I have been meaning to write this for awhile, but it has been a busy summer. As a pool pro I go to this Leslie's 3-5 times a week. Originally I was was introduced to Alex, the manager, who unfortunately passed away. Everyone there brings great strengths to the operation. Matt (the manager) knows cleaners, part numbers and PVC fittings like no one else. Payce was there over the summer and was always eager to help. Mary has a smile and is always looking for the best way to help a customer. Nathan is new but again eager to help and learn. Basically they all really do go above and beyond to help. I'm sure Alex would be pleased they way they stepped up. If you're looking for quality and knowledgeable help with your pool this is the place. read more

Very good pool store where they will test your water and give recommendations as to what route to go as far as maintaining your swimming pool....store itself is okay, depends on time of day as to whether they are busy or not...employees all seem pretty knowledgeable and aren't overly pushy when recommending supplies...the supplies are usually more expensive here than elsewhere, I've found the same product in Amazon for significantly less so make sure you check beforehand....of course if you need it immediately then you're kind of stuck but if you can wait a day or two then Amazon is the way to go......will continue to patronize and sometimes purchase from....RECOMMEND read more

Called the store to ask about a pool filter issue. An employee provided some guidance, basically Al I needed was a replacement bolt for a clamp, that saved me $400-$1500. Never leave reviews. Just wanted to give a shout out to someone at Leslie's that helped me out. Thanks! read more

Leslie's is an overall good store for things you need now. They have a pretty complete parts supply for the common failures you might experience. Unfortunately the prices are quite high, as you would expect for brick and morter store, but if you need it now, they probably have it. They also perform free water testing and make recommendations to correct the chemistry for your pool. read more

I really want to thank Mary for helping me out she went totally above and beyond. My pool water started to get cloudy so I took a sample of water and had it tested at Leslie's. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. They gave me a print out report of the water analysis then they were able to recommend a treatment. I will definitely be a repeat customer. read more

What really annoys me is when people look into your eyes and lie to you. Supposedly this place gives a military discount of 10%. Last time I was here I was told they gave me a military discount an the receipt only showed a 5%. Today the guy told me he gave me $6.00 off, WRONG...I was charges full price for the product and tax NO DISCOUNT. Time to take my business to another store. These guys had two chances and the employees are extremely dishonest and disrespectful. To update this review of the poor service feom the service dept. The tech DJ, (Daniel) whom didnt contact me informing me he wasnt making the scheduled appt nor did his Manager or service dept. A client has a appt. And is waiting and No one could contact me to inform me they wouldnt be showing up. This falls in the service side of things. The issue i have with the store Manager Matt is when u tell a customer " let me reach out to the tech and find out where hes at, what the delay is and when he will be there and i will call u back" Well he didnt call me back and i had to reach out to him 90 mins later to find hes out to lunch and still didnt return my call agter that. Alex is amazing. No one else is. Alex is a salesperson, not customer service. AVOID their "Jacuzzi" brand; if you buy it, you cannot find parts anywhere, as it's exclusive to them. It is *not* the same as Pentair, nor do the parts mix. Our first two visits, they had us as lifetime customers. Then when we called them on the phone for a fairly small answer (that Fresh Pool Supply offered in seconds), Leslie's customer service/salesperson says "We can't answer that, call your warranty representative." Their installer was simply obnoxious, nasty, and arrogant as he**. We had paid in full, for over $5K worth of product. After talking to their installer about the install date and his snotty, smarmy attitude, we decided to take a refund and move on to a place with similar prices, but incredible customer service. This store is well equipped and stocked, but the service is so bad it's like going in for a Colonoscopy, you just hate to even think about it, and you dread the fact that you have to go in. You literally can have the item you need in 10 seconds and wait an additional 10 minutes to check out. Since Leslie took this store over, it's gotten way worse than it was under NPS, or whatever it was before. I've been here going on three years and have plenty of experience in this store. I liked it much better when Leslie was across the street. Alex, who has been there forever is a great Tech and very helpful, but for Gods sake, get the man some help! I shopped there for a couple years and over the years I found equipment and supplies on line much cheaper plus every time I would go in it seemed I would have a longer wait time then they bring in new people that are not familiar with the store or anything to do with a pool but recently I had my last straw with this incompetent over priced store. My motor I bought from them about two years ago quit while I was on vacation so nothing going on for two weeks. Boy was I glad it's winter time. When I got home I disconnected the motor and took it in to see wHat was the problem, well I was sold a new pump and motor at $1700 after rebate aNd that was Friday they were going to install Monday. On Monday the guy showed up to install but refused too install because I patched a pin hole in my filter canister. I have three layers of fiberglass on the inside and three layers of fiber glass on the out side one foot square in size and it has been running for the last six month with no problems or leaks. In a way it was a blessing I ended up buying tHe same equivalent motor and pump for $700 and $250 to have it installed that's a $750 discounted price from Leslie's I don't think I'll ever be going back to them to wait for ever then get over charged. read more

I've been using this store exclusively because of the service and knowledge of the workers. I had to replace my pool pump. This was my first time replacing a pump so I expected to keep returning to the store for parts and info. All the employees were very helpful with any questions I had. The store manager (or maybe assistant manager) Matt was awesome. He had ideas about the plumbing and how to configure it so it wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. I wanted to thank him personally, so when the project was completed, I took a pic and went back to the store to show him how everything fit and worked, just as he suggested. Friendly staff but wasted my time with their advertisements. First they sent a coupon in the mail that expired within two days. Second they advertise foam floats, half off if you buy two. I go there and they have just one in stock. So I can't get the deal. He also can't just sell me the one they have at half off. The guy says maybe he can order them but he's not sure if they're available. Why advertise and bring me there just to waste my time and money? Drove far in the rain to come here. I have recently needed a bunch of pool supplies and parts for repairs to my pool as it is older and unfortunately once you repair one thing lots of other things seem to fail. I reached out to a friend who told me to call this Leslie's pool store and ask for Matt. I did just that and Matt went above and beyond to help me. I am not pool part literate and a lot of it I'm sure I did not help but Matt was super patient with me and helped me find the right parts for my pool! It was built by paddock and they're no longer in LV. Matt from just my poor attempt at describing the parts was able to recommend and get me everything I needed! Great customer service......... Al, the store manager, always goes above and beyond to help his customers. Perfect example was today, after explaining the issue that I was having with my pool pump, I called the store and Al was able to walk me through the solution to get the pump running again. Super helpful staff. Richard helped us find filters for our older Master Spa -using the old ones to show him what we needed. We needed two sets, and he only had one set, so he offered to go pick them up at another store and have them back at his store today. Instead we opted to pick them up ourselves, at the one on Dean Martin, since we'd be over that way later.
