Dennis is very nice and easy to work with, he does everything in his power to make your dreams come true and has utmost integrity. We had a slight hiccup with the new sealant that is not a stain, it just seals your original wood after it's been sanded. The edges where the wood meets the wall came out a little streaky. I know this is a new process and is still being refined, so it's just something to be mindful of. Dennis was quick to remediate the issue, in which his team attempted a few times to smooth it out, but we are left with the conclusion that there may be some abnormalities in the wood at one section. I was particularly impressed with punctuality, communication, reliability in addition to the quality, which is hard to find with contractors. My husband has been doing all of the work on our home remodel. We decided to look for someone to level the flooring for us. He's a perfectionist so I really wanted to find someone that cares about doing the job right. I decided on Skyline because of the strong reviews and lack of complaints. I called Friday and Dennis picked up right away as he was leaving a job site. I could tell immediately that he was friendly and professional. I felt like I really trusted him. I asked if he could come out to give us an estimate and he said he would come the next morning. Indeed, he did. He met with my husband and he also got a really good feeling from him. My husband is from Argentina so it was super helpful that Dennis also speaks Spanish. He gave us an estimate and we agreed to it, he sent us the contract that same evening and we signed off on it, and he had the materials delivered to our house the next morning (Saturday). He sent a crew of 3 guys on Sunday morning. They got here a little early which wasn't a problem at all. They were all really good people who were very professional and skilled. They prepped and leveled the floor in a few hours and we ended up using less material than they had estimated so our total came out to 65% of the original estimate which felt great of course. So basically from the time I called on Friday, by Sunday noon we had a leveled floor. SO IMPRESSIVE. Every time I reached out to Dennis by text or by phone, he answered right away. Dennis and his team are absolutely incredible. I bought a condo built in 1958 and wanted to hire someone to refinish the original hardwood floors, plus extend them into two additional rooms. I met with several vendors and decided on Skyline because Dennis was so genuinely enthusiastic about the job. The floors needed a lot of work (lots of pet and water damage), but Dennis was excited about their potential and confident in his ability to make them beautiful again. He really delivered. The original floors are absolutely stunning, and he was able to find new wood for the other two rooms that matches the original wood almost perfectly (not an easy thing to do, as the original planks were a unique size). In addition to their A+ craftsmanship, Dennis and his guys were a dream to work with. I did a pretty large-scale renovation that I managed by myself, and Skyline was by far the most reliable and efficient crew I hired. Dennis was always available to answer my questions and concerns, even after the job was done. I had a major disaster with my painters who got paint all over my beautiful new floors, but Dennis took the time to recommend a product that would clean them up without damaging the finish on the wood. We first dealt with Dennis when he was with another company about two years ago. We were impressed with his quick and polite communications we had with him. His crew was excellent. Two years later we finally got around to remodeling our kitchen and family room. During the remodel we had to disturb part of the oak floor in the family room. There were a couple of areas that needed some patching. Unfortunately, our contractor's floor guy didn't feel up to the challenge of repairing the two areas. 5 STARS!!! Dennis and his crew at Skyline Flooring are top notch professionals and experts at their craft and we highly recommend them. We had old hardwood and linoleum floors from the 60's that were severely worn and uneven. When Dennis arrived to give us a quote, he explained in great detail all of our options and the pros and cons of each. We decided to not have the existing floors refinished, repaired or removed, but instead went with vinyl flooring throughout the entire house on top of existing flooring as it was the best option that suited our situation and our lifestyle. Dennis was incredibly patient and helpful during the process of picking the right vinyl flooring, even doing extensive research for the best price and availability. When Dennis and the crew arrived, (on time), they went right to work moving furniture, removing baseboards, installing protection on our brand new kitchen cabinets and covering everything with plastic. Next step was leveling the floors. They used a thin, watery cement mixture that filled in all the low spots and leveled the areas that were sloping. After that, was installing the flooring, which went fairly quickly, and at the end of each day they cleaned up and left the place nice, since we were living here. During the whole installation process Dennis was either at the job site or was in constant contact with us, even going over things on the phone after hours. We are so thankful we met Dennis and Skyline Flooring and do not regret our decision one bit. When we first bought our house weren't huge fans of the existing floors which consisted of grey stone tiles and carpet (making the home feel very outdated and dark).
