I guess I should have know this place was terrible after reading previous credible reviews, but somehow I wanted to give it chance. Big mistake! Even with a discount, I felt that I was ripped off and overpaid (includes a $20 tip, which is added on to the regular massage fee). I have had Chinese medicine massage, acupressure, thai massage, swedish, chiropractic/osteopathic adjustments, etc. for over 15 years so I am very familiar with proper techniques and what it should feel like and, honesty, this was one of the worst massages I've ever had in my life. I've had better $15 and $20 massages (including tips) so why pay more than double for crap? I tried a one-hour massage today, and when I asked the massage lady (she was very nice so I don't want to mention her name) what type of massage she was going to do, she said she usually does Swedish, but she would do whatever I needed. I told her that it was my neck and shoulders that were tight and need loosening, and it seemed as if she didn't really pay attention, as she did not apply hardly any pressure, and started to massage my legs and knees, when I told her multiple times that it was my neck and shoulders that were tight. But I trusted she knew what she was doing. But after she was done after an hour, I felt no different, except feeling cheated. So after all that, I'm still tight. I should have just gone back to Monterrey Park where the massage therapists are half the price and can get knots out in just 15 minutes. I wouldn't mind giving them one more chance if they respond here. But until then, this review will validate all of the other 1-star reviews here, it's a bad place. read more

This company is scamming people when they buy Groupon for an hour massage. The massage itself wasn't all that bad, but not great. The company calls the consumer the next day saying the Groupon code didn't work and they need you to come in and pay the full amount. First off Groupon doesn't pay them the full amount, and second the Paid Groupon is never returned to the consumers account. Don't get scammed buy these jokers.. Very thorough early examination and proper care that focuses on the root issues. I came after seeing other doctors and chiros, all who were quick to dismiss the issue as most everyone is taught to just prescribe you meds or use some outdated device on you while they take lunch. Dr. Silva seems to ask all the right questions, finds the root issue, and offers multiple effective treatments that seems more of a holistic approach. I've been coming here for a few weeks now with my fiance because of a family recommendation. It has been the best decision coming here. Dr. Silva has really been able to help me get my pain to being very minimal. I got a livingsocial deal for this place as a gift. When I make my appointment I was told to show up 15 minutes early to fill out paper work. Being the prompt person I am I was there 15 minutes early. The hours on the place showed they had opened 2 hours prior to my appointment yet the whole place was locked up. I sat outside for 15 minutes until someone finally showed up. That screamed unprofessional to me. To the massage itself... I think I had bruises for days after. She definitely worked out some of the knots however much of it was painful. She asked a few times about the pressure and I asked for less but it didn't really seem to change. For the first half there was no music and when she did turn some on it kept skipping. Overall not a very enjoyable or relaxing experience. I don't think I will be going back there. read more

I was a little hesitant about this place when we got there but the staff was great and the office is clean and has a good ambiance. I have to warn you that it was a little hard to find the first time so down as you get closer to the address. The business is all the way in the back and hard to see from the street. As for the massage, I had Janet and she was wonderful. You will not believe how strong her hands are for such a small woman. My massage was soooo good I didn't want to get off the table. Bought an Amazon local deal for 2 massages. Called and was booked for a same week appt by a very cheerful sounding woman. The location is in the back of a small strip mall shopping center next to either a car dealership or a repair shop. Pretty easy to miss as you're driving by. Small parking lot. The room was very serene and relaxing, the massage tables have a very appropriately placed divot in it that made laying down more comfortable. I'm not a large gal up top and it was comfortable, I can imagine someone more endowed than I would appreciate it more. My masseuse was Janet , and my word was it perfect. She didn't hesitate to dig right in! The coupon/deal thing said 'sweedish' but noway, this was a perfect therapeutic deep tissue type massage. Exactly what I needed. Yes it hurt a little, but it was one of those good working out the tension hurts that feels wonderful. I did ask her to lighten up once on my legs but when I go back I'm specifically going to request her again. I was not seen directly by the doctor but he seemed very nice when I was checking in. I've had two massages here using a living social voucher. The first was with a younger woman, I believe her name was Veronica. She was skilled, but talked a lot during the massage, which kind of ruins the experience. Even when trying to give the hint that I didn't want to talk she didn't understand and kept talking. Also, she does not do a firm massage, it is more of a light to medium pressure Swedish massage. It was nice, but I prefer more pressure. The next time I had Janet. She was AMAZING. She listened to all of my requests and was not afraid to use pressure. She found knots and tight areas in every part of my body. Instead of just going over them without working on them like most would she actually worked on each of those spots. She is very strong and uses amazing pressure. I have particularly tight calves and she really focused on it and warned me when it was going to hurt, but it would help with the tightness. Based on ambiance the place is very nice, very clean, but hard to find. We almost passed it the first time. Also, leaving the parking lot can be a bit scary because there are cars parked on the street and visualization is limited. The walls are rather thin, so you can hear everything going on in other rooms. So even if you don't have Veronica, you hear her with the person next door, or the doctor with a patient. The prices are amazing even without the living social coupon. They currently have a special of four massages for $99. I definitely recommend this place, just make sure you ask for the masseuse that matches your needs. read more

