They opened up for those of us stuck in town after the snow storm!!! Paige, the owner, was so hospitable and Ashley, the bar tender, was attentive and awesome. Working with limits, it was amazing so I can imagine with the kitchen and full night time activities going, it is quite a production. Love this place. First time my wife and I have been to the area. Had the best garlic parm wing I've ever had. Cold drinks and friendly service. Zack is about the friendliest bartender you'll ever meet. The only thing dragging down their overall rating is the reviews from the underage kids that are turned away at the door. read more

I've been here 3x this year and the service is terrible. Yesterday, the bartender would not even look at us for over 5 minutes while sitting down. You can be busy and still acknowledge your customers. And then once we received our drinks, no conversation to check on us, or get us another round. She seemed annoyed to even serve us. It's a dive bar. If you go in expecting to get a cold drink not much else, you won't be disappointed. Bar food, bar attitude. I like that they have live music, but hate sitting on top of it in that little room. The bands are not too loud, it's just too loud when you're in such a confined space. This place is a joke...I went into this hellhoe on Jan 2..1 waitress only...we placed a order for drinks and paid cash....we proceeded to order food..waitress brought it to us abd said we owed 69.00..my husband told her we had already paid for our drinks..she removed the charge....we took our food back to the Basin and returned..waitress told us we weren't welcomed back because of a bill discrepancy...WE PAID CASH FOR OUR DRINKS..if she was so busy she couldn't remember then that was her fault...my advise always get a receipt when paying cash....to many cute bars in Eureka for anyone to waste their money in this dump..plus the food was horrible.. read more

We visited the Rowdy Beaver 3 times during our 3 day stay. Both bartenders we had were very friendly but we absolutely loved Cory! We enjoyed the band and fun atmosphere and would definitely return. I already miss Eureka Springs and I was there for less than two hours. There was little to nobody out and about on the Monday that I visited for the first time, but to our delight, the Rowdy Beaver Den was up and running! Now, it is quite clear that this is place that people (per the name) get rowdy on the weekends and probably also weeknights. It had the smell to it when you walked in and it also smelled pretty heavily of cigarette smoke in the front room. However, the back room has high tops and is an option for dining that we found better suited to us. Truth be told, we didn't expect much. It seems like your typical bar (and grill) with options akin to a cheeseburger and chili, but it has more to offer than what meets the eye. My mom ordered the sliders and they truly hit the spot. I on the other hand, ordered a shrimp po'boy. Not something I ever expected to find here but I'm thrilled nevertheless. It was probably the best shrimp po'boy i've ever had. The bread was soft and the shrimp were beautifully fried. Another small joy? Our mimosas came in wine glasses and not solo cups! Needless to say, we judged a book by it's cover and I'm sure this place wouldn't be for everybody. But we'll go back the Rowdy Beaver anytime. read more

Cool name, but total waste of time. Actually chose this because one in our group wanted a shirt. After waiting 40 minutes, we had to go find the server to inquire about our food. He went and asked the meth-mouth chick preparing it. Then he came out and said they didn't have wings and were waiting for a truck. We told him we'd just pay for our drinks and go. Very disappointed! My husband went there to enjoy a night out. We were not welcomed or even spoken to when walking into the nearly empty bar. Then I spilt my full drink which went every where on the table right in front of the bar. I went to the bar and told them I spilt my drink and they handed me a bleach rag to clean it up myself. I had to go clean the rag to clean up the rest of the mess and a customer told me to keep up the work as he thought I worked there b/c I was cleaning up with a rag. Will never go back! Went there after the show last night on our way to the New Orleans. Several empty tables in the bar. Sat down near the bar two girls were working the bar dancing by the cash register and talking. One looked directly at me and looked away. The other, walked by me and looked at me and kept walking. Waited another few minutes was walked by again by same lady. Me and my wife left. It is for sure a 'locals' bar with snobby bartenders who obviously don't care about who they serve or who they piss off. Don't waste your time stopping in. I've been to this particular bar on several occasions. It's basically a dive bar and biker bar. There's usually a live band on the weekends. It's pretty no frills and no nonsense. The drinks are cheap. Don't expect to get anything fancy. I would definitely file some of the clientele under the "sketchy" category. I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of swinging couples in here too. Beware of grabby hands! Also note that this is small town Arkansas, and it's still legal to smoke like a chimney inside this bar. In 2019 and you still have a bar that allows smoking inside is a bit crazy. Left smelling like cigarettes and probably lost 10 years on our life from second hand smoke. 1st time visitors. Visited Saturday afternoon in July. Not terribly busy and plenty of parking. Greeted promptly by a friendly hostess. Ordered an apple and wife a DP. Waitress was talkative and polite. She pointed out the Beaver Balls and recommended we try them. We had the cheese and jalapeños and they arrived Nicely cooked and lava hot. The ranch was delicious and creamy. The Balls were tasty, spicy and very good if not a little pricey at 9 for 10 bucks. Our entrees consisted of a beautiful cooked chicken fry smothered in creamy gravy with fries and okra. Wife had catfish, which was very good. In fact the entire meal was worthy of 4 stars. I can cook a pretty good chicken fry and my fish ain't bad either but you knocked both out of the park. My wife commented on the homemade Cole slaw, that it was delicious.
