I have been here twice and both times was so disappointed. First the door was dirty second the food does not taste like it is made fresh third the wanton soup was made with boxed broth two wanton and two tiny pieces of dried up pork. It was totally the cheapest easiest to make food ever. so if you want to be in business cut the short cuts and make authentic food. don't just open cans and boxes and expect people to pay high prices for that food. read more

The roll is decent sized and filled with fresh and cool ingredients. The roll also features several pieces of moist pork and tasty shrimp. The wrapper is a bit sticky but holds the contents together very well. The roll has a very attractive appearance as well. The peanut sauce is very tasty as well. It is somewhat thick so the roll can be dipped easily. The sauce has a nice creamy and bold peanut flavor. Overall it is rather mild in taste without a spicy kick. Just a quick update: Kim Vu remains our favorite Vietnamese restaurant in town. Best Pho...so good that it's hard for me to order anything else from the varied menu. Everything hubby tries is delicious from noodle dishes to Bahn Mi sandwiches to the special rice dish with pork chop (one of his favs). Owner is so friendly. Food is served fresh and hot. An array of sauces available to suit one's taste and/or desire for heat. Simple atmosphere. Outstanding food! Started with crispy crab Rangoon and excellent egg rolls served with an extremely tasty sweet and sour dip. My egg drop soup with fresh sprouts and lettuce and jalapeños peppers were fresh and very spicy! The soup was filled with dumplings, noodles and pork! Topped with cilantro it was great! The owner showed me how to add the perfect amount of hot sauce to my taste. My wife had chicken and veggies on fried noodles and raved about the sauce! We will return! This place got so busy today for lunch - they ran out of tables, and were handing actual boxes full of food out the drivethru window. Tasted good, they don't use msg, and though there was no decor at all to speak of and the term 'hole in the wall' definitely comes to mind, it didn't smell bad. (Always a good - and rare - thing.) They have a simple menu of about 16-18 dishes, numbered with photos on big posters on the wall. (The extent of the decor) They serve noodles, fried rice, pho, some Chinese dishes like orange or sesame chicken, egg rolls, crab rangoons, banh mi and Vietnamese dumplings. There were lots of families enjoying eating here - it's a good place for kids to eat something relatively healthy and hot and REAL and cheap at $9-$12 a dish. The bathroom was a bit frightening, but - well, you could always try and hold it. Or go before you go. There's also a little shrine on the floor full of the biggest, most beautiful garlic you've ever seen. read more

And honestly, these are my favorite crab rangoons in the world now. The WORLD. I don't know why, but they're just so much better than everywhere I've had them! It's a small restaurant, so when it's packed (and it often is), it'll be a bit of a wait to get a seat. But oh man, is it worth the wait. What to say other than this is the best pho spot in Fort Wayne I can say by far, you can read my other reviews on pho spots out here, but this is the best by far for broth and price. The place is very authentic with the staff running the place, they were very nice. The music was in Vietnamese mixed with music from todays hit artists. Now for the food. The pho was really good broth wise and noodles weren't soggy like the other spots in the area within a 20 mile radius. I only wish they had tripe and tendon, but the broth carries! The egg roll was delicious along with the Vietnamese dumpling. The bahn mi was great, except the meat wasn't grilled like other places and it was cut and prepared differently, just the veggies and bread was good not really the meat. Truly delicious. I knew we were in the right spot as soon as I saw a lot of Asian families/individuals were sitting in the restaurant. I even saw that one of the families was speaking fondly to one of the family members who ran the business. I had the pho and the spring rolls here. I could believe how generous the size was for their spring rolls that it put others to shame.
