Mini Coney's were so cute, delicious, and probably could have eaten five or six of them. Easy to see what all the fuss is about. Those are really good. I love Skyline Chili. Everyone that I visit is prepared the same - AMAZING! I am very happy to see they have opened Skyline Chili restaurants outside of Ohio. The food is so good. I always get the three-way. While not exciting, it is my favorite. You can get chili on top of pasta or atop a hot dog. There are many options to choose from, so give them a try. I've gone here a few times and everyone is always so friendly! Having gone to college in Cincinnati, there's always a bit of nostalgia with Skyline and I love that it's in Central Florida. You can't beat a coney piled high with cheese! And even better they have Busken cookies and Graeter's ice cream too (ifkyk). On my most recent trip, I want to give a shout out to Justin. Our server, Helen, was extremely friendly and everything came out lightning fast. The chili has a strong cinnamon flavor which I like, but not everyone might. I've visited the Skyline Chili in Flamingo Crossings before but wanted to come back to try two new items - Chicken chili and Skyline Spice ice cream from Graeter's (yes, ice cream! With oyster crackers!). Skyline Chili has table service, which was surprising to me when I first came here as I thought it would be a fast food or fast casual concept. But, instead, we seated ourselves at a table and a server came over to take our drink orders and provide us with bags of oyster crackers. Justin, the server, was very friendly and accommodating, and made sure to say "Hello!" and "Welcome!" to everyone that entered the restaurant. I asked him about the new chicken chili, and he said that it was really good and was a leaner meat than the beef. He then said he would get me a sample to try, which was really nice of him. He came back with a small dish of not just the ground chicken chili but a tiny 3-way with spaghetti and shredded cheese as well. I have to say, I really couldn't tell the difference between the chicken and the beef since the same spices and preparation was used. A primer on the Skyline Chili menu - most items include the chili prepared in different ways. A 3-way is spaghetti (or a different base such as hot dogs), chili, and a big mound of shredded cheddar cheese. A 4-way is the same but adds either beans or onions. And a 5-way is a 3-way but with both beans and onions. I ordered the chicken chili 3-way with spaghetti, chili and cheese, and decided on the small size since I knew I was getting ice cream for dessert (it comes in small, medium and large sizes). My mom got a 3-way but in medium size, and also got the chicken, while my dad ordered a Coney chili bowl, with the beef chili. There was a bit of confusion on his bowl because, for some reason, the bowls are listed on the website but not on the menu in the restaurant. He said he wanted it all the way, which would usually mean the 5-way. For the Coney Bowl, 3 hot dogs are the base, which replaces the normal spaghetti, and then it comes with the chili, cheese, onions... and mustard. My dad didn't know about the mustard and when his meal came, he was searching for the beans. It ended up fine because he liked it anyways and Justin did apologize that he didn't explain what it came with. My small did look small but I find once I eat all the spaghetti, chili, and loads of shredded cheese on top, it's pretty filling. For those who have never had Cincinnati chili before, it has cinnamon as one of its main spices, so it does taste a bit sweet to me. After we finished our meals, I ordered a "Big Scoop" of the Skyline Spice ice cream, which is a 5 oz container of the Graeter's ice cream flavor. Justin warned us that the ice cream contains oyster crackers as well, LOL. I actually liked the ice cream! It tasted like a spice cake to me, or gingerbread. And it was surprising when I would get an oyster cracker in a bite - somehow, they were still crunchy! At Skyline, you don't pay the server, you go up to the counter to pay your check. While I was there, I perused the freezer with other Graeter's ice cream flavors and ended up picking up a pint of Buckeye Blitz chip. If you are a fan of Graeter's Ice Cream, they do carry quite a lot of flavors here. The ice cream is pricey but has some interesting Midwest flavors that you can't find locally. I don't always have a craving for Cincinnati chili but it's nice that we now have a local place to find it. read more

Okay, every city in the Northeast has there version of a Chli cheese dog. For me, growing up in Buffalo, it was a greek based sauce, with onions and mustard. Now finding that, isn't easy in Florida. Sure, there are places with chili cheese dogs, but there sauce never matches up. Skyline's pretty good. Sauce wise, it's not quite what I got back home but it does the job. I first heard about skyline when my sister-in-law lived in Cincinnati and she absolutely raved about it so of course upon her most recent visit I had to take her there so she could relive her life back there. I just ordered one of the chili cheese hot dogs while she seemed to order half the menu. She indulged in chili four-way a chili cheese dog and a salad and talk about your quick service everything was out in a matter of minutes hot and fresh and ready to go. Finally got to eat at the Skyline chili in Orlando. I lived in Cincinnati years ago and used to frequent the Skyline chili restaurants. It was pretty easy to find once we landed in Orlando. It's located next to a Firehouse Sub restaurant . These's plenty of parking. The building was really clean and appeared very new. There's lots of cool "Cincy " foods represented there. I noticed Graters ice cream and other Cincy products. I forgot it was seated restaurant style service. We were immediately helped by a server. She gave me the allergy menu as well. They had lots of gluten friendly choices. I ordered the chili 3 way. Chili, cheese and onions. It was exactly how I remembered it. I love the hint of cinnamon flavor. Recently my wife and I went to the new Skyline Chili for dinner. This wasn't our first time having a meal with Skyline, we dined in Cincinnati several times. This restaurant is a Cincinnati favorite with a long history. Founded in 1949 by Greek immigrant Nicholas Lambrinides, Skyline Chili is named for the view of Cincinnati's skyline that Lambrinides could see from the first restaurant. The chili itself is unique in that it is not chili con carne, the meat dish that originated in (and is the state dish of) Texas. Instead, Cincinnati chili is a sauce usually used over spaghetti or hot dogs, containing a unique spice blend that gives it a very distinct, sweet-and-savory taste. As soon as you enter you have to wait to be seated. The host/hostess will find you a seat fairly quickly. You have a clear view of the open kitchen area. The restaurant is a basic sit-down that has counter seating as well. They also have a few tv's throughout the dining area. Once we were seated our server came to our table immediately. My wife and I knew what we wanted and didn't hesitate. *I ordered a small 3 way ( spaghetti, covered with chili and topped with a mound of shredded cheddar cheese) and a side Greek salad(Romaine lettuce, cucumbers, red onions, grape tomatoes, seasoned chickpeas, Kalamata olives, sliced pepperoncinis and feta cheese; with Skyline's original-recipe Greek dressing) The 3 way is just absolutely delicious and the perfect amount of food for me. This chili is the best I've ever had thus far in my life. The homemade Greek dressing is simply amazing. It has a nice spice to it and it needs to be bottled if it's not already.