First time visit and I'm completely disappointed I came in at 1p and was greeted and taken to the pedi chair which was a plus that there wasn't a wait. My regular ol classic pedicure took literally until 2:30 and the guy kept getting up and switching with another person. Once I was finally finished with that on to the full set ... which I thought would be better. It didn't take as long and the guy seemed like he knew what he was doin so I relaxed a little. But after telling him and the girl at the front that I wasn't real thrilled with my first experience there and they both shrugged and said ok, but the female did ask what happen so I explained. First after getting my pedicure the nail tech accidentally scraped the nail polish, but she fixed it. They have 4 different mani/pedi combos. I got #3. The young female I was working with was great. She did her job and we talked. She did a great job. I'm a tourist and needed my nails done so I decided to try this place out. I got a pedicure that was absolutely wonderful for less then what I usually would pay in my hometown! I also got a full-set. This is when things went left. I'm not sure if the lady was new, still in school or learning but it was clear that she was practicing on me. She glued my nails on and cut them. Then another lady had to come and put my actual acrylic on. Then the First Lady that cut my nails came back and shaped and painted them. I would have been fine with this process if my nails had come out nice. But I left there with acrylic on the front and back of my fingertips, they put the acrylic on too thick, and I have acrylic clumps on the inside of my nails. And on top of it all, it took TWO HOURS! I am sadly dissatisfied with the service. It's a beautiful nail spa and I love that they offer free soda, wine or water but both times I have been dissatisfied. My pedicure was the worst I've ever had! I'm not a picky person or complains a lot but I bought the 30 dollar package and the callus never got fully removed. I didn't get a foot massage at all, my toe nails were not filed, the paint job looks like something I could have done myself. I have had 25 pedicures before with much better service. Please save your money on the pedicures here. It's not worth it! Now about my gel nails. First time I came I asked for square with slight round. I walked out with sharp nails. Then this visit my thumb gel color slide right off after 2 days. And they never asked me what I wanted just assumed I wanted what they gave me. I'm not ok with this service. Not a great experience. Instead of having you wait until a tech is available to get you situated for your service you will sit in a pedi chair with your feet in the water. It seemed like a long time but that may have been because the hot water was on the fritz The decor isn't bad, it's clean and the staff is friendly enough. There just doesn't seem to be any process in place for how the clients are assigned, how the various levels of services are explained and there is such a chaotic vibe that it's hard to relax and enjoy your service. read more

The once beautiful salon became quite dirty and unsanitary, and I experienced nail techs arguing with the owner about servicing customers when they wanted to go to lunch or within 30 minutes of closing time. Keep in mind this was for my friends wedding. It was the bride and her bridal party. The pedicure was lackluster and not even worth the $25. The manicure was ehh. They left the dust on all of our nails and barely shaped them. They only did the lotion on our arms and hands for some of us. The tools were color coded which makes me think they don't really sterilize their tools. The shop vibe was just ugh and dirty. The only convenience was where it was located so close to the venue. I found the employees to be pleasant and hospitable. I opted for a mani(acrylic fullset) & a pedi with gel polish. It took only two days for my polish on nails to start fading at the tips and sides & for the toes to chip off. This is $50 at work. And before you even think it no i dont do manual labor. I came in with my daughter for a mani/pedi - which was the worst mani/pedi I've ever paid for. The technician barely removed any dead skin from my feet and him and another lady did a crap job painting my nails. My daughters fingernails, however looked pretty, but the technician drew hearts on her big toes that resembled the outline of the face of a devil. I went in a different time, giving them the benefit of the doubt. It was 9:30 am, just shortly after the store opening. I wanted a gel fingernail paint. They kept pressuring me to add all of these extra "things" that I wasn't interested in. The technician did a great job on my nails, however, there were 2 other technicians hovering over the counter, speaking to each other in their own language. Rude! Went in for a mani/pedi. Before the young lady was finished with my pedicure, another customer came in that was specifically requesting her. The manager told the customer it would be at least 30 minutes because she was with another client. The customer said, "That's fine, I'll wait." She wasn't mad at all. She was clearly willing to wait and didn't have a problem with it. Meanwhile, the manager decided to have someone else finish my pedicure and then my manicure, so my girl could go ahead and start on the other customer that was waiting. I wouldn't have had a problem with that except that they suddenly left me sitting and waiting for someone to come and take over. The manager came by and put my fingers into a bowl of water to soak and that was it. He returned to the front counter taking phone calls and chatting with an apparent co-worker or family member that had brought her child in to play. Meanwhile, I sat and sat and sat for at least a half hour waiting for someone to "takeover". They never put the top coat on my toes and I became so frustrated, I left without letting them finish my hands. It's a shame. I thought I had found my "go to" salon for my nails. So I was visiting Jacksonville & my hotel was right next door... Decided to go in..... Let me first off stay by saying I NEVER leave ANY nail salon satisfied. So when I went in, I had a little attitude but ready to see if they would change my mind about nail salons. So I wanted a full set and a pedicure....they started my pedicure first and immediately they start talking in their language....I don't speak Vietnamese or whatever they speak, but I'm not dumb. I can understand body language & dirty looks then laughs. They made me feel really uncomfortable. I asked for the Hollywood pedicure & as the lady was doing it I asked like what is this cream you're putting on my skin...she goes with a loud tone & attitude, "exactly what you asked for".....I'm like umm I just wanna know the ingredients or the name..like I know it's what I asked for..why are u being so defensive. Then they started to do my nails....I tried to be as specific as possible for what designs I wanted & colors & it was like I was speaking another language....they just didn't get it. So I began to get frustrated & told her to just leave my nails blank then she goes Noo let me get this other lady to do them. So the girl that did my pedicure came over to do the designs. I have to admit I love how my nails turned out. She did a great job, but the customer service was just horrible. So after she finishes with my nails & I'm under the uv light, she's on her phone texting & face timing her boyfriend & starts talking shit about me right in my face. Her boss comes & starts speaking their language to her....again don't know what she said to her, but I know she asked her to do something because her reply was in English & she sighed & huffed & puffed & said whyyyy. Then Got up & started rubbing my neck & shoulders for one min....I said oh really. If that's how u feel then don't do it at all. They were just horrible. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go here. I mean quit your job if you don't like serving people or ur just gonna start judging them by the way they look or who knows what their problem was but all those nail techs had bad attitudes Not gonna discredit them for doing a good job on my nails but customer service, manners, & a smile goes a long way. This rating is based on my second visit to this establishment. I went for a gel fill and polish change. When I left and took a closer look, the color was applied unevenly and my nails were lumpy. That wasn't a surprise as the nail tech that helped me was constantly up and down doing multiple different things while performing my services. Also, when he was doing my nails, he also took multiple persons calls, one of which he was paying for something with his card while drilling my nails. I went back two days to get them fixed. While drilling the color off of the messy edges, I asked her if she could fix the lumps...She said it would be $23!!! She was already drilling the color off and stated it was also for the color removal. The guy that then applied the color again did a good job but because of the initial disappointment in services and then them failing to correct the job unless I REPAID them, I will never recommend their services to anyone. This ended up costing me a total of $52+$27=$79 in one week. I'm sure they won't be around much longer if this is how they handle issues. read more

