Prices are much higher now than what's listed on Yelp, so check the resort website for the updated menu. The lady who took my phone order wasn't very pleasant, and when I picked up my food, Angel was nice and told me he gave me a "manager discount." But when I checked my receipt, I was actually charged the full total plus an extra $5- apparently a full gratuity fee for takeout, which no one mentioned. Being told it was a discount made it feel misleading. That said, the food itself was really good, presented with care, and they even included plenty of wet wipes, which I appreciated. So I'm a bit conflicted - great food, but the service left me uneasy. read more

My parents love this restaurant. When on vacation at Orange Lake, they choose to come here every day. Honestly, I never liked it because they didn't have any vegetarian options ever. This is the first time I found a vegetarian section so I'm very excited by them adding this on the menu. It's the only restaurant there that has this. They have three options. A vegetable, bowl, plant-based burger, and a chickpea wrap. I got the veggie bowl, which was actually very good. I was very happy with it. It came with rice, black beans, avocado, cheese, and tomatoes. I was disappointed that the plant based burger was a beyond burger. I asked staff to check since they didn't know what it was and it doesn't say it on the menu. I do not like the veggie burgers that taste like meat. Thank you again for adding this section and I would love to come every day with my parents when we have vacation if there's lots of options I could have. My dad really loves the Ahi tuna there and my mother gets all different things. read more

Breezes is one of the several restaurants and bars on site at the Holiday Inn Orange Lake resort. It's also right next to the pool so I look forward to ordering a cocktail on our pool day. There isn't much to say about Breezes. Our burgers were delicious, the service was impeccable. We didn't have an empty glass at all - our waitress was very attentive without being overly hover-y. The decor is very on-theme looking like a beach snack shack. The prices were incredibly reasonable for poolside food. Kyle was my bartender and I could not have asked for better service. He was very down to earth. The live music sounded good and the bands were entertaining. The atmosphere is family friendly. I would recommend the chicken wings. Kyle did mix a few Sex on the Beaches for us. He, also, recommended the Key Lime Pie. This restaurant and bar is in the west village of Orange Lake. I'm staying in east village but decided to drive over to this end of the property on Tuesday night because they had karaoke. I sat outside in the bar area which has a great view of the pool. I ordered the ahi tuna salad because their other restaurant on property, River Island Grilling Company, has an amazing chopped Asian salad with ahi tuna. I was disappointed that the salad at Breeze's was not as good. I ordered the tuna rare and it was prepared closer to medium. The dressing wasn't as flavorful as River Island, either. They did have a better variety of beers on tap at Breezes though and I was able to get Angry Orchard. I really enjoyed karaoke night and even got up to sing a Taylor Swift song but the food was just ok. I would come back for the atmosphere but not the food. read more

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Orange Lake Resort hotel for four days leading upto my wedding, and... I have to say.. I'm very impressed. I personally ordered the same thing everyday (yes, everyday) nachos with chicken, and as I always ordered to go (and ate by the pool with friends/family) they put separate containers so you could organize things yourself, and not let the chips get soggy. Not only was this fun, but, the food was deliteful. As far as the drinks, I don't drink alcohol, but, some of my friends do, and we were having fun with the mugs, and were very happy with the pricing. The servers were very nice, and knowing I was getting married that week, the last night I had it before leaving, I was given a celebratory slice of cake (chocolate, which was very decadent). When you're here, go to the bar, and if you order out, there are plenty of places to eat this. The prices for everything were surprisingly low, which I hope they stick to, and I believe I'll be bringing my wife here when we visit in a few weeks. read more

Breezes is one of those resort bars that you will want to go back to even when you're not staying at the resort - which is exactly what we've done over the past 2 months. The chicken quesadilla was delicious - served with guac, sour cream and salsa. The beach bum burger was juicy and tasty. Even the pickle was too good to share with the hubby. Although Breezes has some construction happening at the time of our last visit the poolside bar vibe drowned that out. Amber, our server, was fantastic. Checked in with us regularly, offered great suggestions and was very pleasant. Can't go wrong with $6 happy hour sangria on Mondays either! Definitely going back. read more

