I've been coming here for ~6 months now to get two botched tattoos removed, and i'm really happy with the progress we're making! Previously I did 4 sessions at LaserAway and never saw a difference. After 6-7 sessions at SLA (I can't remember which # we're on now lol) i'm seeing significant fading! Ellie and the team have been so incredible, kind and professional through this whole process and I'm so excited to be that much closer to total removal! :) thank you guys!

I have a history of sensitive skin and hormonal acne so I get breakouts pretty often. Due to this, I have experienced a fair share of skin clinics in the States as well as in Korea. Overall, from my experience, SLA is definitely one of the best skin clinics in the States that emulates the skin clinics in Korea! If you are looking a skin clinic in Aurora, I would definitely recommend checking out SLA! They don't just have acne, but also other laser technology, lifting technology and more! -Overall: The best part about skin clinics in Korea is their customer service attitude, clinic interior design, and services that they provide (usually very high tech). SLA hits the nail on the head for these things! The moment you step into this clinic, you can tell that the interior design (from the soap in the bathroom) to the mirror in the individual rooms, were carefully thought out and maintained. The clinic is very clean but also inviting at the same time! -Treatments: Before my treatment, the owner of the clinic gave me a free consultation of my skin. She advised me on the treatments that she thought would be most beneficial to me and the time frames for each treatments (i.e. every 2 weeks). I also really appreciated that they have a very transparent price list for all of their services. One too many times, skin clinics that I have been to before will recommend certain services to you without telling you the price. However, SLA can literally give you a list of all of the prices of their services and they give discounts through intervals of 5x and 10x. After looking at my skin, I was recommended to do the Skin scaling package for 5x! Usually, an acne treatment is some sort of package where the climax of the treatment is the extractions. These are usually very painful and the intensity of the treatments makes it hard to meet people the day after because your face is very red. However, at SLA, I noticed that they curated their acne treatment in a way that tries to make it as painless as possible. The extractions were definitely not as painful as my past experiences! They also do a lot of calming treatments after the extractions so that your face doesn't look too bad (you can still do your normal things after!). -Staff: Super friendly staff that try to make you as comfortable as possible. They start you off with a short head/scalp massage and they also give you the option of a leg massage (through a machine) during one of the treatments. The leg massage machine kind of feels like a big blood pressure cuff which I think is supposed to help with circulation. It was an interesting feeling but felt pretty relaxing to me!

I purchased laser treatments to address my unevenness skin tone. I love the result I am getting and they recommended me what I needed, never tried to sell me I don't need or never tried to pushy. I made a consultation appointment a few months back and had a very professional and positive experience with Ellie. Today, I came back for a facial with lymph massage and had an excellent experience. I felt so hydrated and relaxed afterward. I'd definitely recommend checking out. The facility is very clean, relaxing and welcoming. I recently went to SLM medspa for a classic set. My cousin Jade recommended me to come. When I walked in I was immediately impressed by the spa. It is so beautiful inside! I was welcomed by the Spa Manager Amelia and she also is the the Lash Technician. It was my first time getting lash extensions. She was so helpful with the entire process. I love my lashes and I can't wait to go back and receive my fill in. Not only does the spa offer lash extensions they also offer, lip fillers, facials, PRP, and more. This place is a GEM! Koreans are on the top of their game when it comes to skincare and anti- aging . I was so lucky to find SLA Medical Spa. They have the latest anti-aging equipment from Korea .They also have skin boosters that are not offered in your typical Med Spas. I had my consultation with one of their staff. She recommended a treatment that will lift and firm my face . It is called Oligio. It is radio frequency device that targets early signs of aging. They had a monthly special with Oligio, which was a great price . Ellie performed my treatment . She was great and the procedure, itself was Painless. After the treatment , I was introduced to Hannah who Performed the LDM drop water lifting treatment followed with a red light therapy and mask . I also got a leg massage . I was so relaxed . I've gone to SLA a couple of times now for a facial and lymphatic massage. This last time I got a cyrofacial. The lymphatic massage and mask are super relaxing. The staff are always really friendly too. I'll definitely be going back because I love how great my skin looks and feels after! read more

When I first walked into this spa, I noticed a very Clean atmosphere and I was greeted by the professional staffs. This was my first visit and I got botox for my jaw due to biting issues and constant headaches. Procedure was very quick not as painful as I thought. It was just a quick pokes around jawline targeted area. It did not take a long time. So after the treatment I was able to get my eyebrows tattoo done right away. About first 20-25mins i waited for the numb cream to sit on my eyebrows before they did the needle procedure. The actual designing and tattooing time was pretty quick. I absolutely LOVE this place. I have been going for a few months now with a visit every three weeks. After every treatment, I feel relaxed and my skin feels so refreshed. Each technician is so nice and gentle. The inside is so clean and looks so nice. They offer me a leg massage machine while I get my facial done and it feels great. The music is always so relaxing and I love coming here. If you are looking for an authentic, luxurious, K-beauty skin experience you must come to this spa. I have a lot of pigmentation issues and I can see a significant difference from when I started my Laser Toning treatment. I would strongly recommend getting their top of the line facial. The lymph massage is so relaxing I just melt into sleep. Every single esthetician is amazing but if I had to pick a favorite it would have to be Lucy. She literally has "magical hands". Everyone is attentive and caring, and the treatments are high quality and effective. I feel younger and rejuvenated every time I get a treatment done. Can't wait to go back! Since I already take great care of my skin and have a comprehensive skincare regimen, they said I may not see much results with my first laser treatment, then spent the rest of my consultation trying to upsell me on a different laser package where I'm told I would see results with those pricier lasers. Overall, everyone was nice and welcoming, but it felt like I was constantly being pressured to purchase something. If I left with any improvements in my skin like my skin tone, or hyperpigmentation I would have still been satisfied with my visit, but the fact that I didn't see any improvements in my skin whatsoever, I felt like everyone wasted their time, including myself, and I was out $100. I saw better results with other skin treatments like a hydrafacial that were similar in price and saw immediate results.
