Skyfall Lounge: Go to the W Hotel and take a lift to the 64th floor. Come for the view. While not exactly the most impressive view, and the smudged glass being a deterrent to get close, it's still worth visiting. Ample seating indoors with a little outdoors. Most of the tables were reserved the night we went so grab a seat at the bar if you want. If you're in the area, pop in. If not, you're not missing much.
Recently took a brief trip to Vegas - visited Mandalay Bay, one of my favorite resorts on the Strip. They have a panoramic bar high up at the top of the hotel, Skyfall. Finally got there, and heres the good bad and ugly. First, the bar staff was nice, and the space is classy. I went earlier in the evening, and it was not crowded yet. It gave me a chance to check it out. The crowd is a little dressy - I would not go wearing casual beachwear, although I did see a few jeans. I sat at the bar, and the views of the strip were cool. You can also go out onto their balcony, and take photos out there. I left before sunset, but the location is great for viewing the sun setting on the Strip. So a few concerns - when I went up initially, the hostess on the ground floor was not overly friendly or welcoming. If you want a little gatekeeping, this feels like it. Second, the location I sat at when I was at the bar (towards the back, away from the entrance) definitely had an unpleasant smell - like a rank plumbing smell. I kind of endured it for a bit, but when I went to the balcony, there was no smell like that, so I am not sure if it was because I was near the bar prep or refrigeration area or what, but it was unpleasant. I did consider mentioning it to the staff, but I had to go, and did not have time to bring it up. I would consider going back, but hope these items are able to be addressed.
The drinks are well-made and strong. There are a variety of drinks to choose from, but they are on the pricey side. The service is good, I usually walk in midweek without a reservation and sit at the bar top or if it's really empty, I can sit a table. It's really clean and fancy inside. The view of the strip from here is unbeatable! The bathrooms also have a really nice view!
Had a great time at this rooftop lounge in Vegas, located inside the W. The ride up in the glass elevator sets the tone.... it feels classy right from the start. Once you're up on the 64th floor, the views of the Strip are breathtaking! Cocktails were solid and creative, and the bartenders were friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience feel upscale and relaxed. There's also a nice outdoor balcony section that's perfect for photos and taking in the skyline. Overall great experience.... a must-visit spot!
Last night we stumbled upon this lounge in the W after a game. I've been to the location in Dallas before, but this one takes the cake! I loved how you take an elevator directly up to the lounge and it's all glass. You see the beautiful strip as you make your way up. Once you step in, you are greeted and taken to your reserved section. You can place your order and enjoy the beautiful skyline from your seat. It's also an option to step out in a covered outdoor section. Gorgeous! Drinks - I enjoyed the "Setting Sun" under the mocktail section. There was an option to add whiskey. I added Woodford Reserve and it was perfect! Overall, I will give this experience 5/5 . I cannot wait to go back!
A nice cocktail lounge with a great view of the Las Vegas strip. What was nice is the fact that you can make a reservation for a table without having buy a bottle service or meet any minimum charge, like some other lounge, especially when you have a large group. We came on a Saturday night a bit early around 6:30- 7 o'clock the place was moderately busy. What we did not like was that the waitress kept coming back every minute or so asking us if we were ready to order our drinks. We asked for a couple minutes every time, but she kept coming back every single minute. We felt very rushed. So the menus that is posted on yelp a few years back had food. Well there's no food- So don't go thinking that you will be able to get something to eat. There were several text messages asking to confirm prior to our reservation. Yet no mention of the fact that they do not have food, until the very last message, which was about an hour away from our reservation time saying there won't be any food service. Had we known in advance we would picked another venue. Guess that's why they didn't want to tell you in advance. Things that make you go hmmm.
Short review as we went up here to quickly check out the views before heading to dinner. Amazing views of the Las Vegas strip. Definitely try to go here when the sun goes down so you can view the lights of Vegas. Inside is a nice bar with some seating areas along the windows with a view. Would be a great place to hang out with friends, have a few cocktails, and enjoy the views. I would think it could get crowded during the prime times. We went up around 8pm and there was no crowd at all. Check it out if you're in the Mandalay Bay Area.!
Saw the signs for a bar on the 64th floor and had to check it out. We did not make reservations but did go to the bar and spun our seats around - the bartender was ready for that. We had a few great drinks and really enjoyed the view as things transitioned to evening. A person we rode up in the elevator with said it will be fun to see helicopters coming back as things get dark as they return from the Grand Canyon. He was right! While the table seating is all reserved (pretty easy to do), there is a glass walled section outside that is really cool to check out. The vibe here is a classy casual.
Vegas YouTube influencers pointed me to this rooftop bar and it did not disappoint as far as cocktails and view. The only let down is they got rid of food options (may come back in the future). Everything else was a great experience here and seeing the strip from 64 floors up is impressive. I'd recommend making reservations.
Came here for pre-dinner drinks. I had a gin and tonic and it was pretty strong. The service was pretty slow and it was not even that crowded. Ambiance is cool it's a lounge vibe. They have a nice bar. I wish they had more of a beer selection. The main attraction is the view of Vegas from this bar. Also, what is a bit cool/weird is that the views from 2 out of the 3 woman's bathroom stalls you can see outside to the next door hotel. Our waitress was ok.
I was excited to bring my best friend to Skyfall Lounge. Our last time here was about a year ago. We completely loved the food, drinks and views at that time. Unfortunately, at this visit, we learned that the restaurant next door had closed and they no longer served food. Lounge is not as lively as we remember. Dark and appeared under construction. Views are still beautiful. Drinks and service were still great. I recommend for a quick drink and photo op.

