My neighbors (6 total) all used The Final Touch roofing and I did not. I went with a slightly cheaper roofing company and was disappointed. I watch as my neighbors had The Final touch meticulously replace the roofs on their homes. Every detail was addressed, the plywood, the underlayment, the gutters, the tear off and of course, the clean up. This exquisite work was observed as I walked my dog daily and asked questions of my neighbors and the crew working as I was in the market for a new roof. Ovi and his wife are perfectionists and their commitment to quality is unsurpassed. Don't make the mistake I did and go with the cheaper company that promises the same quality, it's not worth it. In the end I didn't save any money, I only got aggravation and excuses from the company I used and will probably have to redo some of the work.

Throughout the job, they were professional, organized, and kept the work moving efficiently. What impressed me the most was their willingness to go above and beyond to coordinate with my HVAC contractor. They accommodated the removal and reinstallation of the rooftop AC units without hesitation, helping keep the entire project on schedule. Fortunately, my garage (which was storing much of what I had that wasn't in the house) was the only thing that suffered damage, Unfortunately, most of my mementos were destroyed. I reroofed, and now almost 30 years later, with rumors are that El Nino is making a return visit, I thought (since we had suffered minor leaks during some of the recent rains) it was time to reroof, so I put Yelp to work to find me some people to interview. I picked five for the information I could glean, asking few questions, since I knew opening my mouth connected to a brain that knows little about roofing, would be a bad idea and also seeing if people were helpful with their explanations. Everyone (maybe except one) was personable enough for me to think I could work with them, but much of the information was kinda the same thing (although I noted some improvements in roofing since 97 that were useful to ask each about). The prices were more or less the same, and close enough that I knew I could find a point that would be roughly around the general price for them all, so it wasn't money. It was rapport and ultimately who gave me the greatest sense of trust. And. I learned, information that no one else told me. Roy, with Top Roofing was the ONLY one of the five that I saw who discussed the solar pool heating on my roof with me; each of the people I met with went on the roof. Not one other person mentioned it, and if you have solar panels on the roof - it's a consideration in doing the job. When I called the others who'd come to the house to say I'd made my choice and asked why I picked someone else I told them this - it was determinative that one person told me this was a job that needed to be done in addition to the roofing. He hooked me up with a solar heating company, he'd worked with before and I got on the phone with them and felt reasonably satisfied that between them and Roy it would get done on time, on budget. (It's not a small add-on to have them remove and reinstall the works, so if this affects you, be warned). Roy stayed in touch with me throughout - He came by and we spoke on phone daily. We had agreed that in the cost we he would completely replace and repaint a tongue-and-groove porch which was pretty rotted out) and aside from some permit forms I had to fill out, gave me a date of less than a week every date was kept. His crew was punctual, and so neat - the pool was covered, they cleaned up each of the five days they worked. Roy walked the yard with me before they started so I could make sure my gardener trimmed where he needed to, then walked it again, to tell me where we might need to keep trimming. He touched base with me every day, and when it was over gave me a video of the roof (both the main house and the garage were reroofed), and the porch which looked haggard now looks beautiful. I can't say enough about what a positive experience this was. And it looks really good. And since the last time I put on a roof, the tile now cools down the exterior which is good to have in an LA summer. The roof is up, the solar heating is back in operation. Let's go. A roof is an expensive proposition, and I think it's ok to know little if you hire someone you believe in (and, I'll admit, test out a little bit at the onset), who speaks to you in a way that is helpful and doesn't overwhelm you, but I think this was an incredibly positive experience in terms of labor, cleanliness, schedule and most importantly communication. However, when we were getting initial quotes from various roofers, they spent the most time on our roof (and actually made return visits) as well as gave us specific issues to look at for the roof replacement. None of the other roofers gave us this level of time and service for an estimate. And their estimate was very competitive in pricing. Meanwhile, they were able to come out and take a look at a roof leak we had (one of the reason we're looking at replacement) and they narrowed down the issue to a roof drainage problem and took care of it quickly and efficiently. So far, my experience working with Shea Roofing has been nothing but stellar. I'll report back when we're done with our roof replacement, but given the high level of service we have received so far, expecting the rest of the project to go as smoothly.

Our roof was in a bad state and had started to leak damaging the wood underneath. Alpha roofing took care of everything. They replaced all the old wood with new one and got it approved by an inspector. They used quality materials every step of the way and took care of the outside of the house by cleaning up after every day. Replacing a roof is a big expense, but Andy (the owner) took care of us by offering us a great value for the cost and even offered an installment plan. They only took pay after each segment of the project was complete. It's the best feeling not to have to worry about the roof. Overall, I feel grateful that we found Alpha roofing and I will definitely recommend it to anyone in need of roofing. And by the way, they also helped us remove and reinstall all 32 of our solar panels.

This company re-shingled my 2-car pitched roof garage, left the surrounding are spotless, answered all my questions, and just did an excellent job overall. I had been putting off re-doing the garage because the main house is still perfectly intact. I also figured it might be hard to get a quality crew to come out just to do the one roof. However, the company that originally installed the roof had not done a very good job in tacking down the shingles, and they also seemed to have skipped a step (or two). With the rainy season just around the corner, I felt like I just couldn't wait any longer. When I contacted Rafael & Iris Roofing, my biggest concern was not only having the roof done correctly this time, but also finding Corning shingles that would match the existing shingles on the main house, since both structures can be seen from the street. Rafael & Iris' lead contractor, Ruben, assured me that neither would be a problem in terms of finding the right color and the skills of the men he worked with. Now, to be sure "not a problem" is a line contractors always say when they want to get your business, but in this case it was the absolute truth!
