Nice hole in the wall burger spot in Deep Ellum. It's not trying to be fancy or upscale like a lot of the newer restaurants popping up. Not cheap but not expensive. Burgers are good. Simple menu too! I recommend adding an egg. read more

Seriously such a tasty burger. The bacon was nice and crisp, the grilled onions were cooked well, & the meat was flavorful. Their sauce was also soooo good. I love when a place offers their own condiment. I was in shock because it's so hard to find a a burger in Dallas that doesn't need a pound of salt to choke it down. I haven't written a review in a long while.. well this place warrants my return. As already noted. Simple menu. But man the burgers are good. Made to order so it might take a bit if they are busy. I went at 2pm and it took like 5 minutes. The single (1/4 lb) is the perfect size for me. I got it no mayo +mustard +double cheese. These burgers are juicy. That's not grease folks, its FAT. Full flavor FAT. Patties are seasoned well and have a nice crust. It comes with a special sauce, which usually I avoid on burgers but the sauce really worked. Didn't try anything else so this is for the burger only. BONUS: it has free parking!! Now I have "burger fingers"... which is not a bad thing. read more

Burger was good and seasoned well and served on a sesame seed bun . The large fries were a pretty hearty serving and homemade cut from fresh potatoes. The location was very clean and the staff there was friendly and asked if we enjoyed our lunch. Plenty of space to eat and the parking lot was free. read more

This place did not disappoint!! I consider myself a burger connoisseur and I was impressed! All the things you want: adequate amount of grease AKA flavor, fresh ingredients, and great taste! Pretty decent burger joint in the Deep Ellum area. Their burgers are made fresh and have a great taste thanks in part to their secret sauce. The only problem was the cheese fries, really did not like them. It's a bit on the pricey side but it's well expected if your eating in the Deep Ellum area. When my wife and I were on our way to try a new hamburger we just happened to pass by this place. So we turned around to give Sky Rocket a try. I ordered a double cheese with bacon. Got it with mustard instead of special sauce; and grilled onions, pickles, lettuce, and tomato. The hamburger came wrapped in paper smoking hot. After my first bite this became my new favorite burger place. The fresh sesame seed bun plus the fresh in-house ground meat sets this burger apart from the other burger joints. This place is family owned and ran. Very friendly and excited about what they serve to their customers. I will be back for more! Wow! Literally the best burger I've had in DFW in a really long time! Came across this place on an afternoon in Deep Ellum with my husband. The three guys running the place were very friendly and helped us with recommendations on what to get. My husband ordered the single and I got the single with grilled onions. We shared some cheese tots and fries. The burgers were sooooo juicy and cooked just right! They have some secret sauce on it that is so flavorful! The cheese tots were delish dipped in the secret sauce and the fries had the perfect seasoning! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and can't wait to come back again soon! Thank you so much!!! Gave this place a try. The first thing I noticed when I unwrapped my burger is that it looked like someone had tried to press it down into a hockey puck. Not the best presentation, but it was a decent-tasting hamburger nonetheless. It was a bit on the small side, which I actually appreciate. In many restaurants the serving size is just too large, so this was about the right size for me. Some places have burgers that are too dry and flavorless, while others have some that are so juicy that they fall apart as you eat them. This burger was pretty juicy -- almost too juicy. This was due, of course, to the fat content. Fat makes things taste good, so the fat did make the burger more enjoyable to eat. But it really did verge on being too juicy. In my opinion, they could dial back the fat content just a little. The burgers come fully loaded with things like lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and their special sauce, etc. -- but it does not say that on the overhead menu. This is an oversight in my opinion. It should have stated that outright. If you eat here be sure you clarify what it is you're getting. The fries were a pretty large portion for a small but nothing to write home about. If you're watching calories, you could probably skip the fries and not miss anything special. I believe these were fresh-cut fries and not frozen -- and that's part of their problem. It is a well-established and freely available culinary fact that frozen fries cook up better than fresh fries. Any restaurateur should know this. If I'm wrong and they were frying frozen French fries, then I would suggest they reevaluate their product. The dining room was clean and tidy, which I always appreciate. I will probably be back for another burger sometime soon. read more

Burger was juicy and flavorful. I got the double with a fried egg and it was wonderful. The fries were crispy and good as well. The only downside of my visit was that they only had chocolate, vanilla and cookies and cream shakes. They say they have strawberry and I believe cherry. The chocolate ended up being good as they are made from bluebell ice cream. If you plan to eat there, the inside it is a bit on the smaller side with a handful of tables and some bar style tables along the wall. The atmosphere of the place is cool as you can sign your name on the wall. Overall great place for a delicious burger and fries. Will return. read more

I ordered a double, no tomato or Mayo, add mustard... Grilled onion, grilled jalapeno, with a side of tots. I'm a fry person through and through, but ordered tots on a whim. All I have to saw is wow.... The burger is smash burger style, which was cooked perfectly... Crispy edges the whole nine... Meat was full of flavor, and the ingredients were fresh.
