My fiance jumped also and she had an almost paralyzing fear of heights... I cannot say enough about Skydive Snohomish. They are professional, competent, positive, and capable. From the minute you walk in you are reassured by the professionalism of the company. The front desk attendant was knowledgeable and helpful. Jo, who was an absolute angel, encouraged us to extend our jump and she was so right! She was a total delight, giving us positive energy the hours we waited and even going on the plane with us! Every person we encountered, from Vlad to Kelly, was absolutely terrific. And then for my tandem jump partner, Nate, OMG, he was fantastic! He made a lot of jokes to distract me and kept asking questions in the plane so I wouldn't freak out. He's done 6000 jumps and it was so reassuring to be with somebody so incredibly capable. And cute! The fact that they've gotten so many five star reviews speak so highly of them. This is such an amazing experience and so specialized, you can tell they are the best of the best and give literally everyone a life-changing experience. Decided to go skydiving and chose Skydive Snohomish which was a great decision! I made my reservation online for today a few months ago, and they did a great job online letting us know what would happen and what to expect day of. My initial appointment was at 10:30 AM, but at 8:30 I received a call saying that conditions were foggy, there's a 75% chance it would be ok, but I had the option to moving my dive a few hours later and the sky would definitely be clear. So I opted to do that. I checked in 30 min before the dive as I was told, and all the workers there were incredibly nice and efficient. They had coffee and tea (with cider!) we could consume while waiting. There are also a ton of games like foosball, connect 4, and cornhole for people (or the observers) to play while waiting. Our initial 15 min safety training started right on time, followed by an instructor taking us in batches to have us go over the proper techniques. I was in the first drop group so I immediately got suited up and ready to go up in the plane! It was all very smooth, I never felt uncomfortable, and the free fall was great, and fantastic views all around! Definitely a great spot to for a skydive experience! read more

Incredible experience. I'm glad I paid the extra to but to almost 15,000 feet. Otherwiss I'd say it would have felt too short of time. I'm typically not afraid of things, but going in my nervousness was 2 area. Actually jumping off and landing. And I ended up being the first to have to jump. But when he said to get off, there was no nervousness at all. It happen so quick and then you going down. Amazing views. You feel on top of the world and have to consciously thibk that Mt. Rainier is still here even though it looks so down from the distance and perspective. The landing was smooth to. I thought I'd mess it up and up and sort of crash and something but nothing like that. I went for my first skydive today and had an amazing experience. When I first arrived, it was too foggy to fly and, while bummed I would have to wait, I was happy to see the commitment to safety the staff had. Staff were also very helpful in getting the people in my delayed group into the next class so we could jump! I jumped with Ryan who was very kind and put my mind at ease. There was never a moment I felt concerned for my safety. The flight up was gorgeous and I got to appreciate the beauty of Washington. Before I knew it it was time to jump. I had a phenomenal dive yesterday with Chris! The experience from entering the dive facility until I left was fantastic. Chris included my spectators in the experience and pictures. DON'T THINK, JUST DO IT!!! This experience is one for the books. I'm terrified of heights and falling in general but ARIC (and I called him Mark almost the entire time because nerves ) made the jump less terrifying and enjoyable Although my videos and photos say otherwise. The view, although hazy, was still amazing. The jump out of the plane is incomparable in an extremely good way. I recommend people to skydive at least once in their lives :) PS for my peeps with motion sickness. I have one and I stupidly forgot to take my medicine. I only felt sick when we were almost at the landing strip. So take precautions if you do have one. Otherwise, THIS WAS AN EPIC EXPERIENCE!!! read more

Fabulous experience. I skydived once before, but there was no comparison. I had so much fun!! The staff was exceptional. So willing to answer any and all questions. Safety is their first priority. They make sure you have been given all the information you need, and more. Everyone is pleasant and upbeat. I'm sure they think of me as the crazy 71 year old lady that wanted fun, and a good time. They surpassed my expectations extremely. Their number 1 rule is smile and have fun. I could tell every customer couldn't help smile and have fun. All employees were skilled and personable. If someone is apprehensive, they are not by the time they load the plane. A lovely gal, Kiana helped me with all the sign in, payment side of business. She was very knowledgeable, She was so sweet, and very patient. That's a feat in its self considering my age. A perfect anniversary celebration! Thank you to instructors Kelly and Vlad: you went above and beyond to make our first ever skydive special! The waiver was the scariest part. Once we met our instructors we knew we were in good hands. I was able to kiss my husband right before he jumped out of the plane. I was surprised that my stomach didn't drop at all with the fall: there was just a lot of wind and gorgeous views. The video was expensive but worth it, as was the extra altitude. There are probably cheaper places to skydive, but the top notch instructors, equipment, and location made it all worth it. read more

