They falsely advertise that they accept Groupon voucher. Groupon sold me a certificate for the first appointment for a low price. This unscrupulous chiropractor office said they don't and never have accepted Groupon vouchers. I complained to Groupon and they have so far refused to return my money! I highly recommend not using Groupon unless you want to be scammed. They stole 14 dollars and change from me, but I learned that they are cheating the customers. read more

Details.. .. This is technically the 4th Joint location that I've frequented & the care they provide is exceptional! .. I'm on a Wellness Plan, so I get 4 visits a month. prOs.. .. Dr. Ly & the front office team are amazing! I actually started going to him when he was at the Seal Beach location. .. My weekly visits are quick & efficient, but I never feel like I'm being rushed out the door. In fact, Dr. Ly is very thorough & really takes his time. I know those statements sound contradictory, but trust me, both are true. I think the longest total time I've been in the clinic in total was 15 minutes. It's usually closer to 5-7 from the time I walk in. .. I look forward to my weekly adjustments because they keep my back happy & it gives me a few moments to slow down. no cOns.. yay!! read more

3 stars because LEE is the best one there he actually does everything your suppose to do when seeing a chiropractor. For some reason the lady who is always at first booth and works on Saturdays omg she's always in a rush rush rush like she don't feel you out and she only does 2 things on me LEE does it all with out you having to ask. If your so in a rush or hurry all the time why not just have someone work with you ? Or call off if your tired but to mess with someone health not cool. I am a frequent member with The Joint and each location does have it differences. This location has the benefit of having Dr Andy Ly. I have a hip displacement and stiff body, so it's pretty typical that most chiropractors cannot loosen my left side. It's rare I find a doctor who can, but I've been blessed to find Dr Ly, who can! I highly recommend this location and specifically Dr. Ly who has the technique to loosen up the stiff bones. read more

I came to this place with interpretation due to never having chiropractic before. It's an interesting take on the practice so for a first timer it was simple and fast, just walk in and get adjusted. The office is clean, calm and relaxing. The Dr.'s are good at what they do and comforting. I especially liked Dr Ly whose healing hand worked magic. It has helped my back tremendously. She was more like a salesman on trying to arm me my next visit. Don't come here or your back will be sorry. By the way, she didn't even sign my paper work with her name. Interesting concept, I tried this out for a bit with the membership and visited different locations ,what I discovered is NOT all the chiropractors were great..some knew more than others..hit or miss as far as getting your needs met and then there's the creepy factor..yes some are creepy and give u that vibe..I did have favorite Dr's example their costa mesa office has dr ito she's great...she really helped me . Other than that I don't feel its,safe to always get adjusted without getting xrayed.I think it woukd be great if they offered massage . But yeah I can Canceled my membership because it wasn't helping me ..and no consistency with the drs. read more

I have been coming here for almost a year now, and I believe it was Dr. Paul is who I worked with for the majority of the time, and I loved him. He gets me by "T" and always asks how my work was. I always specifically came in to work with him. I went in a few weeks ago and didn't get him (it was a holiday, so I understand. I got Dr. David and got a really amazing adjustment, someone new. I asked when he was, and he told me the days, and I made sure to come back the next week, and I did, but he wasn't there, and I got another doctor. Adjustment was good. I don't remember his name because he didn't introduce himself. I went the following week and also live a little ways away from this location in Long Beach. It pretty much takes me longer to get there than the visit. I drove there only to find out it was closed before their closing time! No sign posted. Ok Whatever! I decided to go back last week and had the worst experience. The doctor asked me what I was there for which I should have a file with notes, I hope? He seemed very uninterested, and I felt like he really didn't do anything helpful when he "adjusted" me. He barely put enough pressure to crack anything! $80 a month isn't worth the bare minimum help. I don't usually leave reviews but thought I needed to.This experience just solidified why I'll be canceling my plan with them. read more

I went in for a follow up visit and was given full (lower/mid/neck) spinal adjustment on 11/2. Two days later I had extreme neck pain that lead to dizziness, vomiting, and extreme pain in neck area. I had to go to ER at LB community. I call on November 17 to request to speak with the chiropractor on duty for advise. Receptionist indicated Dr. Dominguez was the person who adjusted me on 11/2. She indicate he was not in and that it is best I speak with him. She also assured me the manager on duty would give me a follow up call that day. I have yet to receive any call or follow up regarding my condition. read more

I recently got adjusted at another chiro and left there totally feeling discombobulated and all out of whack. I was told that I would be sore and it would take a few days to adjust so I thought it was normal. I just became worse as the days progressed that I couldn't even stand straight or lay flat on my back without feeling VERY uncomfortable and having lower back pain, which I never had prior to the adjustment. I came in for stiffness between the shoulder blades and left with lower back pain. Dr. Young at this location was AMAZING! She fixed me within the first adjustment. She was very kind, professional and thorough in explaining the process. She gave me a pillow and had me lay on my back as she placed a few fingers on my spine and adjusted me exactly the way I needed to be adjusted. Something the other doctor has never done. As I have mention in previous reviews, I am pregnant at 24 weeks and currently dealing with sciatica pain. Dr. Julie is phenomenal and can help relieve the problem. And when the pandemic hit, I needed to be able to realign my spine from all of the zoom work and neck strain I was experiencing from the hours of sedentary screen time. Once the joint was able to take patients, with seemed almost immediate I began to visit the different healing hands of the Pacific Coast Highway office in Long Beach. I had a Dr. Karl at one time. A Dr. Dominguez. A female doctor. And most recently a different younger Doctor Who covers different offices from Irvine to Torrance. And each and every time I have always left satisfied and relieved with the service I received. There should be a hint of trepidation and anxiousness when you place the bone manipulation of your neck in the hands of someone you may not know well, if at all. And each one of these practitioners took the time, the care, and their expertise to make sure that there was never any rushed, or over attempted manipulation with any part of my body. Got a membership for my daughter at the seal Beach location right after she joins they close that location. The doctor moves to the Long Beach location which is completely out of the way from our home. I called on the phone to cancel my membership because it is not convenient for us to go anymore, they will not cancel your membership unless you go in person. Be aware of that before you sign any contract. They need to have a better system where you should be able to cancel online or a simple phone call without having to go in person. They also need to work on their customer service because earlier today I was on hold for 15 minutes in which I had to hang up and call back and they never apologized for putting me on hold for 15 minutes. Her response was they were really busy. read more

I generally enjoy the services provided at any Joint Chiropractic Clinic, however this was the first time I left feeling displeased. The Dr on staff today at the site was arrogant and rude . There was no introduction or ending to the visit . He bang session by stating "let's go", and ended session in silence.... I was very confused and uncertain if session was completed. The provider didn't seem as though he wanted to be there ... probably didn't given the holiday . Thankfully I don't live town and will not have a need to return to this site. read more

Good care. But Saturday is about the only day I can go. The doctor is ALWAYS late at opening. Which creates an unnecessary long wait time.

Dr Mario was a life saver. I came in on a Sunday barely able to walk and had a round at Pebble Beach booked for that following weekend. I came in to get an adjustment and the lady sitting at the front let me know there isn't a doctor and directed me to the nearest location. She also gave me a free visit card that doesn't do anything for me when there isn't a doctor. It would've been a lot less frustrating if there was a note on the door telling me the place was closed then for me to think I was going to be seen since you have staff working. I really don't see the point of someone working to just turn people away. read more
