    Rooftop drink!

The service was great. The views were awesome and I can tell in the right night it's a whole vibe. The food was tasty and drink was well made. I would definitely return for a sunset.

This place is so cute. It has wonderful views and it even has happy hour daily. I would recommend the spot as more of a pre-dinner situation or post dinner situation. We ordered the chicken wings and the pork sliders with coleslaw. The chicken wings were amazing. The pork sliders were decently good, but the pork was a little on the dry side. Definitely come here just for the ambience, drinks, and the views. Service was also on the spot. They're very attentive. You can get a really good sunset here. They also have a dj on the weekends. If you're a boater, they have boat docks as well.

There is no better view in southern pinellas county than from Vista at the Top. This hidden gem has incredible modern beach ambiance paired with great cocktails, live music / DJ on select nights and a wide range of tapas! Service is great and attentive!

    Blonde ale on draft

We stopped in here for dinner after spending a few hours at Fort De Soto Dog Beach with our two dogs. It is located on the 7th floor of the hotel and is lit up with string lights, so you can see it before pulling into the parking lot. There was live music playing when we got there, not sure if this is an every Thursday night thing or not. There are several little sections to sit in, but you can still enjoy the views and music from any of them. Large, lush trees, bushes, and grasses fill up planters all around the rooftop. The patio-type furniture was really comfortable, sturdy, and trendy. They also had plenty of umbrellas for the day time to keep everything shaded as well as ceiling fans to help keep you cool. We got there around 9:15ish, so it was already dark and had a really nice breeze. It was giving off an upscale-beach-vibe, but on a rooftop overlooking the bay/nearby businesses. We were beyond hungry by the time we arrived and there was only one staff member working the bar/all the tables. She was so sweet and never rushed us even though she must have been stressed herself (it ended up being quite busy towards the end of the night). We each ordered a blonde ale that was on draft and a burger that came with fries. The beer was crisp and hit the spot! We each agreed that the burger was one of the best burgers we've ever had. I even ate all of it- bun and all, which I normally do not eat. This may be slightly because we were so hungry from being in the sun all day, but mostly because it really was great. The patty was seasoned really well, perfectly cooked, and all of the toppings were fresh. The fries were very thick cut, almost like potato wedges. The whole meal was 10/10 and I loved being able to sit on a rooftop with our dogs and enjoy dinner and the breeze. We would 100% dine here again.

Mango Bourbon Smash & Pina Colada

For my first review of March '2023, I'd love to rave about Vista at the Top. Vista at the Top is located at the Residence Inn on Tierre Verde. This is the same area where you can find Fort De Soto State Park. Next door they also have the Island Grille and Raw Bar. We had to check out both places. This one was my fave of the two places. It's on the top floor and it's open to the public not just the hotel guests. They have nice views of the marina and seeing over the bridge to get back to St. Pete Beach. Everyone working was so friendly. So we ordered two drinks, a mango mixed drink and a Pina Colada. They were great and the Pina Colada was nice and creamy too. I also ordered a watermelon feta salad which was great and I simply loved it and cleaned the plate. What I love about this roof top scenic spot is that it's also dog friendly. I'll be back for sure and I will bring friends in town and out of town. It's that nice. They also have happy hour so check that out! I forget the time and day but that would be so worth it.

    Mushroom toast and potatoes bravas

I really like this place. Beautiful views, live music , super friendly staff, good service and dog friendly!! Brought a couple friends here on a weekday afternoon and we were super pleased. We ordered some cocktails and opted for the field mushroom toast and the potato bravas. The mushroom toast was absolutely delicious. In fact I recreated it at home a week later! The potato bravas, eh, nothing impressive. They were basically just fries with chimichurri sauce, not the traditional style but ok nonetheless. I went back a couple weeks later , solo, and sat at the bar. It was Cinco de mayo so the bartender was making some killer margaritas and letting us sample them (think a smoked mezcal margarita!) Love this place! (Shhh..don't tell the tourists!)

    A great dirty martini!

The views at this place are amazing! I took pictures, but feel it does not do it justice. This place has a great vibe & a lot of fun. There was a dj Saturday night & we enjoyed all the music he played. He was very social & interactive with people he spoke too. I definitely will come back. We had a few items off the food menu & it was good. The drinks are very good as well. Can't wait to come back.

A cool rooftop spot in Tierra Verde with almost 360 views. You have to lean over the rail to watch the sunset in the summer. Some nice small plates for muchies that are really good.

    Beautiful view

I wanted to find a wine bar in that area, and this recommendation popped up. Now, I didn't read everything carefully so I didn't know it was on the roof of a hotel. Which meant, you had to go through the hotel lobby, into the elevator, and up onto the roof. Well, it was totally worth it. Really beautiful, rooftop bar, comfortable with great views, and really good service. On Friday evenings, they seem to have live music as well. The guy that was playing with the guitar that one evening, he was really good, played some really great 80s and 90s songs.the food is not necessarily the best but the drinks are good and interview is stellar.

    Chef Dakota

We had a fantastic night at the roof top Charcuterie workshop with 6 close friends. Chef Dakota did an amazing job prepping and teaching us how to assembly a charcuterie board. High quality meats, cheeses, fruits, nuts. Homemade exotic sauces. I would definitely sign up for another class they offer! It was chilly and windy but they knew how to set up in the perfect spot and had heaters for us. We all had a blast!

The views from up here are gorgeous! this is located on the top of The Residence Inn. We had a decent sized group on our last visit there. The menu is limited, but is full of good food. The chicken meatballs were comforting and flavorful. My favorite cocktail so far here is the "work the petal". They have happy hour until 5 PM with buy one get one free well drinks. I'd like to give a big thanks to David for serving our table the last time I was there. He did a good job keeping up with us. It's a good meeting spot if you're here with a group of friends or date. Good memories.