Plus, they have a heating lamp if you choose to stand outside and you dont need a reservation to! My husband is very particular about his drinks, so when he says this was his favorite on the trip, you know its either the best or one of the best in town. He put the bartender (sadly dont remember the name. Shouldve noted before hopping to the next) for a challenge and the bartender hit all the marks. He apparently made a $100 espresso martini and its not even on the menu. Literally looks like liquid gold! We wanted to try it another day but he sadly was off for the rest of our stay. Definitely recommend reservation or not! The lounge has a DJ, so it was loud. Some people danced and most people just lounged in their seats. Great vibes all around.
5 star experience! From the express elevator ride, the ultra hip decor, crafted cocktails, and of course the view, I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience! I was seated at a setee overlooking the Vegas skyline. I opted for a classic dirty vodka martini and the charcuterie board. Martini was excellent. Charcuterie was very well presented with three cheeses, three meats and bread and tid bits. I got there about 6:30 and it was not busy. That didn't last. So if you want a good spot, get there before 7 for sure. The table next to me ordered the burrata and tomato appetizer. It looked like a dessert so I had to ask them about it. It was as delicious as it looked. And they also enjoyed the margarita pizza. This is a great spot to enjoy the view, be chill, and not have people parading by. This is definitely a place to go if you are in Vegas! My server LaTisha is an absolute doll! She made sure I felt welcome and relaxed. I mean seriously? Great hospitality is everything. Mwah! Note! They have a semi-dress code. Don't show up in shorts and tennis shoes like i did the first time and they didn't let me up. True story! So go with casual dressy, no flip flops or tank tops.

You will get scenic views, sitting on top of another Vegas hotel. There were plenty of seating by the windows but all of them were reserved when we went. You'll still be able to sit at the bar if you don't make reservations. Grab a drink, enjoy the sunset and night time views, and feel like a Bond villain. Come to Skyfall Lounge if you're in the area. I expected Skyfall Lounge to be a highlight of the night, but it ended up being one of the biggest disappointments of the trip. The room was nearly empty, giving it more of a hotel lobby bar feel than a rooftop lounge in Las Vegas. The crowd skewed older, the vibe was flat, and the cocktail menu felt like an afterthought. No food available at all, which made the whole experience feel even more limited. For a city known for high energy and late nights, Skyfall just didn't show up. A beautiful view can't carry the entire night. read more
Date nights are my favorite. some good quality time seeing new places and sharing an experience. part of the adventure was looking for this bar in one of the side hallways of the casino. you can make reservations online or skip that step if you want to just walk in and try your luck. approach the person at the podium and ask them if you can walk in. they'll check with someone on the walkie talkie and then you'll know if you are invited onto the elevator. there are only 2 elevators so you may need to wait a few minutes. the bar is dim and classy at night. stay warm indoors or walk out into the side patios to feel that cold vegas air. view can be enjoyed in every spot. tables are for reservations only. Shaggy the bartender is 11/10 best bartender in LV if not the world. I come here often and he knows my drink order and gets it ready and even stuffs the olives himself -- fresh! I told all my girlfriends about him. He's the best!! I'll be back -- thank you shaggy!!! read more

