This place is fantastic. The food is delicious. It comes fast. The service is terrific. Wish the location was better for people to see it and give it a try. I am obsessed with the thin shredded cheese over a 5-way. The Greek salad is also terrific. Lots of flavor and fresh. Give Cincinnati-style chili a try! For years, I have heard about how great Skyline Chile is so when one came to town we had to try it. Boy, was that a mistake. I'm not even sure they should be allowed to call this gunk chili. Absolutely disgusting and inedible. Tasted like pure sugar. The only saving grace is that their portions are so small you don't have much of this vile slop to try to finish. Stay away. Our first visit to this new Skyline Chili in Fort Wayne did not disappoint. We have always enjoyed their food and were happy to see One come to the Fort. A cheese dog and chili three way fix hit the spot on a cool autumn day. The wife enjoyed their cheddar baked potato...and as always they have the yummy puffy oyster crackers complementary as you sit down. Wait staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions. Love skyline, but this location is lacking. First, they didn't place my order until I pulled up to the window. Second, after waiting in line for my meal they then tell me they do not accept Amex. So you wasted time in the drive thru, would have waited longer at the window for my food since you had yet to place it and then don't accept payment! read more

I'm disappointed that they don't spend a little more money and use beef or turkey hotdogs. Pork hotdogs are cheap and nasty. We were hoping this would be the one hotdog place in Fort Wayne that offered pork free dogs but no. We will not be returning here. read more

I was traveling here for work. I had the burrito on recommendation from the manger. It was a flat burrito filled with soupy chili. Was under impressed. I then tried this place a second time. Still bad.I did not expect the food to homemade, but it tasted like it came out of a can. I would suggest any of the other places within 5 minutes drive. read more

(I posted this review on 8/24/2017. The restaurant page was mysteriously removed from Yelp, and soon after reappeared without my review.) First time experience with a Skyline Chili restaurant. Ordered a good mix off the menu - Cheese Coneys, 5 way, Chilito, Chicken strip basket, and Fries. Coneys were good, 5 way was good, Chicken was good, Chilito was decent enough, but the fries were painfully under cooked and almost room temperature. Just plain soggy. The owner was at the register and appeared to be exhausted and even needed help ringing up our order for carryout. I understand this was the 3rd day after opening and at 8:00 pm. But It seemed like he was beyond stressed out and not prepared for the business he should have expected for the first few days after opening. The rest of the staff appeared to be helpful and attentive to everyone inside. The location leaves much to be desired. Demographics will show a large number of vehicles passing by here on Lima road and Wells street, but it is not convenient for traffic to enter or exit the area. I expect this business will suffer due to the location more than anything else in the near future. Fort Wayne could benefit from a Skyline Chili restaurant in a better location. This one needs help in more ways than one. read more

Food is the same as any skyline and came out fast. It's a little guilty pleasure of mine from when I lived in Cincinnati. I was a little put off when I wasn't greeted when I walked in and wasn't sure what to do, also when the young server didn't introduce herself. I found out that you should seat yourself after waiting in line at the register. I noticed there were several empty tables. The waitresses were young and friendly and the manager went around asking how things were. You pay at the register when you are finished. read more

Classic Skyline chili. Service was a bit slower than what I'm accustomed to in Cincinnati but theyre still going through the training so they should receive a pass for now. Definitely recommend the classic 3-way and cheese coney. read more

My first chilli dog tasted much better than my second one and they put a lot of cheese on their food and I took it off and even asked for less cheese, it's a pretty good place but not the best Coney dog I've ever had. (I've had really good Coney dogs before the bar was set really high) I loved the oyster crackers and kept them for leftovers. Bye fam. read more