We went twice while staying at the resort. The 1st night was good, the 2nd was better. Danny was our server on trip #2 & he was fantastic! The Island Salmon, was really tasty, I ate it both visits and switched the mashed potatoes for rice/beans. Do it, you won't regret it! The kids preferred meal #2, chicken tenders with fruit & a grilled cheese with fries. My husband had a steak and said it was good. Danny offered steak sauce but as you know, a good steak shouldn't need it. Seating was never an issue and the food came in a timely manner. Check it out! read more

Definitely will NOT be returning here. We walked in and were passed by 4 wait staff until someone finally came over to seat us. We were finally seated and the waitress became very snotty with a member of our party because of the phrasing in the menu, it clearly states that hot dogs come with fries and a choice of fruit or coleslaw. The waitress argued that its only one option. Ok, fine, whatever, the fact of the matter though is they need to fix the menu then. I ordered a burger with a lettuce bun. The waitress looked at me like I have 5 heads and lo and behold, my well done burger on lettuce was a pink burger with lettuce on the side. I finished my meal and she whisked my plate away literally less than 10 seconds after putting down my fork. Wow. Just wow. Go off the resort for food. Trust me. read more

We stayed at the resort Breezes is in. Let's say it was easy to stay and eat right in our hotel. The salads are great. Fish tacos again great. The topper was on suggestion from the waitress was the sloppy Joe nachos. Sweet savory meat with plenty of cheese and toppings. If you're in the resort definitely try this place. read more

We stopped to eat here on our 1st day at West Lake. It located right next to the pools and there's indoor seating as well as a nice bar area. The menu is pretty good and prices are extremely reasonable for the location. Waitress was knowledgeable with menu items and if was slightly better with her table maintenance would have gotten 5 stars. Gratuity is included. Definitely would come back. read more

This was inside the Orange Lake resort and the food was really bad. We are here twice because it was in the resort and the way the resort advertises you would expect them to have better food. For breakfast I had hard over eggs and it was so oily. There was a pool of oil on the eggs. The sausage patties were the frozen kind you can pick up at at any frozen section of a supermarket. The potatoes were bland, oily, and soggy. The pancakes were the only good thing...but then again you can't really mess up on pancakes that much. My husband got a sausage and cheese omelet and it was just okay. It came with a side of wheat toast and potatoes. For dinner we had the chicken quesadilla for an appetizer and the chicken in it was the frozen kind which was diced up. It was not good. For entrees I had the salmon which came with asparagus and rice. The salmon was not that great. The asparagus smelled bad and looked like it was the frozen kind. My husband had fish tacos and it was just okay. For a really expansive resort and they way they advertise it to be...the food here sucks!!! read more

I am a long time owner and have been coming here for over a decade. The food is phenomenal and the staff is always warm and welcoming. I must say on my most recent stay i have been most impressed with one employee imparticular and his name is Danny at breezes restaurant. I believe every establishment should have a Danny, he is truly a class act in hospitality and a force to be reckoned with. Danny has an incredible personality that captivates you the moment he says hello. Danny was passionate about his job and it showed throughout every step of his service from beginning to end. Breezes is a nice laid back atmosphere type place. They have table service in and outdoor as well. The bar is fully stocked and are now offering Titos vodka specials. They food is not bad and the service is great. The servers are very helpful. No cash!! Credit card or room key if staying on the resort. We ate here twice now in our stay this week. And both times it's not been good at all. First time I got chicken tenders and fries we ate inside, and our server sucked she barely came by, they do not have any lemons right now either for beverages. The food was basic and over priced which I expected. Second time we got food and sat by the pool because I was afraid we would have the same crappy waiter. My husband had pretzels they wasn't bad I had mozzarella sticks they was so bland, and the sauce was awful. I told my husband to get me ranch and he forgot till he went to pick it up, and the lady said it costed and that she would have to re run our card. He said forget it, I'm sorry but we spent $25 on food and can't get some ranch to go with it. We ate here due to it being right at the hotel and one of the only restaurants open.