I have never been skydiving before and I am scared of heights but I am so glad that this was my first place to skydive. They are extremely friendly and so helpful! We walked in, the front desk employees greeted us, smiling, and we can see that they love their jobs! We took a quick training session and headed out to meet our instructors. Today was my first time skydiving and I was so nervous! Chris was my instructor (tandem buddy, as I call it) and he made the experience so enjoyable for me and helped calmed my nerves before the big jump. Adrenaline junky or not, this should be an experience you have to try. Its super easy to book. When you arrive you will check-in & fill out the waiver form. They are fairly strict about weight so make sure you know your exact weight or else they will ask you to step on the scale to confirm your weight. Class starts right on the dot so late comers really get turned away. You will watch a short video on the process & safety of skydiving. Then an instructor will come & you will get to practice what you saw on the video. Depending on the size of the group they will tell you which load you will be in. My group had 3 loads. They encourage you to choose the higher altitude for a 60 second freefall! It cost $35 extras but its very worth it! Make sure to add that! You can also do video & photos for an extra cost. I cat remember the price for that one. Once you get on the plain the adrenaline starts. Fear might kick in a little when the doors are open your feet are hanging but after that you wont even remember that you were scared! Who knew that one of the world's 9 best places to go skydiving according to the Travel Channel was only 20 miles from Seattle? My friends and I recently took the plunge at Skydive Snohomish and it was one of the best experiences ever. You will have breathtaking views of Mt. Rainier, Mt. Baker, the Puget Sound, the Cascade and Olympic Mountain ranges, the Seattle skyline, Victoria, and the San Juan Islands. The booking process was super easy online. You can browse the calendar for available dates and times. If you have a group of 4 or more, there are different discounts depending on the number of people. Since we had more than 10 people, most of us applied the $25 discount towards the double freefall. I highly recommend paying for the extra freefall time which is a full minute versus 30 seconds. If you're going to pay $200+ for the experience, which you might not do again, you might as well maximize your time in the air! For an extra $90 you can add on the option of a video or photos. After you finishing your jump you are presented with a certificate, reusable water bottle, and coupons for future visits. While waiting for your turn, or if you're just a spectator, there is plenty of outdoor seating and a couple of games you can play. read more

If you're looking to feel alive, skydiving might be it. It's one of those bucket list thing. I normally would be too cheap to purchase those extra add-ons photos/videos and especially at a steep price of $90, but it's worth it. I feel like I relive the whole thing all over again every time I watch the video with the music that just goes very well with the exhilarating feeling that one gets from jumping out of a plane. Place is very professional, whoever created the intro video is great, it's very educational with a touch of humor. For the most part as a tandem jumper meaning you're attached to somebody that knows what the hell they're doing, your only job is to decide to jump, the instructor does everything from pulling the parachute to filming. I feel like there are some things you can't think about and just have to do it. Skydiving is definitely one of them. I didn't really know what I got myself into until the plane was getting higher and higher. Nikita was my instructor, really chill guy. On the way up, he was pointing out Mt. Rainier, Baker, Saint Helen, Cascades, etc. for you to look at. I couldn't really listen. I was busy praying to both God and Buddha for a safe landing. Thank you Nikita for the push. Once you're out of the plane, that instant rush of true freedom and acceptance of the unknown makes you feel like none of your "problems" really mattered to begin with. This was my first time skydiving and I 10/10 recommend it here! I flew with my best friend for her 21st my instructor Ryan and even hers made it so much better! Of course, we were nervous but they made the experience so much more fun instead of scary lol. I even lost my nose piercing and somehow caught it and we were even able to carry it to the ground. This place is great for being professional but somehow making it fun when you're falling out of an airplane. The short version: this place is AMAZING!!! The people/staff were kind, the view was BREATH TAKINGLY INCREDIBLE, the entire experience of being there was beyond words perfect! Highly recommend this place!!! You can't prepare for something like this; you just have to do it. My friend and I have been trying to plan to go skydiving for few years, but things kept coming up and WA weather isn't the best or predictable. Everything aside, we booked the jump the day off the jump, morning of. I wasn't feeling good, but I didn't care. Skydiving was on my bucket list. The place was easy to find; follow the signs. :) As soon as we walked in, we're greeted. All the staff were amazing!!! They made the entire experience better/best!!! Everyone was kind, fun, distracting when need be and just absolutely wonderful. We watched a 15 minute video, then the instructor went over the video and brief training. My friend and I were the second group to jump for the session we booked; there were three group for the session. A jump every half hour. While you're waiting, you can see others skydiving. It all goes fast. When it was our turn we were given the jumpsuit and strapped into a harness. Waited a few minutes for the instructor. We got the video option. Decent price for weekday tandem jump. The instructor asked us a few questions, distracted us on the entire place ride up. We're being recorded from start to finish--before the jump, plane ride and the jump. Then we jumped! It went fast. It was fun! Down side: I couldn't adjust my goggles so I can see the free falling, caught a few bugs in my mouth on the way down, and I got very motion sickness when turning the parachute-- we had to go super slow. LOL I didn't throw up. These things didn't affect the jump. Still had fun! Would do it again if someone paid. LOL read more

The fall itself was AMAZING. It felt longer than the first one I did and the view was beautiful. There was a young boy at the check in desk and it took forever to check in because he was training. A young lady next to him was telling him what to do. Very irritating. Train your employees some other way or another time. They slow down the process. We arrived there at 2:30pm like we were told and ended up jumping at around 4:30pm. The wait was super long and boring. I can't believe we had to wait that long! I am a very impatient person so I was a bit irritated by the time I did my jump. I have gone to the location in Shelton and I did not have to wait this long to jump! Only because of the long wait I would have to rethink coming here again for the jump. Probably will not be coming back here. However, I did appreciate the certificate they gave me after my jump and the water bottle. I liked that nice gesture. If it wasn't for the ridiculous long wait and the slow check in I would have given this place 5 stars. read more
