the entire time and not moved around between small truck/semi truck/small ruck again, as with the other providers. If you are in the Bay Area and moving, especially out of state, I highly recommend them to do a great job at the best price. read more

After the POD was delivered, I looked at the POD, I looked at all our stuff, and thought, "Oh no, this isn't going to work." But it did.