I went there yesterday and had a worst massage of my life. At first, I made appointment at 12:15 for 60 minutes massage, the masseuse came in 10 minutes late, no apologies. I specifically said I have lower back pain, and he did nothing on my pain. He was basically rubbing oil at the entire time. I don't think he know what deep tissue means, or doesn't understand English. I told him a couple times to push the pressure point of lower back, but he kept rubbing oil, not a single push. He even work on my legs even I said light on my legs. And the worst part is, he pulled down my underwear very low and rubbing my butt. Nobody ever did that. Then he said he's done at 1:10. He didn't even work more than 45 minutes, but I didn't want to waste anymore time anyway. But the owner tried to charge me $65 because it was deep tissue. I honestly, didn't want to pay nothing but I paid even 20 % tip because that's what I always do. I was very upset the entire day. I never want to go back there anymore. read more

This was hands down the worst massage I have ever received. The lady who perform the massage was not trained properly if at all. Professionalism is not their priority. There were so many red flags throughout my experience. She massaged the back of my knees and the inner elbow. Anyone that actually studied massage knows that those areas are considered "danger zones". Another red flag was her posture was terrible. A massage therapist has to maintain good health and posture because their body is their instrument. Hunching over a client that is on the table is not only terrible for the massage therapist's posture but is not affective in providing correct pressure. Your power and strength comes from your legs by rocking back and forth in a lunge position. I don't want to bore everyone with a lesson in massage therapy. I simply want to bring to attention that this is not where your money should be spent. Pay the $10, $15 extra dollars for a massage that will actually help your body and not harm it. read more

I had to cancel my appointment for a massage and the person on the other end of the phone was very rude. I purchased a Living Social voucher and she never requested it when order or mention anything about a 48 hour cancelling period however when I called to cancel because I was I'll with a fever she said she needed my voucher number because this counted as used. I scheduled the appointment 2.27.13 and had to cancel mid day 2.28.13 because my health was not improving and she just did not care. Never going to use any of their services. Customer service is key in a business, and unfortunately they did not provide that at all. read more

Nice service and attentive staff. They were able to squeeze me in at the last second and, though the massage therapist was running late coming back from lunch, Dr. Silva had me relax on the traction table so I didn't mind at all. They were very accommodating and friendly and the massage was relaxing. My only small warning is for people who (like me) have a sensitive sense of smell. They use some sort of wall plug-ins to give the space a floral-ish scent. The woman who answered the phone is the massage therapist. Didn't see a certificate or liscense posted but by phone she said she was certified. First impression as you walk-in is okay but Janet could be more presentable. Clean and friendly just her hair a bit messy and her makeup and attire quite unstylish. As for the massage it was good. The room seemed clean. The oil she used must have been cheap as afterwards when I left I felt like I smelled of chinese food. The room had a floral scent that was not the best but okay. She entered the room chewing ice it seemed so that was odd but thankfully she finished right away. There is a fountain and room is dimmed so it is nice. For what you pay $24 it is okay...you get what you pay. They do suggest tipping $15+ for an hour but I believe tipping is not an obligation if you are not satisfied. As for the tea and chocolates they could offer something nicer. Don't expect fine chocolates and tea. Last, if you pay cash have it ready as they don't have change. Do your research and don't be afraid to walkaway if that is your gut. A massage should be an enjoyable experience. read more
