Scored two seats at the bar and settled in. Guys behind the bar were very friendly. We decided on a couple of Peroni's and they were served in the real Peroni's glass. Ice cold and enjoyable. We then decided to split the house burger; we werent very hungry. I asked if they would cut the burger for us....no problem. When they brought out our order, they had the burger halves on seperate plates and had split the order of fries. Nice touch. The burger was very good and bartenders were constantly keeping and eye on us and asking if we needed anything. The pub is a little noisy (we're old), which is to be expected in an Irish Pub. The soccer game was about to begin. It was a great experience and we will return when in Branson. Highly recommend.

They also have a kids' menu, even though it is not listed on the regular menu, which is nice to know if you are bringing children with you. The staff is always awesome, friendly, and welcoming. I also love that the restaurant is located inside an old historic hotel, which gives it such a cool atmosphere -- and maybe even a few ghost stories. Overall, it is a great spot with good food, great service, and a fun historic feel. I definitely recommend checking it out.

The setting and interior is nice compared to other lake restaurants with boat access. This time we ordered a couple of appetizers: queso and chips, and gator bites. I enjoyed the gator bites. I didn't love my main dish this time, and I'd probably stick with a burger or something else when I eat here again. My dish (Shipwreck Special?) was a Mexican-style dish of rice, fajita shrimp and veggies, covered in queso. There was just so much cheese that it was all you could taste. And there was a huge oil slick on the plate. Like you sometimes get if you break a sauce or reheat something, or maybe just from melting so much cheese. It made part of it inedible. Luckily, I've had more experiences at the restaurant, and I know that other dishes are better. I remember liking the shrimp trio and maybe one of the barbecue plates. The burgers loked good.
