This is one of the only reviews I have ever written and I must say that Skylight exceeded my expectations and will be my go to for any and all electrical needs I have in my home. I spoke with Miguel and he was professional and to the point. I don't have much knowledge on anything electrical and feel like many places take advantage of that. I had a good experience with Skylight Electrical for an new attic fan installation. They came out and gave me a quote and once I'd decided, they were able to schedule the work quickly. Miguel handled the communications and was always prompt with responding over email, which I prefer to phone calls or texts. He did a great job of helping me through the permitting process. Juan and Luis were the team sent out to do the work and they were very polite and customer oriented. Both days they went over the work to be done and made sure the details were the way I wanted them and then reviewed things at the end of the day or whenever I went out to check how things were going. They were able to work with the special order air intake that I wanted to match the style of the house. The work was neatly done, with no unnecessary mess, and they cleaned everything up afterward. I'd be happy to have these guys do work for me again. read more

Skylight Electrical just completed a recessed lighting job in my kitchen and hung two new fans in my living room. I am extremely happy with the finished job. Luis and Juan were the two workers and completed the job in about a day and a half. These two young men were fabulous. They are friendly, prompt, meticulous, and overall excellent professionals. They showed up on time both days and worked the entire day with a small break for lunch. They would consult with me whenever there were decisions to be made and also would present options for how the recessed lights could be placed. They cleaned up their work area and left my house exactly as when they arrived. This is a wonderful electrical service and I already have them pegged for another project. If there were more stars, they'd deserve it. Skylight lives up to their good reviews for sure! 5 stars all the way! These guys are very knowledgeable on all things electrical. They are very professional, courteous, friendly and make you feel at ease with the work they are performing. It was easy to communicate with them, they answered every question, even during the weekend, and kept us updated with the whole process. They upgraded our electrical panel to bring in more amps, something very much needed for the demands of today's electrical devices. I've met the whole crew....Miguel, Luis, Juan, Frankie, and Jason....I call them the A-Team. They handled the whole process with the city and PGE.....something I know would have driven me crazy. He even went up into the attic. When I mentioned we recently moved in and am not very familiar with the house yet he was incredibly helpful asking if I have any additional electrician questions! That's really going above and beyond! Value wise they are very competitive! Skylight Electrical Services was recommended by Chad Tobin "The Blind Butler" because we are having electrical shades installed on our back patio by his business. Skylight electricians Frankie and Jason came out and installed 2 separate outdoor outlets from our attic (it was a pretty warm day too and I'm sure it was hot in the attic) which made it look clean, no conduit running on the outside of our new home. They were prompt, clean uniforms and friendly. I enjoyed talking with these two young men as they finished up. They did excellent work! They made sure to laydown a floor cover when they accessed the attic with their ladder and they picked up all the packing material etc. before leaving. I will be utilizing their services again should I need electrical work done. The price to install was very reasonable and they were able to come out within days of giving me a bid for services. Skylight Electrical Services did an exceptional job changing out our kitchen lights. Luis Robles showed his professional knowledge replacing the fluorescent lights with recessed lights. He was assisted by Joel throughout the process. The placement of the lights transformed our kitchen dramatically, making it appear bigger! The large cavity in the ceiling that housed the old lights was nicely covered, and blended well with the rest of the ceiling. They protected the work area from top to bottom. I woke up with an electrical noises emanating from my wall on a Sunday. Skylight showed up Monday morning with masks on. I told them the household was fully vaccinated and that they did not have to wear their mask which they replied that it was company policy and kept their mask on.
