First of all, I don't live in the area. My daughter lives in Henderson and whenever I'm there i always need some kind of part or tool and just can't stand going to Lowe's or Home Depot anymore. Ace always has the help to get you what you need and if they don't have it, they'll certainly try to let you know where you can get it. "Ace is the place with the helpful hardware folks!" Located off of Horizon Ridge and Stephanie, it's a convenient spot for those of us wanting to avoid Eastern or Sunset for the big box stores. Of course it is definitely small but they have an good assortment of hardware, paint and house needs. The new store is very clean and well organized. I just popped in here to check out the new store on the block. Ended up spending $ on a cute hand painted owl planter! Who woulda thunk a hardware store would have merchandise I would be interested in? I think that's what I really like about this particular hardware retailer. they know how to market to females like me. Ive shopped at their Green Valley location, that's where I got my pretty pink floral tool set! Our new neighborhood Ace Hardware is living up to their "helpful, neighborly" mantra too. The place is perfect size, very organized, clean and bright lighting. When it came to a emergency trip to fix a sink leak, Mr. B made a quick trip to ACE. It was not hard to find help, the part he needed was in stock, and boom rung up and out the door and back home in 20 minutes! Had he gone to the big box retailer, it would have been 45 minutes at least. They carry a bit of everything, quality brand names, as you enter, they have their cleaning supplies. The Mrs Meyers brand line too! The prices may be slightly higher, but hey, this place is convenient and I like how they don't treat you like another customer but like their neighbor. The new ACE is now open in the plaza that use to house Fresh N Easy. They are right next door to the Lee's Liquor store. I think it's so funny that I look forward to shopping here and seeing what new stuff they have. Plus I have no problem picking up a part of whatever maintenance project we're working on. Why is it that despite being a fraction of the size of Home Depot and Loews, I always seem to find exactly what I'm looking for at ACE? A couple of weeks ago we responded to Ace Hardware's national advertisement for the Weber Summit Grill. Ace assembles the grill, delivers it and does the Natural Gas hookup all included in the price that beats the competition. We got the process started, set a date for delivery and it came promptly delivered in perfect condition. Since the grill was already assembled at the store, setup was completed in minutes by the two ACE associates assigned to the task. This was an excellent buying experience and the Weber Summit grill is a dream to cook on. Thank you Horizon Ridge Ace. You are a class act. read more

Elderly father went in and bought a box (50 ct) of disposable masks. They charged him $50 for a box of disposable masks...$50!!! He is on a fixed income and is frightened of the current situation with this virus. I thought price gouging was illegal, and if it isn't it should be. This is morally and ethically wrong taking advantage of people's fears, especially the elderly. He didn't open the box and was unable to return it when it was brought to his attention. Omg the best customer service I've ever received. I went to Ace Hardware because I was looking for 50 year old cabinet hinges. I am in the middle of remodeling my kitchen and I couldn't find any new hinges to fit the cabinets. I talked to Renee she got in contact with another Ace Hardware store in California. She was able to connect me with Ron. He was able to find the hinges I needed and will be shipping them to me. If it wasn't for Renee going above and beyond for her customers. I would have probably had to buy all new cabinets and did all this work for nothing. Thank you so much for your hard work and dedication to serve your customers. Walked up to the store to be greeted by the cutest store greeter I've ever seen. Rolo was quite the gentleman and took us right to the humans that could help us. The owner of the store ended up helping us, and Rolo was right there to assist and calm our nerves as I had no idea what I was actually looking for other than "I need this, but different". Renee was amazing and found exactly what I needed! BTW Renee, they all worked perfectly! Can I bring treats for Rolo next time? I will be back very soon! read more

Update! If you are using an EERO mesh network, it will be challenging to get it to work with a Wi-Fi Traeger grill device. It appears that the Traeger Timberline series probably has the updates to make the communications to your iPhone work. In my case, the Ironwood series, it would not work. Traeger sent out a new Wi-Fi controller . Ace Hardware " Sam", came out today and the controller works now. We are naming our grill "Sam". read more

