Vicki did an amazing job on my toes and my fingers! I came in for a pedicure not knowing if anything could be done. Both of my big toes have injury to them and they are black and blue as well as very thick. Vicky made my toes beautiful again!! She vented a fill on my nails when I really should have had a full set for letting them go for so long. But still she made them perfect! I will never go anywhere else again. I also had my eyebrows done by T and she did an amazing job as well! I've came here a few times but the first time I got two different colors for a whole price of $45 went amazing but the man was on the phone THE WHOLE time.. whatever.. then the second time I go I only get white nails nothing but all white nails and it was about $55-$60 and kinda confused on how that works! But whatever but the reason I'm leaving this is because the last time I went it the lady dropped my nail file on the ground and proceeded to put it back into my bag.. The service was a little slow today since they were short staffed, but they remained calm and professional during my manicure. It was xmas party season and they were busy but fit us in for a mani, and a mani-pedi. This was a big score since it was my last day in town! My companion had a small issue with her pedicure but they were cool with working around it and it came out great! My nails are kept very short and other shops will rush my manicures but Sky Nails gave me the same care and attention as any other manicure. The shop was comfortable. They send your file and buff block with you (garuanteeing you arent having the previous customers used on the next) but do charge a small materials fee for them. No big deal, since it keeps them in stock for the shop and their doors open. The shop has prices on par with most others in Silverton, and have prices clearly stated up front. read more

very disappointed. The gal was nice, but I paid for extras and told her that I am elderly and cannot take care of my feet, so I need her to. She did not soak my feet, she did not scrub my feet, she did not exfoliate my feet. I have severe cracks but did not know it because I cannot see them. I did know it was painful and have been trying to medicate them, but I cannot reach them. I spent a total of $90 as an elderly woman with an injury, who needed help, so I was willing to pay for it, and nothing she did helped. I could have done a better manicure, my fingernails were left rough and snagging on everything. But my biggest concern was to get help for my feet because I cannot reach them. I've gotten a pedicure here twice. First time they did great on my nails with a basic color but the man that turned the water on in the foot bath left it on extra hot and I couldn't even leave my feet in it. Had to awkwardly hold them out as my feet were already bright red from attempting to enjoy it. They were busy so it took a while to get anyone's attention. She did the manicure while I was still in the pedicure chair, forcing me to hold my one arm across my body while she worked, because she wouldn't move to the other side. I know this nail salon has a bad rap, but they were really awesome with me. I was a walk-in, it wasn't too busy; there were 3 people working and three people getting their nails done. They were just finishing up, and it wasn't a long wait time- just enough time for me to choose my color. I got the luxury pedicure which they took their time and didn't rush- I was in the chair for 45 min at least! Maybe even longer. After, I got a shellac manicure, they shaped them really well, and did a good job. They had other people walk in and they only waited about 10/15 min before they were seated and attended to. I dont understand why this place has such negative reviews. I went in today for a 1 pm appointment to get a shellac pedi and mani. The service was professional and very kind. I wasnt aware that you had to bring your own nail items (buffer) but that just goes to show how clean the spa is. The massage I received for both the pedi and the mani was amazing. It was not short and it was not rushed thru. In total i spent about an hour or hour and half in the chair. I would highly recommend this place. Shellac mani $25, shellac pedi $35. read more

Worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon! Took my sister in law to also get a full set with me, her First time ever. The atmosphere was so quiet and awkward, no tv for us to watch or music playing. both of our nail techs never once tried to do ANY small talk...literally none. Anything my nail lady said to me had such a bitchy undertone to it, she used her language barrier as a disguise. For example, I smoke cigarettes and you can tell what fingers i smoke with, she pointed that out to me. Which I'm very insecure out. She made bitchy comments about my thumb being bigger than their "norm" cause she had to go in her drawyer to get a tip that would fit, she sounded disgusted and annoyed that I wanted matte black. I think she runs the place because she was answering phones and her seat was the first one in the line...in my time there she was sassy with every single phone call she had, and she literally hung up on a customer cause they didn't answer her quick enough. AND THEN, my nails are not straight and centered, I asked for coffin and i would never call these coffin shape. my sister in law wanted flames On her nails, the lady told her they absolutely couldn't do that and never once recommended something easier that they could do (cause obviously flames are pretty hard). I've been getting nails done for over 10 years and I have NEVER witnesses anything close to this. I have no idea how they have business. I HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else read more

