    Fresh cut Large Fries
    Kim A.

My hungry teenage boys asked to stop by for lunch. This location is conveniently located in Florence KY on mall road. First glance as we pulled up was inviting. There is plenty of parking, the restaurant was very clean and organized and the restrooms were well maintained. The restaurant was nicely decorated and fun. The ambiance was bright and fun. We were greeted by the friendly staff when we entered and placed our large order to go. While we waited, we made our drinks and enjoyed some peanuts - so fun! We watched as our food was freshly prepared. I like the option to pick your toppings for your burgers. We all like something different and like this option. The Freestyle Coke machine was fun and the drink area was very clean and organized. The tables were clean and well organized. Our order was quickly prepared and packed nicely. The hand cut fries were fresh, overflowing and filled the bag. The staff were very friendly and gave us a small bag for napkins and ketchup- nice touch. We took our burgers, fries and drinks to enjoy at the park. The fries were hot and delicious. The burgers were huge and so good. Everyone enjoyed their food. It's rare to have happy and full teenagers!

I tried using the website to make an order. It was super easy. The problem was, I didn't get a notification that my order was ready. And out of 5 people working, only one wore a mask. Now the food is the usual great food that I expect. Delicious, juicy burger. Hot fries. I really would like to see the use of masks by people preparing the food.

So the forgot to put mushrooms and bacon on my burger. No biggie right? Just make a new one. What is this? What am I supposed to do with this? Make my own burger? What did I pay for? Worst Five Guys experience ever.

Five Guys fries. Plentiful and delicious.

Five Guys is a well regarded burger chain and this is its location on Mall Road in Florence. I had to get a carryout on this occasion although indoor dining options were available at the time I went here albeit at a limited capacity. They're a very traditional, no frills joint in that they do burgers and fries and not a ton else (they do have delicious hot dogs although I didn't get one this time.) Any burgers are their game and theirs are definitely one of the best. Although they a very extensive toppings list fkr you to choose from to put on your burger I went with only ketchup, mustard, cheese, and hot sauce. The meat is very high quality and is where all of the flavour is at. Juicy and cooked to absolute perfection it was the perfect patty. The condiments I chose supported it very well including the hot sauce which tasted like Frank's Red Hot or at least something very similar to that. It was fantastic. Unfortunately with my long trip between Five Guys and my house my fries ended up being soggy and disappointing. That's by no means their fault and I'll say right here that their fries are some of the best and most plentiful but you gotta eat them at the restaurant while their still hot. In any case the food was delicious and the staff were friendly and efficient so a very good carryout experience from Five Guys in Florence.

I like the fries well enough. And the burgers are decent. I suppose I need to order a burger with less on it, as I always make a big mess. At any rate, it could be a little cheaper for what you get. And I've had better burgers at five guys in California, but hey, not all locations can be winners, right? The employees are great. Just not THE place I go to when craving a burger. I just go when my friends want to.

Disappointing service, stingy with the toppings I got a 9$ burger in a pan and I didn't even get the normal portions of lettuce and tomato or onion that come with a Burger on a bun! Cheese wasn't All the way melted either. They weren't busy so that's not even a excuse. The place is a hazard floors are extremely slippery every90%of the tables were wet or had food on them. I didn't want to eat there but couldn't drive and eat either. Overall disgusting disappointing and don't go there.

The employees at this location are very friendly. The burgers are always piping hot and delicious. I usually get the "little" bacon cheeseburger which is anything but little. One of my favorite things about five guys is that they use fresh jalapeños instead of pickled jalapeños. It really makes all the difference. Pair your burger with fresh cut Cajun fries and dig in!!

Meh! Better than McDs. Not as good as a local bar burger for the price. Always get a ton of fries.

You've got everything from burgers and loaded fries to sushi rolls, which sounds like an odd combo but somehow works perfectly. The vibe is casual and upbeat, with TVs around for games and a lively crowd most nights. It's the kind of place where you can go with kids, meet friends for drinks, or just grab a quick dinner without feeling rushed. Food-wise, the burgers are consistently good juicy, flavorful, and actually cooked right. The sushi is surprisingly fresh for a non-traditional sushi spot, I love the surf and turf roll, me and my husband get it everytime, and it's a fun option if you want to mix things up. The appetizers are definitely worth it too, especially if you're sharing.

We sat outside last night and there is litter all over the place. (See photos). We had to try 4 different tables to sit somewhere without trash and food on the ground at our feet. And the outside tables were sticky. Once we saw someone wiping down tables. Not often enough in my opinion. And food is not the best. Extremely salty and greasy. The Caesar salad was good but the patty melt lacked the flavor punch I expected. I only ate half of it. My husband said the same thing about his morning glory burger. Happy hour specials are decent but probably not good enough for us to come back for our regular Thursday happy hour meet up.

It is located in a Kroger strip mall area but is slightly higher class than what one might think when they hear that. It was a weird off-peak time so it was no issue getting seated right away and service was pretty good. We started our late lunch and our vacation with a cocktail, both of which were pretty tasty! I wanted to make sure I got some veggies in me before a week+ of vacation eating, so I got a side salad, which was pretty ample for a side! I also got the mushroom ricotta dip appetizer as a "meal" and it was pretty delicious! Cheese, mushrooms and carbs...you can't go wrong with that in my opinion! We had an okay time, and we were able to dawdle and not be rushed. It wasn't our first choice on the day and likely wouldn't be at another time, but it was more than decent as a secondary/back-up choice for a place to eat.

We had the sliders and chicken and waffles. On the adult menu we tried the cod dinner, hot honey chicken sandwich and pretzels and beer cheese. They also had a great selection of desserts.

While traveling in northern Kentucky, he stumbled upon one of these places, The Farmstand Market & Cafe. Farmstand offers comfort food with a farm-to-table focus served in a cozy space with a bar and attached market. We started with the Goetta Hanky Panky Dip. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The pastrami was dry but had a good salty flavor. The sauerkraut was crunchy and had a good sour flavor cutting through the salty meat and the sweet dressing. The cheese was gooey and nutty and added flavor to each bite. I sampled the French dip sandwich and Mulligatawny soup. This was prepared with a sliced top round with provolone on a French roll. The soup was prepared with rice, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, lentils and spices. The chicken was very tender, the rice was cooked well, and the vegetables added texture to the rice. The soup was flavorful, had a wonderful aroma, and had a good salt content. The top round was thin and offered good flavor and chew. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. The Fat Man says that The Farmstand Market & Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.