I called a couple times and went in for the first time this week, and the store is very clean, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Brett is very helpful, and provides great customer service (so refreshing in this town!!) and the other staff that I was in contact with had a smile on their face and greeted me as I walked by. WOW. Nice attempt at being a real hardware store but falls short. Maybe came on an off day but didn't have what I needed though they said they had it in stock. Such a great store. Went in looking for a grill, ended up talking with the owner. We bought a Traeger. They are delivering it Tuesday. Everyone in the store was so helpful. This store is excellent!!! It remind me why if I can get something at an ACE I'd prefer to go there instead of a big box store. I wanted to buy a BBQ and went into the store and had a great sales associate help me. I believe his name was Brian (I should have written it down). The Grill was a special order and ACE was running a special on Free Delivery and Assembly. He took care of everything. The lady who processed the transaction told me to contact local gas company to ensure the connection was ok, I did that and initially had a plumber come out to give me a quote on the grill install (since it needed to be hooked-up to a Natural Gas Line that was already in the Backyard) - the plumber quoted me $721 - INSANE! I held off and started to look for somebody else to do it, then ACE called to say that the Grill was ready for delivery and if they could come in the next 30 to 45 minutes, no problem. The manager proceeded to ask me some questions about the type of connection we had and said they would bring everything to get it hooked-up. Even the quick disconnect that needed to be installed which although only a $20+ part they brought and didn't charge for. Assembly of the Grill is excellent, doors all align perfectly. Couldn't be happier. Big Kudos to this store, the staff and service - they will definitely be my #1 choice for anything going forward and will get huge recommendations from me. read more

Went here when looking for a grill. They are WAY more helpful than the big warehouse stores. And even answered questions and checked stock when I called them. They assembled and delivered the grill at no extra charge. And they told me the gas company would put a valve on my gas stub and connect the grill for free (which they did). It's really nice to shop at a smaller place, where they really want your business and are helpful. read more

This Ace Hardware location is AWESOME! I go here for random hardware needs and they always have a solution. I've needed touch-up paint mixed, all sorts of screws, batteries, screen door handles, and assorted other fun items like kid toys and Christmas lighting. The staff is ALWAYS friendly and so helpful. A+ for this business. This is how a true business should run. Lastly, a shoutout to the lady who just fielded my phone call to the store; my son saw a Grinch yard inflatable on our last visit and then asked Santa for this Grinch. Every time I see an Ace commercial on T.V. touting the friendly, helpful hardware people that supposedly bend over backwards to assist customers it reminds me of my one and only and last visit to the Ace store on Horizon Ridge in Henderson. I needed a Moen faucet part and tried to find one in the array of faucet replacement parts and could not find one. A clerk was walking towards me with a customer he was talking with. The clerk followed the customer to the check out then followed the man outside to his car and lingered there for ten minutes while I waited for his return to help me. He never came back in. I went to a clerk at the register and before I could open my mouth to ask for assistance the clerk said, "I can't leave my register." I was the only customer in the entire store. Frustrated and angered, I left the store without any help or a new faucet part. I overheard the clerk outside with the customer he helped and they were talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers. Ace is NOT the helpful hardware store. Maybe in an idealistic clouded world of ad agencies the assumption of their customer's dream is to portray a false belief that Ace's customer service is paramount when in all actuality the business is run in the field level by incompetence and human failure. Being relatively new to Las Vegas area, I intially visited the local big warehouse stores for my needs, but often found myself walking the entire building trying to find what I needed. Need help? Forget it. Then, one day, I walked into Ace looking for a drain cleaner. I was utterly surprised at the attention I received. As it turned out, it wasn't an isolated experience. I've gone back there multiple times, the largest item purchased was a bathroom faucet and the most recent was a fuse for my breaker box, an $8.00 item. Without fail, the assistance was prompt, professional, and always courteous. These guys and gals definitely have my business. read more

Great store with helpful staff located in a nice area. I bought a BBQ at a great price during their labor day sale that included free installation and delivery. Scheduled delivery for Saturday between 1:30 and 2:00 pm and they called me 30 minutes prior to arrival and were at my house at 1:40.