Not only did it cost me $40, I confirmed with the nail tech several times the price b4 I chose what I wanted and she told me $30, NOT $40. She also drew blood clipping my cuticles with the nippers. As if it couldn't get any worse, I repeatedly voiced what I wanted to her and she continually suggested something else or would state she couldn't do that. Horrible experience. It was my first time there. I went because they had a promotional coupon on their website to get 5$ off a service. So I went in and wasn't greeted. Finally someone asked me what I needed and I said a pedicure. They said ok. Well I sat down because they didn't tell me anything else. I then asked someone about how long the wait was and one lady said "now" so I was like ok cool. So I sat back down because I guess "now" didn't mean now. About 5 minutes later they called me over to a pedicure chair. I was there for 15 minutes with my feet soaking which felt nice but they didn't even tell my what was going on. They just left me in the chair for 15 minutes and I had to ask if anyone would be working on me soon. They said yes and still no one came over for 5 minutes. Then a lady come over asked me which service i wanted and I told her. She said ok and then left again! She left to work on someone else and was looking at her phone a lot. 5 minutes later a different guy came over and started working on me but then left to work on someone else! I sit there again for 5 or more minutes waiting and a different lady comes over. She starts filing and removing nail polish. She does a horrible job leaving cuticles and old nail polish. I told her the nail polish remover was burning me and she didn't seem to understand what I was saying because she just left it on until I told her again to take it off. She gets another lady to do my nails. This lady is a little better. But they didn't even grab the gel polish like I wanted but at that point I just wanted to leave so they did the regular polish. This whole time they didn't offer the complimentary drink that they advertise on their windows. I get they were busy but they never communicated what was going on and they lied about the time frame. They don't speak English, maybe just one lady. So they don't understand you very well. Overall very disappointing and sad experience read more

I went in last min to get a nail fixedright before closing ... I did not get the set done there but the tech at register took me & pawned me off to another which he was a little agitated . He did not offer me if I wanted any wanted or not. This is my second time here. The first time I just gotten polish change, so I could not judge there service. This was honestly one of the worst experiences I've had a nail shop. I just move back home and am in search of a new salon and so I tried this one. The prices are great however I honestly don't believe they go by their price list. I was seated as soon as I walked in but I did not get served until about 15 minutes after sitting down.. I suppose the owner is the one who did my nails during my service and because of that he literally got up every time someone checked out if someone else in the salon needed assistance Skymarks Nails & Spa got up stopped in the middle of my service and helped other people I was literally going to be in there for almost 2 hours until I repeatedly had to urge him to focus on my experience. I even went on live stream on my Instagram to document the experience because I thought it was just me being overly dramatic. The sign on the door says they serve wine and water, that was not offered to me. It has not even been a full 24 hours and two of my nails are already broken. This is my first time at this nail salon. As soon as I walked in the receptionist greeted me with a smile. I came for a pedicure and a full set. I asked for the price and the girl at the desk gave me a price sheet with atleast 4 pedicures! I was overwhelmed. I picked the deluxe pedicure with the wax. They had bags in the tub and I asked them the reason for it and they said sanitary purposes. I was pretty pleased. My pedicure was fantastic! I didn't want to walk after she was done. The massaging part was my favorite part! Then I was seated in for my nails and the nail tech spoke English! I've never been to a place where they spoke English! As she did my nails we had conversation and I fell in love with them when she was finish! I would recommend this place to everyone! The staff is friendly and I absolutely love the atmosphere! I was a employee here at skymarks,this place really sucks. Not just saying that because I don't work there anymore. That's the reason why I don't work there anymore. First they suck at managing, they have very poor customer service, and there sloppy about keeping there personal life out of there work environment. My customers did not appreciate the way they booked appointments, if Vincent answers the phone and you schedule a appointment with him most likely you'll get booked either on the wrong day, double book the nail tech or won't boom you at all. Only because he doesnt even look at the book.also they tried making me look bad telling my customers that I had not informed them of emergencies, and that I just don't show up. Lucky my customers know me better and don't get upset with me! Now I'm really upset, because since I've quit there, Vincent is telling people I've moved to miami, but ivy is telling customers that she fired me. I just find that very funny.
