We liked it! If you're a big chili fan it gives you tons of options between hot dogs, spaghetti, mac and cheese, and you can add onions (which I wish were grilled), beans, and cheese. Service I have to say is super up there. We had a great server who was attentive even while serving multiple parties. Great atmosphere. They have tons of seating so it's great for large groups. It seems to be more of an east coast thing. Worth a try again if you're a chili fan. read more

I was at the small Pilot store outside of Florence, Ky so I went over to the Skyline around 9 am today. It was a small place on a hill and had a parking lot with lots of space. The food was great like all their stores. The store was clean and lots of space. The Staff was very friendly and put a lot of care into their work. I think they were the friendliest Skyline staff; I have meet in the last 3 years. I send them all a huge hug. I live in Cincinnati, but this is where I will be taking my next date to eat. Skyline is one of my top 3 places to eat, so I go to them often. read more

Service was fast, food was hot and tasty. Party of two we got 3 ways and loaded cheese coneys our server Jenna was great and friendly. She stopped by our table several times to see if we needed anything and made sure our meal was good. Thanks Jenna. read more

Just ordered through Door Dash. Our order was missing one item, the four ways were missing the onions, and they did not send any crackers and hot sauce. What a joke, will never order from this location again. read more

Clean restaurant, friendly and helpful staff, fast service, predictably good chili. The vegetarian option is not as good as Gold Star, but still enjoyable. This is a must try/stop every time we're in Kentucky. read more

This was the worst skyline experience I have had. The young man making the food was clearly not interested in his job, rather than talking to the other high school kids working there. Perhaps not so much bleach on his hair will help him focus on the task at hand. Portion sizes were beyond small. Service was less than adequate. It was as if we were inconveniencing the high school junior class meeting. Whatever adult was working was completely incompetent. Avoid this skyline location, because it does not meet the standard of their brand. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

Used to love this location while in High school and college, but it's now gone completely downhill. Previous to today the past three experiences have been very poor with a waitress (the same one) forgetting our drinks until we were almost done with our meal, and not coming to check on us to know she forgot them. The other was a very rude employee who barely acknowledged us when we went to pay. Today we tried to go, sat down and waited 8-10 minutes, didn't get a single welcome or hello when we walked in, then 6 employees were sitting at their counter just hanging out (two on their phones) and still didn't come to take care of us. When I asked for a manager, supposedly one of them was one of the girls just sitting their watching us and didn't really seem to care.... needless to say we're done going there because mall road skyline and Houston road skyline are leaps and bounds better and seem to actually care about their customer service and guest happiness. read more

I went to the one in Lexington, KY and it brings me back to my memory of this one; one of the few times I actually had a reason to go to northern KY. Well, actually, it was because of my college floormate at the time, but still..good chili with the hot sauce. Pretty crazy we have one of these in Lexington now! Skylines are not all equal. This location is friendly and attentive even during the lunchtime rush. I can't explain why but some Skylines are more runny than others. This Skyline keeps the consistency just right - thick and flavorful with still enough juice for the oysters cracker to do what they were put on this earth for. I live in NYC so when I'm in town and ready for a three way and cheese coney, I'll go out of my way to eat at this friendly, delicious location. read more

I have been going to this Skyline for over three years every Sunday to get a 5 way potato with extra chili. I always get charged under $1 for the extra chili. I decided to go on Friday to get the same thing. When I got my order there was not extra chili. I asked for an small side to add too it (I have done this many times without an additional charge). When I asked today, the manager came over and said that they would have to charge me for a side. I have already paid for extra chili. So instead of making it right like they always have, they charged me an additional $2.22 on top of the extra amount that I have already paid. This is not acceptable to pay over $3 for something that I have always got for less then $1. Lesson learned. Don't go there during the day on Fridays. read more

Will never go back to this Skykine. They have messed our order up three of the last four times. Had to go back up there because the size of one of the Chilitos was so small and they forgot the crackers and hot sauce again even after i asked if they put them in the bag. Instead of an apology the manager was so rude and tried to tell us that the Chilito was the right size. Problem is we ordered three of them and the other two were fine. Curious why the young lady who just took my cash for my drive thru order went straight to a metal tub of shredded cheese and started bagging and weighing them for future drive thru orders did so without washing her hands or wearing gloves!!! Seems just a little unsanitary if you ask me. read more

I always get cheese coneys (no hot dog!) when I come home to Northern KY. This place was clean with a super friendly waitress. The coney (or chili cheese sandwich as it's called without a hot dog) was just exactly what I wanted. And the little oyster crackers they serve when you sit down are truly addictive. read more