So I was skeptical to try this place because of the reviews but I decided to give it a try because It's close to my home , yea it sucks ..don't come here it's unsanitary and has terrible customer service .. my appointment was at 2 pm didn't get attended to until about 2:53 pm and then she constantly kept getting up to attend different people ... she stopped working on me and went to apply more nail polish and flip flops on another customer and then came back to me without changing her gloves after having scraped nail polish of the sides of someone's toes and touching the dirt bottom of their flip flops ... I told myself don't freak out not a big deal just be cool ... but then she got up again to check someone out and touched dirty money and THEN also cleaned a pedicure sink WITH JUST A SCRUB BRUSH NO SOAP and then came back to work on me again ... I was grossed out and asked her to change her gloves and she just got up and rinsed them with JUST water for approximately 2 seconds and came back ...I then asked her do you not have more gloves ? So she said oh and changed them .. she is still getting up and doing other stuff during my appointment.. I am writing this post as I am still in the chair and she is on the phone ... I get It ...it's a busy place but please take into consideration cleanliness and sanitary practices .. I'm usually a very patient person but I'm grossed out and annoyed .. never coming back here ! Probably will call a health inspector too ! Awful experience. Dirty facility, long wait time and terrible customer service. We had an appointment and they let my 11 year old niece sit in cooling water for 45 minutes. In her own words, "I turned into a prune while they helped people that came in after us." We made appointments for manis and pedis and never got the mani portion before they tried rushing us out. Since it was over an hour and a half for just the toes to be finished we were over it. While we paid, we asked her if she cared how long it took and that we didn't get the services we requested. I just left Sky Nails and I will never return. I went in for a simple pedicure and over two hours later they were finally done. The reason being is that my technician was working on 3 other people while working on me. Their sign says that walk-ins are welcome but they were not turning anyone away. I had to sit there for over 30 minutes two times because she was working on other customers. One customer got up to leave because she had been waiting for over 30 minutes without anyone helping her, so the gal that was painting my toes literally got up in the middle of painting my toes to help this other customer. I've been in customer service my entire life and this is no way to treat customers. Poor poor service. They did do a nice job though. The price was very good too, but I would rather pay more and get better service and not be there for over 2 hours. read more

The whole manicure lasted maybe 5 painful minutes, and there was only one other lady in the salon getting nails done, so it's not like they were hurrying for any reason. She was rude, insulting, careless, harsh, and very sloppy- I ended up with polish covered in bubbles, over cuticles, and even on the sides of my fingers! I have been getting acrylic nails off and on now for 5 years. They had the worst service and nails are awful. Crooked, the acrylic solution was all over my nails and the polish was streaky and never fully dried. I ended up driving to Salem to get them fixed. If I could leave zero stars out of five, I would. I'm not one to write reviews very often but I am so upset about my experience today, that I need to share it with others so that nobody else makes the mistake of coming here. I made a reservation for my two nieces to get their nails done for their eighth grade promotion and the entire Sky Nails staff had terrible customer service. We waited for way too long, trying to get the staff's attention so we could be seated and when my niece finally got seated (only one of them, the other still had to wait!) the staff went back and forth between other clients to treat her. And all he did was help clean her nails, not file, etc. Then two older ladies came in and they were seated and treated right away and before both my nieces (even the one sitting down) even though we had been there about an hour at that point. I would remind you that we had a reservation. I hate to think it, but I believe their behavior was racist because we are Latinas and the majority of the clients there were White. Anyway, take your service elsewhere, I promise it'll be much better than any experience you could have at Sky Nails. read more

I posted a review after my first pedicure here. Liked the nail tech, was a tad apprehensive about cleanliness but, gave a good review due to the nice tech and good job she did. I booked a new appointment three weeks later. The nail tech was a young man who I had seen there last time I was in. He and I had a nice conversation and he appeared to do a good job. When he was using the abrasive sponge to get callouses off my feet, at one point I noted he hit a tender spot on the side of my foot. I don't have heavily calloused feet so thought his attention a bit tough. When we got all done, I realized he had broken The skin on the side of my foot, it had bled slightly and he had to have seen it. I waited until I checked out to see if he'd apologize or say anything. He did not, and now I've spent a week with a Bandage on the side of my foot because every shoe I own wears on the spot. I used to love this place when it was SKY nails. They recently went under new ownership, put a tiny little decal on the window that has the new name, but it still has the feel of the previous owners. I set up an appointment for me, my mom and her friend. We all got into our massage chairs once we picked our colors and everything seemed pretty nice. I paid for a massage, which lasted MAYBE three minutes. And then other clients started to pour in, and I got left waiting with my feet in cold water while my host worked on other people. I ended up being there for two hours before my toes got painted. My mom and her friend were waiting for me for 45 minutes. I had some errands to run so I politely rushed the person painting my toes, denying the drying fan and got my flip flops on. When I got to the counter, the lady who painted my toes charged an extra ten dollars to my card. When I asked her about it, she apologized and handed me the ten dollars in cash while asking me for a tip. Extremely disappointed in the rise of prices and poor service. Will never return. read more