Excellent drinks & amazing views of the strip. Definitely make reservations if you want a table with a view. You can also bring your drinks outdoors but it does get crowded along the glass. read more

Gorgeous views of the city, friendly staff and the drinks were well made! My family stopped in before we saw the Cirque du Soleil Michael Jackson show. Ordered a few appetizers and took in the views. We went around 7pm on a Thursday so it was pretty chill. If you visit Vegas, this spot is a must see! Recommend making reservations too. read more
This is one of the best views in Las Vegas and a pretty hidden one too. Right between W and Mandalay Bay, you're brought up to the 64th floor in a see through elevator! The bar has a unique design, but later learned they will be closing in the next year for remodeling! There is an outdoor patio area to enjoy the views from outside. Reservations are required for seating at a table, but you're able to walk in otherwise. The bartender, Shaggy, is amazing! He's been with the company for 25 years and definitely brings you great drinks, laughs and fun conversation. I really enjoyed chatting with him as it wasn't so busy. Thank you Shaggy for making my time there more enjoyable! A unique feature though is the bathroom. The bathroom at least for the women's side has 2 stalls that have you facing the window that you're able to completely see out of as you're doing your business. You definitely won't get a better view than that in the bathroom! Truly a unique spot. The drink I had was a mocktail but it was delicious! I believe it's called Lavender Haze but it really had a good punch of lavender unlike other drinks I've had with lavender in it. I'll definitely be back with friends to share this unique find! read more

This place is beautiful! The views from this place are next level. I strongly recommend having reservations, especially if you want to be able to sit down. I noticed that some other people waited just to go upstairs and get a drink and enjoy the view, but they did not get to sit down because they did not have reservations. There is a private elevator that goes all the way up to the 64th floor! You even see outside as you go up - pretty cool! Amazing view even from our table. Steps away is a door you can walk outside and see the view of the strip. Oh and don't forget to go to the bathroom, there's literally a view from the toilet. Music was good, but I wish it was a bit more happening. Little quiet. Service was good, but not amazing. It did not feel as upscale as some of the other rooftop bars I have tried along the strip (service was better elsewhere, drinks were stronger elsewhere). Our waitress was literally wearing Lululemon leggings. I get it, i love those darn Lulu leggings. But it definitely made it feel a little bit less fancy. Drinks were tasty but didn't get much of a buzz. I would still come back and I'm going to give this place a nice 4.2/5 stars. View was seriously great. read more

Make a reservation. Skyfall lounge is a sight to see. Inside the Delano hotel right next to Michael Jackson One theater. Once checked in you enter a clear Willy Wonka elevator, press any button and you're whisked away to anywhere in the building... but this elevator only has one button right up to the Skyfall lounge. You'll see the Luxor and Mandalay hotels while you're acceding on this fun ride. Walking in first impression, elegant romance. The soft glow of "sit down and enjoy" was a welcomed relief to end the night. The views are stunning you really can't believe you're on the 64th floor. Lounge U shaped low back couches and short stools are gathered around a little fire pit cocktail table. Your party will be rubbing shoulders with the next group if you come on a busy night. Luckily we had a whole area to ourselves. Some areas were empty. You can walk around and see the expansive views throughout the lounge. Service was excellent and accommodating. Really worth visiting to experience the views. read more

Had some friends in town and they wanted to check out Skyfall lounge since they were staying at Mandalay Bay. The ambience is definitely a lounge, more laid-back and chill. It has been a long time since I've been there. The best thing about this place is the view. You get a view of the strip while sipping some cocktails. We got the rose martini, I can't remember the name right now, but it was a rose flavored vodka. The person that ordered it said it was pretty good and did not really taste like rose, he even ordered another one. Last call was at 10:45 PM and we arrived around 9:30 PM. We had two rounds of drinks and just enjoy the view. Our waitress, was a little condescending and rude. I don't recall her name, but every interaction was not pleasant. That is the reason for the three stars we asked her to take our picture and she kind of rolled her eyes at us and said that we had to give her a couple minutes . She was particularly condescending to my husband. I would still definitely take friends here since it's a nice place to start the night off with a beautiful view. I would just hope to not get that particular waitress. read more

There is an elevator that takes you up. It is actually only accessible via the elevator.