YAY! Totally a fan! Since I visited some locals to the Cinci/ Kentucky area, they told me I needed to try this place because of their product. And they were right! Everything is topped with a sweeter kind of chili; a kind even sweeter than Steak N' Shake chili. And on top of everything is MOUNDS and MOUNDS of cheese. Seriously, I watched them top some in the back and they literally used 5 huge handfuls of shredded cheddar just before serving them to me! Anyways, I had a coney, which was very small compared to your average coney. However, I also got some cheddar chili cheese fries, which were also topped with these mounds of cheese even after some was melted on top. Overall, a great place to go if you're in the area... This chain outnumbers Mickey D's here so it is easy to find a location! read more

This is probably the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been to. The floor was completely covered in cheese that had been ground into the carpet. It took seven minutes for the busser to come and clean off a table for us, and when he did, he just smeared the cheese around the table with a dry cloth. There were only three other occupied tables in the building and yet every other unoccupied table lay untouched by the busser. The food was over cooked and the spaghetti was completely mushy. When my brother went to the counter to ask for more mustard there were five people behind the counter and no one looked up to help him. I know Skyline is known for its dingy back home feel, but this is too much. You're better off buying the Cincinnati chili spice packet from kroger and making your own at home. At least that way you know your noodles won't be so over cooked that they've turned to pudding. read more

Food is good when you get the right thing. I went through the drive-thru today - the cashier/girl who took my order was rushed, didn't read my order back to me, and gave me the wrong thing. I went through a second time and she was snippy (apparently it was my fault they got my order wrong) and, again, gave me the wrong thing. The correct order was cheaper than the one they gave me and no one offered to refund my money. I didn't bother to correct anything the second time; I'm just never going back and will be letting all the people I know there are better places to get their food. read more

Tried to go here for lunch today. All open tables were dirty. The whole restaurant was dirty. We stood by a dirty table and waited. Someone cleaned it off but didn't wipe it off. Sat for 10 more minutes and still no waitress. Left and went to Richwood Skyline. It was much cleaner and much faster. This was not the first time for bad service at Union. read more

I had not been to this location for some time and I may not return. Last night, every table was filled with dirty dishes - there was literally no place to sit. There was plenty of staff and only 10 families. The manager seemed focused on the hot dogs and nothing else. If I were the owner I would be livid. The only person working hard was pregnant and I could not believe she had no help. As one staffer showed up for her shift she basically stood around for 20 mins doing nothing and her hair was not pulled back in a way you expect in a restaurant. Very poorly managed. There are plenty of other locations-avoid this one. Even if there had been a big rush they had the staff to recover. We actually have a lot of memories from that location. Too bad it is has gone downhill. read more

I had never eaten at Skyline Chili's restaurant before and decided to try it out. We walked in and looked around for a place to sit. All the booths were dirty. I looked up at the employees standing around, at least 4, and one of them said, "Pick out a booth and we will clean it off." We turned around and walked out. I moved back from California. First thing I wanted was Skyline, not Gold Star. So I had some of my coworkers Brett and Charles help me move, so I rewarded them with Skyline Chili in Union off of 42. I order the large Chili 3 way and 2 cheese coney with everything on it....the flavor was sensational. I got to admit they are very generous on the shredded cheese topping. Service has been very bad last few visits. The servers seem to just not care about their job and shows little interest in actually serving their customers. I live very close to this location and have gone here for years. Although I'm a true skyline fan I've never left this restaurant satisfied weather it's dining in or taking the drive thru. The employees act as if they have something better to do than take ur order, give refills, or make your food the correct way. I don't know if it's a food table design error or what, but they're cheese has onions in it every single time no matter if you order onions or not. Also if you order anything in the drive thru they forget to give you hot sauce, crackers, napkins, straws, and silverware. Although I've had very many unpleasant experiences at this location the most recent is what angered me enough to write a review. I went though the drive thru and ordered 3 orders of chili cheese fries, 1 3way, 1 cheese coney plain and a large Pepsi and also told them to put hot sauce and crackers in the bag. I pull up and pay, get the food and my drink and begin to pull out of the parking lot and look down and yup, they forgot hot sauce and crackers after specifically being told to put them in the bag. But I say what ever and go home. But then I realize they didn't give me any plastic forks for the 3 orders of chili cheese fries and the 3way. And no napkins. And as if they wasn't enough, my coney had onion AND mustard. There were also onions all over in the cheese for the fries as always!!! This location is horrible and I do not recommend. I've given them countless chances to redeem themselves. So now I drive 10 minutes away to a different skyline anytime I'm craving Cincinnati chili. I do not recommend coming here!!! read more

We arrived at 9:30. The door was unlocked. We were served as we should have been. However, half of the chairs were up and our server was vacuuming around us as was the manager. We complained and were told the restaurant was closed. Why then would you not lock the doors and/or tell us that they were closed. The server rolled her eyes when we sat down. When asking for a drink refill, it was brought to us with no ice. We were very disappointed in the service tonight. read more
