I had a great experience with this company. I called because the track lighting in my loft had started flickering after I replaced the old fixtures with LEDs. The system dates back to around 2000, and I assumed the old track itself was incompatible with the newer LED fixtures and would need to be upgraded or replaced. The electrician could easily have sold me on a much larger and more expensive project. Instead, he actually diagnosed the problem. He noticed that the lights were stable when the dimmer was turned all the way up and determined that the track system itself was perfectly fine--the problem was that the fixtures/system weren't designed to be dimmed. He replaced the dimmer with a simple on/off switch, and the flickering disappeared completely. I especially appreciated that he found the simplest correct solution rather than recommending unnecessary work. Knowledgeable, efficient, and trustworthy. Definition of a group that cuts corners, some downright dangerous. We hired these guys to do work on our house before we moved in last year. Just now we've finally realized how dangerous some of the work they did was. Save yourself the headache and hire someone else. Also, pull a permit! Examples: Leaving LIVE Hot cut wires under the house uncapped exposed. Using wrong brand breakers: this caused an arc on the main panel. Breaker may actually fit but it's not designed to work with the panel, and if anything happened insurance will not cover it. See the picture with the burn mark on the breaker. 240V dryer outlet install: using an outdated 3-wire outlet, and the ground as a bare wire neutral. Mis-drilling a hole from crawl space and trying to cover up the damage in my brand new floors. Not putting protective covers on the floors or bathtubs when doing work. Our brand new bathtub has chips because of them being sloppy. read more
