Child free location!! Yes you heard me , no kids as room guest or in the pool . Makes this the perfect staycation. We booked the anniversary package ( last year -I'm late to post ), stayed one night . Should have booked two ! We definitely want to come back for another staycation. Rooms are small , but have everything you need . We enjoyed an amazing dinner on site .

Someone I love winding down 29 and here comes 30!

Where do I start? This little gem is a short trek north on the 101 or 154 if you're daring like we were. The lobby is filled with great, specially curated merch and sprawling views of the valley. We checked in just before 6pm. We brought our family dog. They let me know he was welcome on leash anywhere on the property except inside the actual pool. He's not a swimmer so perfect. We had dinner by the pool which eventually turned a gorgeous color of blue-purple at night. The stars were plentiful and the moon practically full. The fire pit was a great spot for after dinner. It's a quiet property. There was a rocket launch the next morning and it was too cloudy to see it but could hear it. Parking was terrific. We got a great spot and unloading/loading was a breeze. The staff was terrific. Alex was in the lobby in the morning and kept the coffee pot and half n half full. Gorgeous views and a few hours poolside the morning before headed to Los Alamos for a little browsing. Perfect stay. Highly recommend for a little reset.

Stayed here two nights for a wedding. Overall the place was clean and as expected. Here are some takeaways: Pros: -Cute retro decor -Onsite restaurant/bar -Pool -Good location -Private sitting area with fire pit and outdoor shower -Comfy beds Cons: -Bathroom set up not easy for getting ready, no counter. -No drawers to put clothes away -No iron/ironing board -Noise- People outside early just letting their dogs bark and talking loudly at seating areas outside of the rooms -Check in provided no info just handed over keys and said where to park Overall the price was readable for what you get and it met many of our needs.

This "Motel" was such an unexpected surprise! Yes, the rooms are (very!) small, but are also really cute, and they made great use of the space, especially the bathroom, though I would've liked a counter for all of my stuff. For the price (we booked on Hotel Tonight for about $180/night), it's a screaming deal! The property has clearly been recently renovated, the staff is super friendly, it's at the top of a hill, it has an amazing view of the surrounding hills, and it has a cool mid century modern vibe. They have a nice restaurant on the property, and, while we didn't eat there, we did have some cocktails, and they were great. There is no gym, so getting a workout may have to be a hike on many of the nearby trails or a short walk to town to try some of the fantastic food the town has to offer. Bonus: a heated pool and FREE TESLA CHARGERS, and nobody was using them for the two days we were there. Is it the four seasons? No, but I would totally stay there again.

When I think about motel I didn't except it to be like this It's so modern , situations in the hilltop with a lovely view of the vineyard/freeway ! The room/amenities where great with a affordable price ' They have a outdoor heated pool ( still too cold for us) on site chic resturant we didn't check in but purchase a bottle of wine to enjoyed sitting in the outside fireplace ! Coffee and tea was provided every morning and staff are amazing ! Definetly will revisit if we head that way !

    French toast was good.

Is it beautiful and a great location ... yes. But the team that serves is really lethargic. It was everyone that works here. So, come for the views and be ready to take care of yourself. It took over 30 minutes for a cup of coffee. It took over an hour for food. There was only one other table ordering food and four people working.

Charming bedroom. From bed. Not much floor space in this room.

Beautiful spot right off the 101 in Los Alamos. It certainly has a cool vibe. They're located on top of a little hill which gives you some beautiful views. You'll have to drive up to reception and then back down again so you can go up the other side of the hill to your room. Our room was a little small. Not much room to stretch or do yoga. The bed was firm and comfortable. Shower and bath were clean and really nice. It was rainy and cold on our trip so we made use of the fireplace. It certainly warmed the room up and kept it warm the whole night. There's a restaurant on site. It's convenient but was nothing special. The most memorable part were all the flys in the restaurant. It was odd. Overall, a unique, hip experience.

Traveling up the 101 at Los Alamos we would see the mid-Century SkyView Motel. We decided to stay a night. What a treat! It takes you back in time to the 1950's (in a great way). Single level rooms, thoughtfully remodeled and designed. The brochure said sound proof wall snd they were. Didn't hear a sound from the rooms next door. Beautiful central courtyard filled with a fountain, fire pit, and inviting seating areas. There is also a beautiful deck off the reception office with views over the vineyards. Very nice bath supplies. Here's a bit of interesting trivia, THE BEATLES stayed here in room 33. Imagine yourself back in the 50's lounging by the pool with a cocktail reading a fabulous book. You will want to hang around the pool all day. Full bar access with Norman's restaurant adjacent. The Skyview motel will be a regular stop for us from now on

LOVE IT!!!! and the hotel restaurant Norman... wonderful. Especially dinner. The steak and shrimp, yummy. Not the shrimp though. But the steak and the accompanying French whipped potatoes were next level. Wine, so so. I mean you're amidst some fantastic vineyards and makers, so you could do better. The service at dinner and at breakfast were just the best!!!!!! There's a nice little pool, adult only, with bar service. The rooms are darling as well. Really comfy beds and nice bathrooms. All told, a wonderful place to stay.