* My wife ordered a Cheddar potato and a bowl of chili. To no surprise she loved the chili of course and the potato was definitely a cheddar potato. The cheese was melted perfectly. The service is great here. This was a nice eat after Epcot/Disney. It's a flavor of chili that's not like anything else. They put it on top of some spaghetti -- it's like a meat sauce . Skyline is a classic iconic restaurant found mostly in the Ohio area. They were founded I believe in Cincinnati. They are known for their chili. But their chili is not your typical chili. It has almost a sweetness/cinnamon flavor. They have finally made their way to Orlando! We are super excited and could not wait to try it. This is located in the Flamingo Crossing area; they have to go as well as dine in. We went on a cold night after spending the day in the park. Chili was the perfect meal! Their menu is not very large, they have chili in many different ways: just a bowl, on top of spaghetti, on a potato, on a hot dog and even on fries. They also have unique items such as burritos, wraps, salads, and even chicken tenders. I went for the bowl topped with lots of cheese, my favorite part! It was a larger size bowl, so it was great as a meal. They also bring you bags of crackers once you sit down. I also ordered one of their potatoes with just cheese. The potato was how I prefer, covered in cheese. However, it was a little dry, I had to ask for sour cream and butter. It was ok, but I don't know if I would order the cheese potato again. My husband ordered the classic chili spaghetti. It was a bowl of spaghetti topped with their chili and cheese. This is also another classic Skyline dish, and it was very good! He ordered the small which was actually a really big serving. They also had two other sizes, medium and large. I can't even imagine what the large size was. He really enjoyed this, it was hot and fresh and the spaghetti with chili and cheese was just so delicious. He also ordered a small Greek salad. He enjoyed the salad and was a really nice freshness to dishes that are heavier. The servers all sort of work together so someone is always checking on you. All in all, this was a great experience. This was an interesting experience. We stopped into the new Skyline Chili that opened up next to my family's spot in Florida. We had never had it before even though I had heard so much about it at work and even gone by the original years ago in Cincy on my way home to Buffalo on a road trip. So when this opened up, we knew we had to go. My brother and I went over and ordered just one basic chili. They call it a 3-Way. It consisted of steaming spaghetti covered with their secret-recipe chili and topped with a mound of shredded cheddar cheese. The cheese and crackers came on the side. (Side note: they also don't offer a Disney Cast Member discount) I don't really know what it is about this chili. I have never had spaghetti with my chili before so that was new. The sauce had a very familiar taste but I couldn't place it. We all split the chili and gave our opinions on it. I was in the minority when I went back for another few bites. It's not great. I don't know if it was just the batch we had but immediate stomach ache. I have heard it's an acquired taste and sometimes hit or miss. That seemed to be the case. However, I would definitely go back and try some of the other things on their menu that sounded good. Count me out for the chili though. read more

I knew this location existed, but since it's not near my residence, I haven't taken the time to drive and enjoy . . . until today. It was my first-ever visit to this Skyline, but not my first to this restaurant in other cities/states. This was total perfection of meeting my taste desire. It seems that absolutely nothing has changed in a negative way. I'd somehow forgotten that it was table service instead of ordering at a counter, and that greatly added to the wonderful experience. My server (and later a member of management) was very friendly and attentive. My 4-Way (onions - no beans) was super-delicious and kept its temperature for quite a while. Dang, that was a lot of cheese!! There were quite a few other diners in the restaurant, and since I was dining solo and not spending time on my phone, I was able to see and overhear that everyone in the place was enjoying their meal just as I was. The chili was kind of runny and there wasn't much to it and that is why I am giving this a 4. When I think of chili I think of a hearty bowl a ground beef with makes some beans but I also know that chili is subjective and everyone makes it a different way. Our server was fantastic. I went to college near Cincinnati, Ohio over 20 years ago. I now live in Los Angeles, but I was visiting Florida for the week and to my absolute delight (in fact, I couldn't believe my eyes) I spotted the skyline chili from the road. At first, I couldn't believe my eyes and doubted that it was actually a skyline chilly. I was confident that I was dreaming and it was really something else disguised as skyline chili but...what a treat! As soon as I took my first bite, all of the memories of this regionally based unique restaurant came back. I even got to share the delight with my child who had only had it once when she was just about one years old and we had visited my college town. This is located right next to the Firehouse Subs, and across from Target, Pieology & Walgreens. This is a unique fast food joint, as they have a variety of hot dogs, spaghetti, wraps, salads & burritos. I ended up ordering two cheese Coney's which is their cheese & chili hot dogs, and one large 5-way which is their spaghetti with chili & cheese. The food was very flavorful, although a little on the salty side. The staff was very friendly & informational on their food items. The interior had plenty of indoor tables to dine in, whether if you have a small group or a large party.
