When our server, Millie, learned it'd be 8 separate checks for our table, we received an eye-roll. However, at the conclusion of our meal I completely understood why. She had to carry over a cumbersome number of POS devices for our individual payments. Millie did provide excellent service, though. She was personable and attentive. As majority first-time guests, she gave us a free chips & dip appetizer. Initially candy bacon had run out, but after expressing our disappointment, Ryan the manager, ensured some materialized. When you are a Yelp Elite, your phone eats first, or drinks in this case! I was snapping some photos, and a cast member came up to take a selfie with me. We joked about how you can't say you actually had a fancy, fruity drink in WDW if you didn't take a picture. Appreciate the friendliness and boy, did this drink help during a humid June day at Animal Kingdom! Our waters were not refilled and they served cans of soda and there were no free refills. We enjoyed the French onion soup and chocolate dessert but didn't care for anything else.

Like most "fancier" restaurants, the portion sizes are on the smaller side, especially for the price. For appetizers, we chose the signature bread service paired with Korean bbq pork bao buns. Both were amazing! The bread service was a bit smaller than photos make it look and I would not recommend sharing with more than 3 people total. The bao buns were packed with flavor and our favorite item of the night. For entrees, we chose the butter chicken and beef tenderloin, two of the highest recommended items here. Both were amazing and melted in our mouths. My only wish is that the butter chicken offered more sauce and had rice instead of a samosa. The service here was a bit on the slower size, especially since they were not busy at all. However, that is usually what one would expect at a nice restaurant. They just weren't that buttery, toasted quesadilla I'm used to. The green salsa had an unusual texture, almost like applesauce, which was a little off-putting. The sour cream was fine, and I actually enjoyed the pickled onions as a nice touch. The margaritas were good! They offer several flavor additions like coconut and mango that work as sweeteners, so if you prefer a sweeter margarita I would definitely suggest adding one. Ordering it straight is on the bitter side, so the flavors are a nice way to customize your drink. Overall, the ambience and service were great, and the food is solid. We had Sarah for our waitress both times. The first night, we had their special the miso salmon, and the rigatoni bolognese. We were offered "regular, bottled, or sparkling" water; we chose bottled, and were served warm water from a carafe style bottle with no ice. Rigatoni was tasty, but the miso salmon was burnt on the outside (inside was cooked well), bok choy was VERY salty from the soy marinade but was fine when paired with the pile of plain white rice (that I think was supposed to be a seasoned rice pilaf?). The second night, we again had the special of fettuccini alfredo with shrimp, and the pepperoni pizza with red sauce. We were offered the same for water - "regular, bottled, or sparkling". We chose "regular" this time and were still served the same carafe-style room temperature water without ice. The pizza was just okay and the crust was super chewy and tough, but the alfredo sauce was broken and the dish was a pile of noodles with clumped parmesan swimming in a lake of butter. The waitress did stop by to ask how everything was, but we had literally just been served our food. I did eat the shrimp, which were cooked nicely. I let our waitress know the sauce was broken and said I didn't want it to be remade as I already ate the shrimp. She reported this to the manager who came over and offered us a free dessert for the mistake. This was nice, but he took forever to come back with the dessert menu, and then never returned to see what dessert we might order, but attended another table right next to us several times while we waited. After 15 minutes waiting for him to even order a dessert and attending the next table 3 times, we ended up flagging down the waitress to ask for our check. Our waitress comped the Alfredo meal, which we greatly appreciated. Our waitress Sarah was a rockstar. She was working pretty much the entire restaurant and I actually heard her say to the staff "Is anyone going to help me here?". I saw her fill beers for guests behind the bar instead of waiting on the bartender. I saw her lead guests to a table with menus instead of the hostess. I also saw the manager and other staff just chilling by the kitchen area, making jokes and laughing, and empty tables needing to be cleared the entire time we were there, while we and other tables waited for just a refill of room-temp water. The restaurant was NOT full or super busy on a Friday night, so that says a lot. Also note, it's in very small type, but this restaurant adds 18% gratuity no matter the order or party size. We added an extra tip for Sarah the first night, but not the second, and I wouldn't be surprised if this restaurant splits that gratuity with the cooks and management who don't deserve it. Five stars for Sarah. One star for the rest.

This is home to one of my wife's and I favorite snack at Animal Kingdom. This small snack stand is right before you enter Dinoland. It is outside and only has 2 or 3 tables. It is considered a snack stand so their menu is very small. Their menu includes mostly drinks, including soda, water, beer and a cocktail. We never get drinks here, I personally feel there are much better places in Animal Kingdom to get a cocktail. This is also a good stop if you are looking for something sweet. Their sweet options include Dole Whip, ice cream and churros. What we come here for is one of our favorite snacks in Animal Kingdom. The buffalo chicken chips: house-made chips served with buffalo chicken and blue cheese dressing which is then topped with tomato and celery relish. The portion size is large for a snack and is $10.49. I guess it could be considered a meal like lunch since it has a lot of chicken. My wife and I always share this, it is very good, the chips are crunchy and always fresh. The chicken is usually cool, not hot, but it is still very good. You can tell it is cooked chicken that has been cooled and sort of reheated, which I am usually not a fan of, but this one is actually really good. The buffalo sauce is not spicy at all, there is a small buffalo kick, but it's very mild. The blue cheese dressing is also very creamy, there are not chunks of blue cheese, however, this would definitely take this dish over the top! This stand is themed to Dinoland, so my hope is that when Dinoland gets refurbished, this stand will remain with these buffalo chips and just change the name or design. I think this is one of the best snack options in all the parks and definitely at the top of our list! We always stop here, and I would recommend checking it out very soon, just in case! Aces!!
